im actually sick and tired of all the bs on this app and I'm being fr.

there has been sm drama, and trust, I've had my fair share of it and this seems hypocritical but it gets to a point where you get tired of the shit.

im tired of getting into drama, ive told my close friends on here that, I've said it to myself so many times and I've been actively avoiding getting into shit that could get me into drama.

it's fucking draining.

im sure you guys are tired of seeing the drama, and i can understand why. you come on this app to get away from drama, you come on this app to kick your feet and giggle with your friends.

it seems like tumblr has become a cesspool of copying, hate, expose acct, and wild ass anons.

i wanna give my thoughts on all of those.

copying:

i really don't get it. like actually. you have writers on here who work hard, spending days trying to work out a fic/new au, only for someone to copy the idea with no credit, or they flat out copy and paste. its so frustrating and im being fr when i ask, what do you get out of copying like that? do you get off on upsetting people or getting them riled up? do you enjoy when you get attention even though it's negative? it doesn't make sense and i can't wrap my head around it. writing may come easier to some people and for others it doesn't, that does not give you an excuse to act like that. if you like an idea sm, ask the OG writer if its ok for you to write your own version. if you don't want to ask for reasons idk, at least tag our user or just put the link to the fic to give credit. its really not that hard! most of the drama on this app does come from people copying and not giving credit, it gets the writers in a tizzy, the anons get wild, and suddenly the OG writer is the bad guy.

expose accts:

we have all seen these expose accts and had run-ins with them. i truly don't know why they exist because usually they are made to hate on one person. you don't have to like that person, you arent obligated to like anyone. but making a hate acct for her or simply sending in hate to these accts about her and others is actually insane. these accts are so fucking draining and its like a constant back and forth because most of the shit they post about, its shit that has been addressed A LONG TIME AGO or hold no weight for the convo they are attempting to have. with that being said, its also people you will get into with on here, that will make posts about it and suddenly they allow all the hate in the world to be sent to them and they answer it. am i projecting? yeah i am, because this shit makes no sense. you want tumblr to be fun but you're making posts actively hating on me and others? you want tumblr to be fun but you're shading people and threatening to expose these people as if this is middle school? and let me just throw this in here, i really do hate when i have a bad interaction with someone and they post about it and suddenly ALLLLL of tumblr has been scorned by me when in reality idk half of you bitches nor know you by username nor have i had a convo with you. so how have i scorned you? the answer is most of yall havent been scored by me or others, you may just not like us and it's fine. but learn to hate in silence, otherwise drama is all we are going to see.

CHILLEEEEEEEE, let me tell yall something. i truly do believe the wild ass anons are the main people starting shit and let me tell you why. anons have the ability to hide behind a damn screen, the drama hungry ones literally get off on going into peoples inbox and sending hate about that person, or other people. they know who will react and who wont. ive had anons come in my inbox saying someone copied me, and then i go check and there is literally nothing there. I've had people come in my inbox saying wild shit to me because they feel like they can cuz they arent saying it with their chest off anon. its crazy because truly, what makes them think they could act that way? it's not ok and it's draining seeing so many people hide behind a screen and hate just because they think its funny. ALSO, THE TYPE OF HATE PEOPLE GET IS CRAZY!!! something that has always annoyed me was when people talk about big blogs is , yall have certain ppl in mind but you don't say who you are talking about when talking shit, but yall make it so obvious and that leads to people going in your inbox talking shit, and then the big blogs get upset and either act out or block, AND THEN YALL GET UPSET FOR GETTING BLOCKED!!! LIKE THIS SHIT IS INSANE!!! ITS ONE BIG LOOP OF STRAIGHT SHIT FROM THE BUTT AND ITS ANNOYING. a block is not that serious and i hate when a big blog blocks somebody, its like fucking presidents day and suddenly its a big deal and everyone HAS TO KNOW, when in reality, no one does! the same way yall block people on insta, twitter, snap, fucking Pinterest, WE CAN DO THAT ON TUMBLR AND IT SHOULDNT BE A FUCKING ISSUE!!! truth be told, there is no perfect solution to anything but this is what i came up with. for copying i want to say, just be original. even if you feel like your writing isn't good which makes you want to copy, KEEP WRITING ORIGINAL SHIT!!! there will be someone out there who fucks with it and will beg for more. if you truly do wanna do your version of someone else's fic, just ask. ik for a fact i will say yes and reblog and hype you up! for expose accts, block them and move on. lets stop entertaining them. they don't deserve our time and they feed off the attention. less attention they get, less of them will pop up. of course ppl will still interact and send them stuff about people, but we gotta learn to just ignore. for hate and anons, same with exposing accts. block and move on. i would tell everyone to turn off anons forever but that wouldn't be fair to the anons that actually act right and they don't deserve to have that taken from them. for big blogs what i can say in regards to big blogs is, lets do better for the other writers on this app. if you don't already, start interacting with smaller writers and hyping them up!!! ik when i was just starting out that their words of encouragement would have helped me a lot! as for the people who dont like the bigger blogs or wish we would do more, you don't have to like us, but don't send hate about us to others. truth be told it makes us not want to interact with anyone but our close friends and that's when drama starts and the community starts dividing.

