You give them a wrapped piece of candy they don't know is sour, and their reactions 😱 think warheads xtreme sour levels.

Johnny Cage:

Those acting skills kicked in the instant the sourness hit. Which means you can still clearly tell he’s feeling it hard.

His sunglasses mask the fluttered squinting somewhat until he takes them off to put his head in his hand.

For once he’s speechless, and you almost tell him to just spit it out but he refuses with a slow headshake against his palm.

Actually manages to hold on until the candy sweetens, to which he glares at you, slick forehead-ass. How could you do that to him… He could have died..

Kenshi:

He knows. His ancestors told on you.

Tries the candy to humor you, and because he wants to (see) you happy. Taken aback at first because since becoming blind, his other senses have heightened and taste is no exception.

Still handles it better than Johnny, but if his eyes still worked he’d be squeezing them like lemons right now.

Quietly puts it back in its wrapper once it sweetens. Kind of a let-down reaction, but it’s cute to see his tongue blue when he says “Yeah it’s… Sour.”

Bi Han:

Completely oblivious when you hand it to him. It’s blue so he’s inclined to eat it

His usual scrunched brows inflate in the splittest second once the sour hits, thinks you’ve moronically given him a poisoned substance without realizing.

He spits it out on his hand when you try to tell him no, it’s not an assasination attempt, it’s just candy. Not amused.

Slings it hundreds of feet away before you hear a distant vehicular collision.

Tomas Vrbada:

Put the candy in his mouth with no hesitation since he trusts you. Trust revoked.

Still has it in his mouth but glares at you with saucer eyes. Once he sees you grinning, realizes you’ve done this on purpose and hollers.

Fans his face as wisps of smoke flutter at his hand, remembers his Lin Kuei ninja training.

Gets through it!! Cries a little while you give him back pats.

Syzoth:

Puts it in his mouth and swallows it whole.

He still doesn’t catch that you tried to prank him. It was a bit tangy, sure, but was that it?

Has a reduced sense of taste since he’s a reptile so this is nothing for him. It does give a nice tingle, though.

Asks for more, you give him one more. Looks confused at your own confusion and extends his hand for more. More-

Stuffs them in his mouth like popcorn.

Baraka:

Inspects the candy between his sharp nails with hesitation until you say he doesn’t have to try it if he doesn’t want to.

You saying it like that makes him secretly happy :DD so he eats it, close to crunching until the sour hits.

Tries to spit it out instinctively but his teeth are in the way..

The sour candy ricochets in his poor jaws like a pinball machine.

Ends up accidentally swallowing it. I hope you’re happy.

Author’s Note: I'm currently working on part 2 of Come Back To Me! For now enjoy this drabble that was inspired by this :)

Summary: There was still so much that Cassian and Azriel didn't know about you

Pairing: Azriel x Reader

Warnings: talks of killing, let me know if I need to add any others :)

“Go ahead, tell him.” Azriel told you.

“It was me. I killed the group of Illyrians.” You admitted.

“What?! I wanted you to tell him you ate the last muffin. You killed a group of Illyrians?!”Azriel’s eyes bulged from his head as he yelled.

“It was you?? YOU ATE THE LAST MUFFIN?!” Cass shouted.

You held up a finger to Azriel, letting him know you’d answer him in a second. Then you turned to Cassian to answer his question first.

“Damn right I ate the last muffin and guess what? It was delicious!” You told him with a smug look on your face.

“How could you?! I thought we were friends!” Cass cried.

“Do you remember when you ate my brownie and I told you I would get payback??” You asked, eerily calm.

His eyebrows raised, jaw dropped, and a gasp left his mouth.

“That was THREE years ago!” He retorted.

“Never cross me.” You warned the male in front of you.

A look of horror grew on Cassian’s face. Azriel stood in between the two of you looking back and forth. His eyes still wide in disbelief.

“Are we just going to ignore that she killed a group of Illyrians on her own?!” The shock still evident in his voice.

“It was the last few soldiers from the camp that had sided with Amarantha under the mountain. You guys hunted all of the other groups down and I wanted to help!” You defended yourself.

The shadowsinger just stared at you in surprise, Cass still stood there eyeing you cautiously.

“Now that everthing is cleared up, can I go?” You questioned with expectant eyes.

They both stood, dumbfounded and shook their heads up and down. You walked out with a smile on your face, content with the entire conversation.

Once she was gone, both males spoke at the exact same time.

“I’m so terrified of her.” Cassian said.

“I’m so in love with her.” Az stated.

