Hi buddy! I'm sending another round of questions for Sunday Writeblr Ask-A-Thon! My question to you is: How are you and how things going? hows the wips going, are you ok?
Hello!
How are you and how are things going?
I'm doing well thank you for asking! I was in a weird kind of burnout phase for a little while and it seems I was able to break through thanks to the trip I just came back from. It was more needed than I realized!
How's the WIPs going, are you ok?
My WIP is going really well! I hammered out a few worldbuilding things that were bugging me and that gave me some good momentum to continue making progress. There is a little problem solving that I need to do for an upcoming scene but I'm pretty excited to write it!

Friday Asks
My asks still won't send, so here are today's questions:
Do your characters have any hobbies? If no, why not? What do they do instead? If they do, what do they like to do and why?
What is your character's favorite food. Why is this their favorite? Is this a common food or a luxury / rare one? What is it like?
Your character got caught doing something they shouldn't have been doing! What happens to them (can very based on how severe you want the situation to be) and what are the consequences? Did they gain anything from this?

Ask-A-Thon time for @ask-a-thon: How are you, how are things going and what have you been particurlarly focusing on in a current wip of yours?
Hi! I'm doing okay - I was feeling pretty unwell last week, and we've also had a lot of building work going on, which has combined to put me well behind schedule on my WIPs.
I am trying to write chapter 21 of Darkness at the Heart of my Love. This is the first chapter of the final act of the story - basically we are entering the finale which will run over the next 5 or 6 chapters, so I need to make sure I get the scene set up right.
There will be a final battle, so it's important to naturally establish the layout of the rooms etc. where these chapters are taking place, so that all of the battle movement feels grounded when we get to it.
I also had to spend some time thinking about the kind of clothes my characters are wearing. I don't typically worry too much about describing clothing in my works, but in this case, it fills in some off-screen plot details and also is a great opportunity for some thematic symbolism.

Hi there! Its Week 1 of the Sunday Writeblr Ask-A-Thon! I'm Athena, my question for you is: Do your family read your writing? Does anybody in real life read your writing?
Athena! Thank you for including me in the Ask-A-Thon :D
Do your family read your writing?
Just my sisters!
Does anybody in real life read your writing?
Yes! My sisters as mentioned above and then a few close friends. They get AASOAF well before the internet does. By and large though, most people IRL don't know that I write and the ones that do, don't usually know my pen name or what I write so they don't/can't read it. This is mostly intentional because I'm kind of shy.

Sunday Asks
Okay, so I was wrong- Ask problem still hasn't been fixed like I was told it would be. Hoping it'll be fixed for the Tuesday asks though! I'll keep you guys updated.
If you had to describe your story in 5 words, what would they be? How do those words relate to the story?
What are some reoccurring themes / tropes in your stories? Do you include these intentionally or do they just… happen? Do you also read stories with these themes / tropes?
Has any form of media influenced your stories? If so, what was it and what effect did it have? If not, what's your main source of inspiration for your stories?