i want better for this community, and again, i have had my fair share of drama. i can own up to that, but i can understand and see when change needs to happen and I'm ready for that change and I'm ready to get back to being a fun community.

So with sevenart.ai accounts stealing art here on Tumblr and running it through an AI image generator, do we now have to block everyone who reblogs an art post with the exact same tags the OG post has?

Because this happens at times with my posts and I am aware that add-ons like Xkit and similar have the option to copy-paste the OG tags in a reblog.

I'm also aware that the accounts that do the stealing, AI generation, and reuploads of the AI-altered stolen work aren't exactly bots because they block, mute, and at times interact with accounts they stole from. So it's difficult to tell if they are a bot or not.

So uuh.. yeah, if I block you in the (near) future because you copy-pasted the exact same tags as my OG post with your reblog, then you can blame AI idiots like SevenArt for that.

Saw a couple Feysand stans send you anons and thought I'd join in, as a Feysand stan who has given up in engaging with this fandom because its so filled with people who don't even like the books, think the OG trilogy don't matter, and have elevated certain side characters to deity status and expect BB, sjm and the whole fandom to fall to their knees in agreement. You'd think ACOSF wasn't about Nesta but about Gw*n the almighty, wielding Made weapons alongside Cass and Az. You'd think it was Gw*n that saved all of Prythian and was give the powers of all seven courts. And you'd think it was Gw*n that was like the sun itself and had the spymaster all desperate and pathetic on his knees. Somehow, they've turned her into Nesta, Feyre and Elain all at once (because deep down they know who the story is about). Seriously, just let the girl cut her ribbon and chill in her library in peace!

I am so glad that neither BB nor SJM give a damn about what a few thousand (if even that) active people in a toxic fandom has to say about a book series that has sold about a dozen million copies and has been translated into nearly 40 languages. Sometimes I just think this fandom needs to get over itself (not referring to any individuals here, there are so many reasonable people here too!).

Acotar is a decade in the making. I am so glad that a peak in fandom craziness in 2021 and onwards of people who dislike the OG trilogy and most the characters has no bearing on where BB is spending their money, which is on the story Sarah is telling. And which millions of people actually like. And which is about characters she loves and which will always be based on the OG trilogy. And which obviously is heading to Elain and Azriel next.

Seriously, I don't understand how you Elriels can stand arguing with people who think three platonic interactions and a line in a bonus chapter erase several books of Elriel. Perhaps you've been surrounded by this for so long that to you, it doesn't seem as silly as it is. But it looks like a clown show from the outside. Not Elriels, but I mean, the anti Elriels make so little sense, and yet people argue with them as if their arguments are worth that. They're not. It's honestly so ridiculous it's not worthy of more than a raised eyebrow, Azriel style. It blows my mind the lengths people go to willingly delude themselves and then demand others to treat their fabrications with respect. And it also blows my mind that people actually treat their fabrications as if they're worthy of being met with serious arguments. I'd just go "nice headcanon" and move on. But that is probably easy for me to say when I'm not surrounded by it. I'm happy for you all that it'll be over soon at least.

