Sometimes I see people theorize why Hong Lu's ids seem to split into 2 in terms of personality and some of them are really cool theories but I'm pretty sure the actual answer is just his response to his trauma. For ids like dieci and liu (and I'm pretty confident r corp is in this group too, contrary to what some people may think) he represses his emotions to deal with his trauma. Meanwhile for ids like tingtang, fanghunt and kurokumo, he acts violent so he feels like he's in control of what happened to him or something along those lines

quick question for my 5 very loyal followers on here, would you guys like, want a discord server for my fics? Didn't think about making one originally bc I interact with my fans just fine on tumblr or through comments, but I figured recently that having a discord server dedicated to my fics would help people have an easier time keeping up with what I update and such, especially since updates take me a long time to write nowadays.

haven't decided on anything too concrete yet but I'm planning on making dedicated sections to discussing my fics, recommending other author's fics, which work I'm currently working on rn, which requests I've written so far, etc etctc

I doubt this matters all that much but I'm really doing this for the 5 people who do want this so like, 5 hearts and I'll start making a server

ALSO I swear I'm going to release that abnormality essay soon. Ik I said I already had the essay prepared (and I do!!) but that post got so much more attention than I originally thought it would so now I'm rewriting it to be a better essay (I just have the editing left tbh)

It has barely been a week since canto 8 came out but I want to write a whole bunch of Hong Lu fics already, from angst to horror to fluff to crack to literally every single genre there is.

Hi hi dear followers I'm still alive! I've been extremely busy with uni + a commission for the past... year 💀 and I still am but I come bearing gifts!

First of all, my og fans will remember this fic but I have (cross)posted one of my fics to AO3 and it will hopefully get updated there! Click right here for those who want to read it, it's a k corp!Hong Lu x scientist!reader fic.

Of course I'm planning on adding my other fics there as well but right now I'd like to focus on Canary of a Raven so it'll be the only fic on there. (Until of course impulsivity strikes me and I crosspost my other fics as well)

Second of all, I have gotten a new brainrot so here's a little sneak peek to some of my upcoming one-shots 👀

And yes two of these are requests, I promise I haven't forgotten I just have more important stuff to do and I'll get to all your requests eventually (even if it takes me 10 years trusttt)

Here's a little piece of writing from a Hong Lu fic I'm working on! It's a mix of angst and fluff (with a good ending maybe) but it will come out next year (I think) so don't get your hopes up.

I'm a little busy right now so I haven't been able to look at my inbox but I'll get to writing requests asap!

Hong Lu's smile faltered at your answer. "I… see…"

His current expression barely differed from the one he previously had, so why was it that seeing him look at you like this caused your heart to ache? You've only known him for a month, and yet, seeing him like this still filled you with a sense of dread that felt oh-so-familiar. One that you couldn't put a finger on why you felt that way.

"Are you okay?" you couldn't help but ask.

The melancholic look in his eyes didn't waver, growing stronger instead at your question. He tried to smile, more than he already was. It might've fooled anyone else, but you could tell clear as day that he was still shaken up by your words.

"It's nothing that you should worry about, don't worry~"

It definitely wasn't nothing.

But what could you do if he refused to open up to you?

He grasped your hands in his and brought them close to his chest, near his heart. He seemed to notice that you weren't fooled by his smiles, you assumed so at least, because why else would he continue to try smiling to the best of his ability; to smile in a way that would reassure you that there really wasn't anything wrong.

It wasn't working.

"Besides," he began, interweaving his fingers with yours; his every move followed by a slight tremble that you would've missed had he not been holding your hands so tightly, "As long as you're happy, I'm happy. If you're worried about me, then all you have to do is be happy and I'll be happy too, okay?"

Why did those words feel so, so terribly familiar?

I know that Limbus exists solely to fund PM's other projects and that making seasonal ids unshardable until after a week (really not that long of a wait imo) is just them trying to make even more money.

But like,, I'm telling you all, PM would make sooo much more money if they shipped merch internationally instead of trying to get people to gamble more. They already have merch in Korea and Japan, I don't see why they can't ship internationally since they clearly have the money for it.

I should work on putting out more chapters for my dieci Hong Lu fic but motivation has been low lately 😔

Also for those wondering the status of the requests: I have 2 completed already, I just have one more before them that I want to finish up (and one that looks like it's going to be pretty long too) before I post those two, so that's where all the delay is coming from.

I'd also appreciate it if tumblr didn't randomly delete requests from my inbox. It happened with a request for Outis (which came back later thank god) and now it happened to a Sinclair one. I write them all down separately so I know what people want just in case but this is really annoying me 😒😒