I keep seeing the candy trauma salad videos again and I need to know if the girls ever decide on doing one lmao?

I think they would try to rope their dads into it but they would just simply stare and say.... no. But i can see them standing in the backround watching the girls telling increasingly more traumatising things at which both Steve and Eddie would have to stop and say are y'all good??

I think one if them definetly would say that one of their traumas is being adopted lmao

This is especially funny because Steve is a trauma-based therapist lol

Hazel definitely makes Robbie and Moe do this with her, and when she posts it, she adds the caption *trauma candy salad except we were raised by a trauma counselor*

They start with Robbie:

Robbie: Hey, I’m Robbie and one time a girl broke up with me because I was questioning my gender and then, like, almost a year later when I changed my pronouns back to she/her on Instagram, she DM’d me to say that she would be okay with us getting back together.

Robbie: And I brought the bowl *holds up large glass mixing bowl*

*cut to Moe*

Moe: I’m Moe, and me and my sisters were put into into foster care at birth and we’ve literally never known a single thing about our mom because she died before any of us were allowed to contact her

Moe: And I waited two decades to get DNA tests done, and then when we finally did it, not only did we not learn a single thing about our mom – literally nothing – we also learned that I have a different bio-dad.

Moe: It was probably the worst day of my entire life.

Moe: And I brought lemonade Sour Patch Kids.

*cut to Hazel*

Hazel: Heeey, I’m Hazel, and I did ballet for fifteen years and during the last rehearsal for my senior spring recital, my dance teacher said over the microphone with the entire company in the theater that I was the reason the show looked bad.

Hazel: And I didn’t know what to do so I just said thank you.

Hazel: Oh, and I brought gummy worms.

*cut to back Robbie*

Robbie: I’m Robbie and when I was fourteen I was in the senior orchestra class and we went to Disney for their music festival, and the second night we were there, one of my friends with a fake I.D. stole a car and convinced us all to go out and get drunk and go joy-riding and the car ended up on the wrong side of the highway and we flipped twice and I almost died.

Robbie: And I was trying really hard to be cool but I was honestly just excited to be at Disney.

Robbie: So that sucked.

Robbie: And I brought Nerds Gummy Clusters

*cut to Moe*

Moe: Hi, I’m Moe, and when I was applying to college, I had a male interviewer tell me that he didn’t think I could handle the engineering program and that I should choose something easier.

Moe: I had a 5.0 GPA and got a 5 on the AP Physics exam the year before.

Moe: But whatever.

Moe: I brought Starbursts

*cut to Hazel propping up the camera so Eddie can be seen standing at the counter*

Hazel: Okay, go.

Eddie: I’m Ed.

Eddie: *warily thinking about what he’s legally allowed to say*

Eddie: I failed senior year twice, and the third time, after I spent basically the entire year working my ass off – kind of – so I'd actually graduate, we went into a state of emergency in March and all the seniors got their diplomas by default.

Eddie: And apparently I brought *looks at bag* – oh shit, these are actually good. AirHeads Xtremes.

Moe, behind the camera: Didn’t you almost die during all that?

Eddie: Yep.

A slight change of pace ch 2.

Synopsis- Things start getting intense for y/n, she has her run in with Trish Status and …someone else.

Warnings- language, violence, mixed signals

Word count- 1.9k

I bust through the black, curtains and run as fast as I possibly can towards the ring no music or anything.

“Wait a second who’s this?!” JR spoke emphatically from the commentator desk.

“Oh my goodness is that y/n?” Jerry Lawler yelled too.

“I think it is Jerry!”

Cheers and screams erupted from all over the place. I couldn’t tell if it was because they were excited to see me. Or if it was just because something was going down.

I don’t know if Trish saw me, but she acted like she didn’t when I finally made it down beside the ring.

She had her back to the ramp, Lita pushed her against the ropes. Just as she did, I grabbed her ankles and yanked her out from under the bottom rope, landing hard on the ground.

I start wailing on her, throwing fists, rough forearms. Immediately the bell is rung.

“The winner by disqualification is Trish Stratus!!”

Some of the crowd booed some cheered and that’s exactly what we all wanted.

“I can’t believe this JR! What is y/n doing here? She is giving an absolute beating to Trish!”

“I can’t hardly believe what I’m seeing here. This is a bizarre sight.”

I stand up looking to Lita and she nods her head from where she stood exasperated in the ring.

I grab Trish by the back of her clothes and fling her back into the middle of the ring. Lita gave her a couple good kicks, I give her one more hit to the back of the head and she stays “out cold” on the mat.