Congratulations in advance on that announcement by the way, because it's been coming since that first dinner when Elain nearly stabbed Cassian with a fork and Azriel went that's my girl and probably nearly came in his pants. I was hooked on Feysand the whole series but saw Elriel coming a mile away (thought they made more narrative sense than Nessian even, and I love Nessian).

Yeah, its why I stopped posting on TikTok. It was such a negative place for people that liked the OG series, OG characters, feysand etc. Its filled with the hardcore Nesta/Anti IC stans that think the valkryies are the new IT group and the following books will focus on them and acosf is the only important book and the previous books were trash, it can honestly get so draining.

Right? The gwynification of the fandom has given Gwyn so much importance, its crazy. Its like everything is about Gwyn and how she’ll do all of these crazy side quests and become besties and a family member to the IC and be the best gf towards Azriel. Its so hard to remember sometimes she’s just nesta’s best friend who Mass didn’t consider relevant enough to include in the OG series or even acofas the bridge between the two series…books where Mass has left clues for the upcoming books. Her stans have rlly inflated Gwyns importance all because she showed up for a few pages in one limited edition bonus. Its like the ending of acosf doesn’t even matter to gwynriels, they’ve forgotten the main purpose of the series which is the Archeron Sisters. They are the centre of the acotar universe and everything will come back to them…its why Nesta plays such a huge role in a gwynriel book because even they know Gwyn nor Az are as important as THE archeron family. You’re so right in saying that they’ve turned Gwyn into a mix of all the sisters. Honestly, she’s the perfect character to self-insert with which is what has happened. And in canon, Gwyn just wanted to be a valkryie and heal, making friends. All things she has accomplished.

certain people in this fandon do need to get over themselves, old news sure - but it speaks volume that *those* people had the audacity to think they’re important/right over the literal publishers of the series, arguing with them��over what’s literally written in the books therefore canon. Like. Just imagine actually sitting there and picking a fight with THE publishing house for ACOTAR. It goes to show their attitude and how terrible it is - im so glad BB disnt give into their tamtrums and instead made a funny reel having a dig at them. BB’s silence from the fandom has allowed it to become as toxic as it is but looking at how antis are behaving, I understand now why they’ve been so silent until it was time for the announcement (hopefully).

Yes! Acotar became so famous and loved BECAUSE of the OG characters. It wad because of Feyre and Rhys - their love story and found family including Nesta and Elain. That is where the money lies, what majority of the people want. The story was always going to revolve around the OG cast with new characters playing small roles. And right now, looking at everything together- its very clear the next story is elriels.

honestly I also don’t know how we’ve managed to survive 4 years of antis telling us 3 pages of a limited edition bonus + a few platonic interactions outweight the countless elriel scenes and foreshadowing which started early as acomaf. It sounds so ridiculous when you put it this way - elriels are literally arguing with people who are going off on assumptions and misinterpretation. But since gwynriels and eluciens are the most popular ships - their nonsense outweighs elriels sense because bottom line is - elriel were never popular in the fandom. People didnt like them together and elucien/gwynriel have given alternatives. In my experience, most elucien/gwynriel stans dont even care about their ships particularly, they just dont want elriel. And it all comes down to: 1) not liking Elain and believing Az deserves better and 2) wanting Lucien to get his mate so he can be happy forever

You know when something is so ridiculous that to you its silly but then you see others and they’re agreeing with it, I think it makes you doubt yourself but also it can be irritating that people are willingly being unfair and obtuse when it comes to elriel that even though you know what they’re saying is absolutely stupid and as you said, deserves nothing more then an eye brow raise - Az style, you can’t hell but answer with logic hoping they see the light but they dont and you’re just left feeling confused and even more irritated because how can someone be that….delusional to put it in a polite way. I think that is how most elriels feel, we know what they say isnt worth our time but refute it anyway hoping that maybe one day they’ll see logic. However, I will say that I’ve seen less elriels argue w antis over their takes because 4 years later and with an announcement looming so close, its just not worth it anymore. Everyone’s picked their ships, no minds are getting changed so save the energy.

