yakumo does something so irresistibly cute and endearing quincy can’t help but stop whatever he’s doing and (gently) grab yakumo’s chin, studying him with a rather.. serious and slightly concerned? expression on his face.

“m-mr. quincy? i-is everything alright?” in response to the serpent’s valid question, quincy shuts his eyes and breathes a heavy sigh, as if resigning himself to his fate, before leaning in and..

..ever-so-gently biting yakumo’s cheek.

obviously, yakumo makes one of his signature flustered noises, which in turn only strengthens quincy’s weird, newfound desire to bite him. which, of course, causes yakumo to squeak again. what would’ve turned into an endless cycle of biting and noise making is only interrupted because quincy has the willpower of a bull.

he pulls away, observing the wet spot littered with barely visible teeth marks that now resides on yakumo’s extremely red cheek. yakumo, in response, stares up at quincy with the most flabbergasted expression anyone has ever had, maybe ever. he’s so confused he’s on the verge of tears. which.. is kind of exactly how he responds to blade and his odd displays of affectionate.

speaking of blade, quincy supposes he may owe yakumo an explanation of some sort.

“i think.. i understand how the edroid feels. i just.. wanted to bite you?” it’s an explanation that only raises more questions, quincy’s sure. he’s not even fully sure why he did what he did. blade bites things he finds cute, and suddenly the forest guardian was struck with the urge to do the same.

yakumo doesn’t look any less confused, but he does look slightly less frazzled, and quincy considers that good enough. he kisses the tip of yakumo’s nose before pulling away, just because he can ♡

TO SEE IT!!!! you can see the joy nucarni brings you and it's so funny thank you so much for sharing. i say this with the most love and kindness and sincerity possible but your they were both service tops yakublade looks like an adult swim break screen (i think it's the font) and it's genuinely one of my favorite things to look at ever. i think you could send it in and they'd air it. anyway thank you fish you make my very sad days much better

my reasonings under the cut

OK so 1. Eiden x almost everyone is an otp!! GaruKaru are too kid-coded for me so unfortunately.. yeah..

2. I am a big fan of polyclan, but of course there are ships that I subscribe to more than others.. I was recently convinced of Aster x GaruKaru (but I think Aster x Karu is cuter), YakuBlade/BladeKumo is GOSPEL. I will contue to speak their truth... OliMond is cute, but my perspective of them is somewhat one-sided (Edmond is fully down bad for Oli, but Oli hasn't gone further with Edmond than fuckbuddies. its a development!!!)... OliMorv is so underrated it's insane. these two are such FREAKs and I LOVE IT. DanMond/EnMond is a timeless classic, the moment I saw them in the same room together I knew they were meant to be. I also very recently got into AstRei, so I'm also setting them up for kisses and cuddles!! but once again!!!! I love polyclan, I love exploring dynamics

3. I feel like the devs are implying DanBlade... AND I HIGHLY APPROVE!!!!

4. The DanRin is because of a conversation I had with a friend. if you're degenerate enough to know the context, hmu HAHAHA

5. I added the gray frenemies color purely because of Kuya. Because of Kuya's nature as a character, I couldn't get a complete grasp on what his relationships would be with other characters, I was even tempted to simply add a "Kuya." color

6. to explain the "besties" status with Morvay, Dante and Karu, I see them as a silly trio of "two dumbfucks and one smartass who has to deal with their bullshit".

7. I decided to color in the character x themselves squares, but not so much shipping but as "how much do they like themselves". eiden has quite literally fucked himself so, that's a no-brainer. but for characters like Rei, Aster or Quincy I don't think they like themselves very much.

8. to explain the "family" with Kuya and the other yokais, I see them as just two siblings and their weird uncle grandpa who they admire very much

9. I was tempted to add a "maybe in another universe" category for Rin specifically (as I am, very unfortunately for some of you, a Rin fucker)

10. blade was almost going to be "like" all across the board with the exception of Eiden

i have actually thought about them before yes!!

so.. both of them are service tops. but they don’t know this until they’re far too in the moment to really care.

blade is very prudent on making sure everyone has their essence levels topped up, yakumo included of course. actually yakumo gets special attention because he often busies himself so much or gets lost in his anxieties, and that mixed with his general lack of concern for his own wellbeing means he doesn’t regulate his essence as much as he should. that’s where blade comes in!