Lita grabs my hand and raises my arm over my head along with hers. We stand over her for a while, for dramatic effect. Finally Lita’s music starts playing and we slide out of the ring and head backstage.

As soon as we were behind the curtain, Lita screeched. “That was fucking insane, the crowd was so loud!” she hooked me by the neck and gave me a huge hug.

“That was a rush.” I shake my head almost in disbelief at what just happened. It felt immensely different to any previous match I’d ever had.

Trish busted in soon after. “Woo!” She breathed out quick. “That was amazing, they were loving you!”

“Oh my gosh really? I think I blacked out.” I laughed

I head further backstage with Lita and we get pulled over to the side by Michael Cole. He tells us when we get back from commercial break we’re gonna have a quick interview. Just after, the guys walked up behind us too.

“Alright I’m here with Lita and y/n. Ladies what just happened out there?” Michael asks concern in his voice.

Lita snatches the mic out of his hand, breath getting heavier and heavier. “Why don’t you take this one?”

I take a deep breath and grab the mic. “Ya know what I will.”

I lick my lips getting ready to rant.

“I’m sick and tired of the treatment I’ve been getting. Barely being noticed by the other divas in the locker room. Being made a laughing stock for alll of them to make fun of.”

“Oh y/n isn’t good enough, she isn’t popular enough.”

I quickly glance to Lita for reassurance and my grabs my arm and gives me a quick squeeze.

“Until Lita took me under her wing. She was the only one to notice my potential and suggested we take the world by storm.” I shrug nonchalantly

“So that’s what we’re gonna do.” Intensity lacing my voice.

“And I have no issue with knocking Trish’s or anyones head clean off for that matter.”

Lita stepped over, leaving a little room in between us when she noticed the two guys walking up to join.

“They’ll have plenty of help while they’re at it.” Jeff says now throwing an arm over my shoulders and Matt does the same with Lita. It made my heart skip a beat but I stay as in the zone as I can.

“Team Xtreme has a new member.” Matt says grinning, and we all saunter away. The camera pans to Michael once more and he makes a wide eyed confused look.

“Oh my gosh that was so fun.” I feel so giddy right now.

“That was so good you seriously fit right in dude.” Lita agreed holding Matt close to her.

I realized Jeff still had his arm around me, I look up to see if he was going to say anything. He looked down towering over, and lets me out of his grasp.

We all part ways after the long walk back to the locker rooms. I hop in the shower, and start gathering my things together. Lita moments ago had just gave me hers and the guys numbers in case I needed anything.

God she was being so sweet, like a big sister. I’m shocked at how much she’s already taken such a liking to me. But the feeling is mutual.

Now being all alone in the large room covered in lockers and benches. I start stuffing all my clothes and things in my duffel bag.

Suddenly I heard the door swing open. I looked over my shoulder and saw Jeff walking up quickly, I was startled slightly not expecting anyone to come in. But there he was shoulders back, arms swinging like he was on a mission.

“Hey!” He said rather aggressively.

“What’s up?” I respond coy, not my usual demeanor, I was just- what does he want? I feel so flustered, I look around, making sure I really was the only one in here.

“Look, I’m only gonna say this once.” He’s now way closer than before, and inching further into my personal space after each word.

He’s still in his ring gear, hair wet and irritation seemed to be oozing out of him.

“Don’t mess this up for us, we got a good thing going here. We don’t need some-“ he scoffed interrupting himself.

“Some newbie coming in and ruinin it.”

“I uh” I’m utterly caught off guard, before I can say anything he starts again.

“But listen If we don’t keep our normal momentum I won’t be the one in trouble. Just… don’t fuck this up for yourself.” His face was now, mere centimeters away, I could feel his breath on mine.

I was at a loss for words, as I had been very frequently today.

“Got it.” Was all I could think, responding very curtly, with a quick nod.

Our eyes were locked, tighter than a safe. I refused to break contact and so did he. I may have been timid today but I wasn’t gonna let him push me around. My back ended up pressed firmly against the lockers behind me. After a long, I don’t even know how many seconds, he stormed out just as he came in. It felt like the tension was still lingering in the room after he had already left.

I didn’t realize I had been holding my breath for god knows how long. I let out a long exhale.

Next Monday Night Raw (a week later)

“Introducing, the team of Lita, and Y/N!”

Music blares, and cheers almost drown it out. Almost.

After a quick pep talk just moments ago and a huge gulp (okay maybe chug) of water. We bolted out on stage.