This is SUPER interesting because the head housemaiden does NOT appear in sasasap at all, so this quote is actually referring to the third comic! The "something's breaking, something's failing, rotting" is a fascinating fragment as it is copied word for word from the third comic to isat. So like, how does this Siffrin know this.... Prologue Frin has never heard it before.... We see how prologue frin sees the ghosts through the third Sadness death

(Sometimes, when you loop back here....) (In the corner of your eye, you can sometimes see someone that looks just like you.) (Is it a you from another loop? Remnants of your past failures?) (Are you going crazy?) (May they succeed where you cannot.)

But.... Seeing as prologue frin has never heard that, i wonder if this means the ghosts represent comic siffrin instead? All of the ghosts in isat don't have text, you can't catch them, but i do wonder if they're meant to represent prologue siffrin instead,,,, that all of them are different siffrins appearing to one another as they become more alike...

notably, isat siffrin does actually think differently of them!

Loop (hm1): ...An image of yourself, walking around the House... Loop (lol4): Maybe they're... Reflections? Remnants of your past loops? I wouldn't know. ("Remnants"?) (Odile uses the same word to describe the Sadnesses...) Siffrin (hide1): "Could it be a Sadness?" Loop (lol5): Ha! You see a copy of you walking around, and you assume it's a Sadness? Loop (happy1): Are you sad, stardust? Loop (hm1): I'm gonna go ahead and say they're linked to your loops. Loop (teehee1): If they are, you might see them more and more as you loop through time...

Loop still calls them remnants, and Siffrin is just. Saying that's a Sadness. This is pretty obvious foreshadowing to MDP with the steel chair in act 5, but you gotta wonder....

The "remnants of your past failures" works out well considering that the sasasap ghosts only start showing up after you've getting a normal ending, meaning the minimum where the game can be sure that you've seen siffrin die before.

I also do find it notable that the ghosts just start laughing at you if you catch them more than five times. By that time, they know you're here to stay, another ghost, just like them <3

anyways. yeah! that's the sasasap ghosts! unused dialogue is pretty hard to actually identify as unused (i didnt figure out one king convo in isat is unused until like, last month) because the main way you figure out that they are is by knowing their conditions are impossible to achieve or by finding them in a place that's inaccessible.

this applies to the raisins convo, as that is on a test page! you'll never see raisins in game, and it's also unfinished because it doesnt have any character portraits. otherwise it really is just "okay so switch 192 that enables this conversation actually never gets flipped in the whole game so you will never see this"

thanks to Issue on discord i do have an actual list of unused switches and variables now (it's impossible to get this data from just rpgmaker itself lmao) so that should occur. less frequently? otherwise i kinda just go by my insane game knowledge to figure out where switches get flipped by hand. that's why i have spreadsheets for this shit.

You worried about Matt and Mello a lot. It was obvious to anyone that their habits were barely healthy and that they’d probably be dead already if someone hadn’t been there to help them. Matt was extremely cocky and laid back, which often led to mistakes, while Mello had a rather short temper and hated having people questioning him.

But right now, all you cared about was going to bed. You had been up for days having to plan with Matt and Mello and having to deal with everyone. At this point, you were sure you’d snap if something bad happened. Mello sat on the sofa to your left reading something while eating chocolate while Matt sat by your right playing one of his games and chewing on tobacco.

“I’m heading off to bed now.” You said while organizing the papers strewn over the table into a nice pile.

“Alright, goodnight Y/N,” Matt replied without looking up from his game. Mello just let out a hum of acknowledgment while he kept reading. You then left off to your room with your stuff.

Once in your room, you dropped everything on your table and changed into your sleepwear. You then lay in bed and drifted off to sleep.