if yakumo’s busy in the kitchen, blade reminds him to feed himself and gives him a kiss to restore some of his essence. if yakumo’s cried a lot that day, blade makes sure he drinks lots of water and gives him a kiss to cheer him up as well as pass along some essence. blade loves to give him little kisses throughout the day, seemingly for no reason at all, and you’d think yakumo would be used to it considering how often it happens, but he always blushes bright red while blade comments on how cute he is <3

during their brief escapade as idols these ‘essence regulation check-ins’ only increased in frequency. yakumo usually makes sure he pulls away for the kiss can go on for too long, lest he get too wrapped up in it, but this time… he’s been so anxious lately, and blade is such a comforting presence (and an enthusiastic kisser) it can’t hurt to get a little carried away, can it?

yakumo pulls blade down on top of him, blade letting out these appreciative hums like he wants to compliment yakumo on how good of a kisser he is but he can’t because of how tightly the serpent is holding on to him. they have to split for air eventually, regardless of how badly yakumo just wants to run his tongue across blade’s teeth until he can’t think anymore, and blade sits back to look down at him with his eyes sparkling and lips shiny.

“wow, little yakumo! you’re so good at that! how come we’ve never done that before?”

yakumo barely processes the compliment, too busy thinking about how badly he wants. his dick is aching, so worked up from a simple makeout session, and for once he can’t find it in himself to be embarrassed. probably because of the way blade’s looking at him.

“u-um, mr. blade.. i..” yakumo’s plea for.. something gets abruptly cut off by a needy whimper as blade settles back, aligning their hips together and letting out a sing-songy moan at the sensation.

“little yakumo, you’re so cute like this…” blade pants out, gazing at the man under him with a look in his eyes that makes yakumo’s heart flutter. he knows some of his serpentine traits are showing through, his fangs elongated after kissing for so long and pupils narrowed into slits, but blade looks down at him like he’s the loveliest thing he’s ever seen.

“you’re so hard down here,” he admires, petting at yakumo’s stomach in a way that makes him squirm and wish that hand would move just a bit farther down. “do you.. want me to make you feel good?”

‘you already are.’ yakumo’s lust riddled mind helpfully provides, but instead of saying that he simply nods and blinks away the tears in his eyes.

blade opens himself up while kissing yakumo, skilled fingers working quickly and efficiently in a way that would make not-sex-drunk yakumo wonder if he usually does this to himself or others. knowing blade it could honestly go either way.

blade then proceeds to ride yakumo for hours, the stamina of an e-droid and a yokai not to be taken lightly, moaning loudly at the way the serpent’s unusually clumsy fingers rub at the glittering gem imbedded in his chest.

(distantly, yakumo feels guilty about telling eiden he would go to sleep early tonight, but he consoles himself after remembering how easily he falls asleep after burying himself deep inside eiden and making him cry out in pure pleasure until the sun rises the next morning. if anyone knows how tiring rigorous ‘exercise’ can be, it’s their beloved ‘manager’.)

(eiden notices, because of course he does, though he doesn’t say anything too direct. instead he simply smirks and shakes his head, remarking on how the two of them must have had a great sleep last night, much to yakumo’s embarrassment. blade does not help by energetically embracing yakumo in a hug from behind and saying ‘yep! little yakumo’s a great cuddler!’ in a way that has the serpent squeaking regardless of whether blade notices the innuendo of his words.)

there is not a single member of the clan who doesn’t spoil the heck out of yakumo. eiden and blade are especially bad for it but he truly is the clan’s baby. one of the first times we see quincy praise anybody it’s him complimenting yakumo’s cooking and you know quincy’s a sucker for cute things so he compliments yakumo all the time just to see his reaction. literally no one can resist his beautiful brown eyes and adorable shy giggle.

imagine BladeKumo/YakuBlade... but its... the great serpent and automaton 0202..... blade being sent to kill the great serpent, instead gets trapped in his nest and the great serpent (pre-grieving fury) is like "oooh!! pretty human toy!!! humans are so smart, being able to create replicas of themselves like these wowie......" and blade gets his robot brain tinkered with until he becomes loyal to the great serpent and they fall in love and the great serpent learns to see Blade as a human rather than an articial creation... and Blade gets to learn about life and emotions and cherishing another person..... huuuooogghhhh