It’s electric, the energy was even more insane than last week. We pause at the top of the ramp for a moment, for the dramatics of it all. I didn’t really know what to do, so I just started bobbing my head to the song, getting myself into fight mode. Then we make our way to the ring.

We’re facing Trish, and Terri tonight, I was excited because it’s a strong match up.

The bell is rung, after we drag out our entrance. Boasting on each corner of the ring, on the top ropes. Flashing the Hardy Boyz signature hand motions.

I’m starting off the match against Trish, we circle each other like sharks in the middle of the ocean. Now we just have to find out who’s gonna bite first.

We lock up, fighting for dominance. Going back and forth for a few minutes, blow for blow, finally I give a huge enziguri kick.

“Tag me in, tag me!” Lita screamed anxiously from behind the ropes.

I leap over, slapping her outstretched hand. “Double team, got it?” She mumbled giving me pointers as we went along.

I lift Trish up on my shoulders, while Lita jumps to the top rope, leaping off and slamming her down by the neck.

We didn’t have a long match set. Just before going on I was Informed it would only be about seven minutes. So we had to make it count.

After I stepped off to the apron while Lita began the beat down, Trish miraculously made the tag. Just barely. Now Lita and Terri were going at it, they went back and forth. Lita landed a hurricanrana, then Terri, throwing her off the ring onto the ground.

Trish had rolled on the floor on the opposite side too, she laid lifeless still. While Terri had her back to me, I wanted to take advantage. So I pause waiting for Lita to roll out of the way, and I leap off the apron diving right onto Terri. Just about then Trish had awoken, and ran around the side of the ring, while now Terri and Lita were laying out cold.

Eventually she throws me like a rag doll back inside the ring, and I somehow make my way back to my feet while she bounces herself off the opposite ropes. I meet her again with a slap to the face, and all the sudden I hear the cheers of fans get even louder than before. That’s when I see Jeff and Matt absolutely bolting towards me, from the crowd, flinging themselves over the barricade.

Matt runs up just in time for him to do the exact thing I did to Trish last week. Grabbing her ankles causing her to faceplant. Jeff darts his eyes to me, from underneath his eyebrows, and then dips beneath the ring. He pops back up, tossing a steel chair in, and then another.

I immediately capitalize, grabbing Trish harshly, and giving her a snap ddt. A Lita classic. (I had been studying up on my film.) Once she’s down again I grab the other chair, whacking her a couple times right on the back.

Jeff was banging his hands on the apron. “Cmon! Finish it!”

Is he cheering me on?

Matt is jumping up and down, hands on his head like he was shocked at the brutality.

I flip her over, pinning her shoulders for a 1,2,3 count. Finally Lita had come to, just before the bell rang, she was elated.

Trish rolled out of the ring absolutely exhausted, just when Jeff and Matt slid in to celebrate. “Holy shit!!” Lita yelled into my ear as she pulled me in for a hug. Matt gave me a huge high five and a hug. “That, was awesome girl.”

Then Jeff. He had excitement on his face, but he didn’t give me a hug. Lita and Matt, made room for him, and then he stopped.

His hair hung over his face, wet like always. His black tank top clung to his chest, so much so I could see his heavy breath.

Then suddenly he puts both hands on the side of my head and pulls me in. His lips crashed to mine, he moved in perfect rhythm with mine. I almost completely forgot where I was, a rush of euphoria fell over me. He pulled away, giving a slight smirk before grabbing my arm and holding it high in the air.

AN UNSUSPECTING LOVER

The adrenaline after a match always made your head pound and your body jittery. Especially for the likes of Y/N, who pushed through the curtain with a limp and a gleaming smile from the praise of backstage staff. They were quick to ask for the nearest source of water which, for some reason, was only in catering. Out of breath and truly now deperate for water- because why would they only have it in catering and have catering like, five miles away from the gorilla?? Either way, Y/N, walked into catering with an agitated sigh and finally reached their prized water.

Half way through their water bottle, Y/N heard familiar laughter from behind them. Turning around and taking the plastic bottle from their lips, they were quick to find Team Xtreme who had very clearly been watching them.

“Oh, hey guys!” Now, out of breath from chugging the much aforementioned water, they greeted the three with a grin while moving over to the table they were seated at. Lita returned their cheerful hello from her place in between the boys and Matt gave Y/N a smile across the table.

“Hi, n/n.” Jeff looked up at them leaning into the vacant chair next to him, love sick expression too obvious to everyone but them.