During your sleep, you felt something nudging you and then laying next to you. You let out a quiet groan as you slowly opened your eyes. The first thing you saw was a head of brown hair. Once your brain woke up, you processed that Matt was laying on your bed and hugging your waist while his head lay on your chest. You let out a silent chuckle, to which Matt dug his head deeper into your chest. You ran your fingers through his head then laidlaid a kiss on the top of it.

A few minutes later, your door opened again and light edpoured through it. You slightly turned your head to see who it was and saw Mello out of his usual leather outfit and in a much more comfortable cotton shirt and sweatpants. He then walked up to you and Matt and sat on your bed.

“So he got here before me, huh.” He mumbled.

“Yeah, he’s been herehere for a while.” You replied, keeping your voice down so as to not wake Matt up.

“Lucky bastard, he got the best spot,” Mello grumbled to which you let a quiet giggle.

“Come and cuddle with us Mello,” You looked at him, “It’s weird without you.”

“Alright, alright, quit nagging me.” He replied. He then laid down behind you both and snuggled into your neck. You smiled at him, “I know you love us anyway.”

The Digimon in the Rider AU

While I can't decide which 02 kid or Wallace I want to do next for the profiles and such... Let's talk about the Digimon in this AU!?

As said previously, those critters – Digital Monsters (short: Digimon) – have their own world which is parallel to the human world, and is linked to the technology from humans. They absorb information from the internet and digital devices, developing themselves into different forms and gaining several abilities based on the information.

Which is basically what the mainline original franchise lore is about, I think. The only difference between the OG Advverse and this AU is that the digimon are not exactly "the other self" or "the reflection/embodiment of one's heart" - but they can sync their hearts and minds after forming a bond. A digimon and a human, in order to have a fully good bond and be able to tame a digimon's power, must be matched - yeah, pretty much like the "BEST MATCH" thing from Build. Except here, instead of combining organic and inorganic stuff, you get... digital life and human life matches.

Those who don't have a good combo/match with a digimon OR human... Might not be fully in control of such a power. Matches/combos are found by trial and error, but some people or digimon are lucky enough to find a good combination the first time, like Daisuke and Chibimon/Lighdramon.

To those bad matches/combos, their digimon power might go out of control. But this is not Rui and Ukkomon’s case though. More about this later.

There are three ways to use a digimon's power - turning it into a weapon, using its evolution as a vehicle, and turning it into a human's armor - in addition to the usual traditional way of the Digimon franchise, which is for the digimon to participate in the battles themselves.

The weapon form, however, is exactly what I had in mind with the Digimon Weapons, except that it's the Digimon taking the form of a weapon - or an object that could help the human partner protect themselves. Their naming sense is Digimon's Name [- mon] + Weapon or Object's Name - Example: BigUkko Hammer; Pucchi Spear, Horus Axe, etc.

The riding form is the usual "riding on your Digimon partner's back or shoulder" method. Lighdramon is Daisuke/Lightnimon's "bicycle" when it's not being used as a weapon (Lighdra-Glaive) to fight the enemy Digimon.

Then the armor form is when the Digimon transforms into an armor or fuse with the human partner, and then transforms into another Digimon evolutionary form. Ukkomon doesn't belong in this category as a whole, even though he was able to take control of Rui's rider form - Kamen Rider Root. The armor form is more common between the enemies than the Riders/good guys by the way. By the way, do not mistake this form with the Digimon’s Armor Form from the franchise.

Some digimon simply devolve into a lesser form - Baby or Child (Rookie) - to conserve energy for future use. In this case, Chibimon is Lighdramon's lesser form (a baby level, to be exact), while Ukkomon is a child level (and his true form is BigUkkomon) - as examples.

Those who can become Kamen Riders are those who have a Digivice Key or D-3 Key that can be plugged into the Digivice/D-3 Driver. They copy the data of the digimon and transform it into a Rider armor, which is why the digimon can still keep its physical/standard form instead.

