My writing prompt for the week is to write about myself and honestly I have been putting it off because it is the hardest thing to write about.
What do I even say? Where do I start? Do I delve into the depths of my childhood and open up posttraumatic issues that I seemed to vault in the darkest parts of my brain?
Obviously, opening up this can of worms can send me into a spiral of depression and a thousand questions. Why did I choose this specific life and what is it leading me to be?
Okay, maybe it is fear holding me back writing about the one thing I know best. Myself.
I didn't have the worst childhood. Don't get me wrong. My issues, as I would like to call them, stems from an emotional neglect brought on from the matriarch of my household.
I was about 7 years old when I was held back from graduating to Grade 1 where all my friends advanced to. Not because I was not intelligent enough to advance in life but because some human thought it best to hold me back because I was, according to her, not emotionally ready for Grade 1.
Emotionally ready? Anyways.
Please, for the love of plants, can someone explain to me who gives someone the right to do this? The repercussions of my parents deciding that holding me back is best is that I never felt good enough and it emotionally fucked me up so much that I will only admit to having emotions is when I have a mental breakdown for holding in as much emotion as I possibly can.
Imagine being in school and being outcasted by all of the children in your class and grade because you are just some misunderstood empath. We were not emotionally capable of understanding that I just felt the world more deeply and I was judged harshly because of it, and thought of as unintelligent because I am older than the rest of my class.
Perhaps, this is why I like being alone. Nope too much. This is it for the day...

Sometimes I get a brain wave of an idea or scene for a fan fic & have no idea if it already exists or how to find if it does (and also having very little ability to write it out if it doesn’t ☹️).
So
Is there a fic with vibes of “OC in naruto writes better porn than Jiraiya & confronts him about icha-icha being all ‘she boobed boobily’. Challenges him and proceeds to write something with the vibe of rule #34 by fish in a bird cage (can you tell what I was listening to when the idea came about)
I just though it would be funny & now it’s sort of stuck half formed in my head with no outlet 🫤

22nd June ’24 [A Journey Within]
“Write about 3 things you have recently learned and 3 things you would want to learn.” Quote: “The only real mistake is the one which we learn nothing.” – John Powell 1) The Power of Focus: In my mid-20s to my 30s, I always thought I needed to achieve everything as fast as possible, which often had negative effects on me. Recently, I reached a point of feeling overwhelmed and burned out. I…

Ok so...
I don't know if this is a good idea or not.
Basically, I write stories on Wattpad and I feel really motivated when I start them but gradually I lose it. I figured maybe if I write a story and not publish it until it's done will works since I read something about if you announce your goals you have a less likely chance to achieve it.
I really don't know what to do and I would appreciate your feedback.

At the sun lit verandah
This is about a fragment of my mother’s memory I’m hoping to immortalize here. It takes place at her mother’s, at the time when she used to visit them during her school vacations. The words Muthassan (meaning ‘Grandfather’) and Muthassi (meaning 'Grandmother’) refers to my great grandparents here.
I’ve used some other words to sustain the eloquence of my first language and the rich play of dialects.
Every Sunday morning, the lanky paper boy would leave the weekly magazine along with the newspaper at the beginning of their driveway, way before the hamlet wakes up. Muthassan would get up, walk the whole pathway, slowly, under the arching cashew trees, as they filter the morning sunshine into fine quanta of goodness, to see if the boy had left the paper for him. He’d get back way faster, as he could no longer wait to read the sequel of some classy Bengali novel on the magazine, which he said he adored.
After having breakfast, usually Idli with Muthassi’s Chutney, well seasoned with the red chilly, he’d read the paper and listen to the day’s briefing on the small transistor he owned, sitting candidly on his magnificent deck chair in the verandah.
The verandah was simply aesthetic. It was built a bit high above the ground with two round poles on either side of the steps. Views from the deck of the verandah offered a picturesque sight of the garden and the backyard filled with the evergreen canopy of tall trees blocking most of the sunlight. The deck chair, made of mahogany, was positioned at the right side of the verandah, facing outside, allowing him to instantly spot anybody coming to visit him.
By midday, the skies above their heads would’ve turned spotless blue and Muthassi would’ve finished most of the works in the kitchen and have sat down on the deck of the verandah, carefully stroking her luxuriant hair.
Then Muthassan would start reading the magazine, The Mathrubhumi Weekly. Loudly, but gently in his orotund voice, he’d read each line to his beloved, as his voice reverberate through the infinite time of the Ollukkara.
The kids would gather too, as it was only a weekly experience.
Sometimes, Muthassi would get complete lost in fixing her hair or in the voice of the wind, still he would read on.
It was his way of being grateful and an expression his unconditional love, it seems.
O, Lord of Guruvayoor, the supreme and the powerful, letteth thy grace be with them, forever.

Writing prompt
“Just let me die,” she whispered. Loosening the grip of his hand. “Never,” he shook his head in despair. “Don’t you get it?” Her voice softened as tears began appearing in the corner of her left eye. “I was never really here.” By that her hand let go of his. She fell. And then as her last words left her mouth and entered the cold room of emptiness there was nothing, but the echo of her familiar voice: “Live”.

Okay, so like, two possible scenarios crossed my mind:
1. Badass MC that studyes it in secret so that they are good at something, but aren't telling anyone. They desperatly try year after year to convince the school to allow it's practice so that they and others that are good at it can practice it in peace and help the world. Some kind of bad guy attacks the school and the MC saves it by using their dark powers, revealing that they were practicing it in secret, but as reward for their bravery, the school finaly allows it's study.
Or...
2. Every year, our MC barges into the room, a serious look on their faces. They can feel the stares of the school staff, but they don't care, they will to their best to convince them to-
*insert 10 hour power point presentation*
Dark magic is the only magic discipline that your school doesn’t teach and forbids the practice of. Unfortunately it is also the only discipline that you are any good at and so, year after year, you try your hardest to convince the school that dark magic can be used for more than just evil.

Promt #002
A Musicians Bow
I pulled back the string, my arm beginning to quiver under the instrument. I had been playing with for hours now.
People watched around in fear, unable to move.
I wondered why they where all to scared to stop me? I pulled the string further and let go. The sound was a little whistle, soft and delicate.
The arrow hit the man straight between the eyes. Bullseye.