“Hi, Jeff.” They repeated, voice as sweet as can be and grin growing cheekier. “Oh, did you see my match?” They leaned in closer to him, giving his arm a -unfortunately, for Jeff- friendly swat. “I tried to do a Swanton variation thing, was it any good?”

“It was great, I loved it! Everything you do’s perfect, wouldn't have expected any less.” Matt scoffed at the infatuated boy and Lita swatted at him- a lot less nice than y/n had done to Jeff.

“Oh, you’re too sweet!” They moved even closer, hand gently landing on his shoulder at his compliment. “Well, I’m gonna get going, I gotta shower. But I’ll see you guys!” As they walked away, Lita quickly turned to Jeff with wide eyes, expecting something from him. But he only sat and watched their leaving form.

“Jeff! You were supposed to ask them out!” She stressed, exasperated.

“Oops.” He mumbled from behind his hand of the arm he had propped up against the back of his chair, eyes never leaving y/n.

“God, I am so sick of this! Matt, give him some advice, how’d you ask me out?”

“Uh, I just kinda kissed you.”

“And then?” Lita egged him on.

“And then you told me we were going on a date..” At Matt’s quiet confession, Lita pushes up from her chair, hands slamming against the table.

“You guys are so useless, I have to do everything around here! Why can’t you just come out and say that you like them instead of looking at them like a little love sick puppy all the time!”

“Lita, I really have been trying everything. I even did the whole hand size comparison thing you told me to do! Y/n’s just..not into me.” Jeff sunk into his chair as he spoke before hearing a scoff at the table next to them to find Billy Gunn, who had turned away from his conversation with a couple other people waiting for the night to end.

“Yeah, right. Do you not see the way that kid looks at you? Plus, one time Hunter asked them out and they said no- ‘cause they were goin’ out with you that night- but they would love to hang out some other time. Y/n’s just a little oblivious sometimes, you gotta put it right in their face.” Billy turned back to his prior conversation, leaving Jeff to swallow all of that. Lita, still very frustrated let out an angry groan.

“Well, if you know all that and still won’t do anything, then I’ll do this myself too!”

“Yeah, Jeff, shes gonna do it herself.” Matt smuggly told his brother, kicking his feet into Lita’s abandoned chair. Jeff glared over at him, before quickly leaving his seat and following after Lita.

Jeff had easily found Lita- banging on your locker room door. Jeff tried to pull her away before you heard, but the door opened just as he reached her.

“What? What’s the matter?” Y/n stressed, wrapped in a towel and dripping wet. Jeff drew in a breath and quickly flushed, turning away from the door but Lita quickly turned him back and grabbed him by the bicep.

“He’s got something to tell you.” Lita spoke as she looked over at him, raising her eyebrows with expectancy and shoved him into the room, almost into y/n, before quickly making her exit.

“So, whattaya gotta tell me?” Y/n asked, a little uncomfortable from the semi-wet clothes stuck to their body after rushing to get dressed.

Jeff shifted nervously, eyes moving around the room to meet anything but y/n, taking a quick breath before finally spitting it out.

“I really like you, n/n. Um, a lot.”

“Oh. Well, I like you too!” Y/n answered, their smile shining bright. Jeff smiled softly at them, all nerves leaving him.

“You do?”

“‘Course I like you, you’re my best friend!” Jeff couldn’t help but let out a short laugh at their explanation, his head falling and hand coming to rub at his temples. “What’s wrong? Did I say something bad?”

“No, sweetheart. I meant-“ He couldn’t help but burst into sweet laughter again, looking up at them. “I meant in a romantic way. I want to go out with you, and kiss you, and spend long, peaceful nights with you.”

“Oh.” Y/n’s voice was soft, face burning from a bit of embarrassment but also from Jeff’s endearing words. “I didn’t- I didn’t think you were into me like that.”

“Is it okay that I am?” His voice turned soft too. He stepped forward, softly grasping their forearm. Y/n’s hand moved to touch his arm too, the room filled with a tension much better than the anxiety it held earlier.

“It’s perfect. Is it okay I’m into you like that?” Soft voices turning to whispers, adoration burning further in their close proximity. His thumb smoothed over their skin, grasping a bit firmer, but still very softly. His other hand moved up, taking place on their cheek.

“That's all I could ever ask for.”

y/n is very much sunshine in this, dont know y ig i just felt like it but either way yippee!! this was fun to write and a lil corny but i love making mr jeffro a lover boy also dont know where the water bottle obsession came from I just ran with it after I wrote it (a bit of an unconscious solitude reference perhaps?) also Lita is a girlboss