The Digi-Rider form has a psychic link to their digimon partner, so both can sync up in battle, or in the case of Ukkomon, take control of the Rider's body and protect them from danger (in the case of Rui-Ukkomon, this is called "Punisher Mode"). If a Bad Match/Combo is turned into a Digi-Rider, there's a good chance that they'll get out of control of either the Digimon or the human, as one of them might simply overpower the other.

The case of Rui and Ukkomon is a peculiar case: They don't seem to fit the "bad match/combo" category, but Rui definitely has trouble controlling Ukkomon's power - so Root is mostly Ukkomon controlling Rui's Rider form. BUT! Ukkomon isn't a bad digimon either, and he's a good guy. The difference between Root and Lightni is that Root has no mercy for the enemy digimon, while Lightni prefers to break the Demon Lords' control over the enemy and spare their lives.

When a human or Digi-Rider is in sync with their digimon, their eyes will change to the color of their Digi-Partner, and some markings based on them will appear on the human's face. (Yes, like the glass mosaic in Wataru's face and the Fangires' faces in Kiva).

In this example, Daisuke/Lightni has the helmet markings of Lighdramon and red eyes... Rui/Root has BigUkkomon's teeth and neon green eye (his other eye is injured).

Yeah I probably could’ve worded that better in my post bc they aren’t exact copies of Marcy and Pb, obviously, but I still think Gumlee in Fionna and Cake is supposed to be at least a parallel to Bubbline before they broke up

Like you can’t just say “well it’s not TECHNICALLY Bubbline so it sucks” bc that’s STILL Marcy and Pb from a different universe and is in the show paralleling things other Marcy’s and Pb’s are doing. They are showing that Bubbline is inevitable, if they can know each other they will be together in some way

So yeah they are basically genderbent pre break up Bubbline but with the differences that come with them being humans in a non magical world. If we did get to see Bubbline before they’re break up they would’ve been similar to this. They didn’t start their relationship as bitter exes who secretly miss each other, that’s just where we the viewers started seeing them. They would’ve had fluffy, domestic moments like Gumlee does that are making people scream “ITS NOT INTERESTING IF THEY ARENT EXES!!!”

Also that post is just someone saying “nuh uh they aren’t similar” it has no proof of them being completely different, unrelated, or having no connections to each other at all other than “human Hudson isn’t white” which isn’t the proof you think it is since he’s literally a demon in the og show and has no human skin tone. Unless he has a canonical human design I forgot about

so, there's a neat horror podcast called Hello From The Hallowoods. in that world indescribable entities exist, kinda like gods, and all their names follow the same convention: one syllable - tie-in - same syllable repeated. examples: Nikignik, Xyzikxyz, Zazzlezazz and so on. I really liked this convention and applied it to my one-syllable name, resulting in Esht-ar-esht. this is not what I go by but it can be used as a fancy title or a surname!

fun fact: i've never finished ayato's story quest so i was writing this blind (with the help of some voicelines/demos/teasers, this goes along with the rest of the men on this list)

reader confession: ive been seeing quite a bit of new intro posts and demo that are more than just similar to other demo (some are straightup plagiarising/copying words), and worse... those copycats end up being more popular than the original! ive talked to some readers who were shitting on the OG author for copying the copycat, when the OG had been around for years before the copier (i know at least one who sent hate to the OG author)...😬😬 like how hard is it to come up with your own thing 😬

I wouldn't say I am surprised, because you'll always have people who will do whatever it takes to get their fifteen minutes of fame, or people that are completely ignorant of what is or is not acceptable (or don't think anyone will notice or don't care to learn).

As much as I am a proponent of go write that idea even if it's been done before (with your own voice)... there's a clear line between > oh, those two have similar themes/use similar tropes which is all fine, no one has dibs on those; and > oh, those two are pretty much copies of one another from the stories, to the theme, the characters/archetype, the plot points, gameplay system, scene beats/choices, etc... which is more than sus.

Honestly, it sucks for those OG authors... It's already the wild west out there. Now they have to deal with their work being nicked, repackaged, and seeing that get more love than their own stuff (and maybe get hate in return).
