The assumption that "if you're attracted to women you must be sexualising ME", "if you're attracted to men you must be sexualising ME" basically translating to "if you're attracted to fat people you must be sexualising ME for being fat"

And that's just not the case? Personally speaking, while I find fat bodies attractive, I'm only actively sexualising the people who are putting themselves out there TO BE SEXUALISED BECAUSE THEY ENJOY IT and if I were dating a fat person, it's a conversation I'd had with them to make sure we both felt comfortable and understood

Sometimes I think a way to feel more normal about having "out there" kinks (if this is something you worry about) is to consider what base desire said kinks fulfil

Like a lot of queer people being into all sorts of tf and inflation kinks doesn't really surprise me at all when those kinks and their relative scenarios all exist somewhere on the spectrum of bodily autonomy (having it removed to expressing it fully and freely), something that we are constantly facing in real life and thus may desire to play around with it in fantasy

Some kinks also have a lot of sensory elements to consider, which may appeal neuro diverse people, be that the tactile nature of gaining weight, the imagined sensation of turning into slime or the sensory deprivation of being put into some kind of machine for kinky reasons

I just find it really interesting because people love to clown on "weirder" kinks that lean into the physically impossible, but to the people who enjoy them they might be fulfilling the same kind of base desire as more "accepted" kinks like bondage or hypnosis, and I think that's important to remember
