ATZ TV # the bloom beneath the frost ęâ⯠park seonghwa. ââââââââ âľ TEASER. posted: 04/23. read here.
đŹ genre: slowburn / angst / suggestive / detective!seonghwa / figure skating au / f!reader insert. đŹ prologue:
It began almost a year ago, with a bouquet of peoniesâdelicate, pale, left at your dressing room. No card. No name. Just a whisper in the form of petals, soft and subtle. At first, it felt harmless. Another admirer. Another fleeting gesture in a life lived under the cold glow of spotlights and sharpened blades. You had grown used to being adored from a distance. But this? This was different. The gifts kept coming. So did the notesâfirst sweet, then strange. Then personal. Then frightening. Details you never shared with anyone. Things only someone who was watching would know. The feeling grewâlike someone was always just out of sight, just beyond your reach. Watching. Following. Waiting. You told yourself it was nothing. That you were imagining it. That the pressure of competition, the isolation, and the weight of fame were playing tricks on your mind. But the line between admiration and obsession thinned quickly. Now, nearly a year later, the rink no longer feels like a sanctuary. The applause that once warmed you now sounds hollow. Even the iceâyour safest placeâfeels thinner with every step you take. Your performances are flawless, but your nights are restless. The shadow that lingers has a nameâthough you donât know it yet. Someone else is watching now. And youâre not alone in the dark anymore. Detective Park Seonghwa is assigned to protect you, quiet, calm, always watching from any signs of danger. Bound by duty, but haunted by eyes he hasnât seen. You stopped trusting easily. Seonghwa doesnât like to get close. But some cases arenât solved with distance. And some storiesâlike yoursâdonât begin with love. They begin with obsession.

President KIM IL SUNG the leader behind Koreaâs Miracle of Juche -special article by Dr Dermot Hudson
Once a famous English economist Professor Joan V Robinson of Cambridge University visited the Democratic Peopleâs Republic of Korea(DPRK) in 1964 .She wrote an article in the famous socialist journal âMonthly Review â that was titled âThe Korean Miracle â about the DPRK (later the mainstream media appropriated this term and used it to describe the fake economic growth in the neo-colony of south Korea ) . Describing the DPRK she wrote that âEleven years ago in Pyongyang there was not one stone standing upon another. (They reckon that one bomb, of a ton or more, was dropped per head of population.) Now a modern city of a million inhabitants stands on two sides of the wide
river, with broad tree-lined streets of five-story blocks, public
buildings, a stadium, theatres (one underground surviving from
the war) and a super-de luxe hotel. The industrial sector com
prises a number of up-to-date textile mills and a textile machinery plant
. The wide sweep of the river and little tree-clad
hills preserved as parks provide agreeable vistas. There are some
patches of small gray and white houses hastily built from rubble
but even there the lanes are clean, and light and water are
laid on. A city without slums.â
Indeed the DPRKâs achievements are truly miraculous but what was the driving force behind them ? What was the inspiration for them? The answer is that it was President KIM IL SUNG whose birth anniversary will be celebrated not only in the DPRK but across the world on the 15th of April .
President KIM IL SUNG was born into a humble peasant family during the time of Japanese colonialism but became a brilliant guerrilla commander and benevolent liberator who vanquished the Samurais who had stolen the independence of Korea . President KIM IL SUNG led the struggle for independence from an early age, forming the Down with Imperialism Union in 1926 and later the Anti-Japanese Peopleâs Guerilla Army on the 25th of April 1932 .
After liberation from Japanese imperialist rule President KIM IL SUNG built a new Peopleâs Korea on the ruins of Japanese colonialism in the late 1940s . It was not a copy of another country and not a colony or a dependency of another country but a new state based on the Juche idea that President KIM IL SUNG had authored in the days of the anti-Japanese war . The Juche Idea was not created in a library or someoneâs front room but on the battlefields of the anti-Japanese armed struggle. The Juche idea was applied in depth to the building of a new state.
President KIM IL SUNG laid down independent and original policies based on the Juche idea such as building an independent national economy . In 1947 he said that "For complete national independence and sovereignty and for national prosperity and development, one must build an independent national economy and thus firmly ensure economic independence."
Earlier in 1945 President KIM IL SUNG had laid the foundations for an independent Juche-based munitions industry at Pyongchon , which is now preserved as a revolutionary site which our delegation visited in April 2016. It was at Pyongchon that the new Juche Korea under the leadership of the great leader President KIM IL SUNG established its independent munitions industry . At first some great power chauvinists in a certain country told Korea that they should not establish its own armed forces nor have its own munitions industry. President KIM IL SUNG also insisted that the DPRK should not simply assemble weapons made by another country but should produce its own weapons . This idea goes right back to the days of the anti-Japanese armed struggle when the Korean guerrillas made the Yongil bomb. It had been hoped that the USSR would supply a hand grenade factory but for whatever reason this did not materialise. This President KIM IL SUNG was firmly convinced of the need for both an independent munitions industry and an independent national economy.
Self-sufficiency in the economy and self-reliance are twin pillars of Juche Korea.
In the late 1950 when the DPRK was just recovering from the severe destruction caused by the US imperialists during the Fatherland Liberation War the modern revisionists and great power chauvinists tried to put pressure on the DPRK to join the CMEA but it refused to do so maintaining the line of economic independence. The great leader President KIM IL SUNG defined the independent national economy as follows ;
âbuilding an independent national economy means building a diversified economy equipping it with up-to date technology and creating our solid bases of raw materials, thereby building up an all embracing economic system in which every branch is structurally interrelated so as to provide domestically most of the products of heavy and light industry and the agricultural produce needed to make the country wealthy and powerful and to improve the people's living condition"
The Soviet big-power chauvinists and modern revisionists tried to subordinate the DPRK economy to their own but President KIM IL SUNG was having none of it ,he adhered to the line of economic independence . The DPRK did not join CMEA .The big power chauvinists tried to induce the DPRK to join the CMEA by offering electricity from the Lake Baikal power station.
At that time President KIM II SUNG told them: âWe will not use electricity generated by the power station; if we become deÂpendent on electricity from you and then you fail to supply it, then we would suffer greatly; if we have funds for transmisÂsion cables from the power station to our country, it would be more effective for us to use these funds to build another hydroelectric power station in our country. It has become more clear today that our decision to build socialism by our own efforts on the principle of self-reliance and not enter the CMEA was quite correct"
President KIM IL SUNG showed truly super-human energy in guiding the building of Juche-based socialism in Peopleâs Korea .He worked day and night to guide the construction of socialism in the DPRK . He even worked on holidays and at weekends . President KIM IL SUNG visited 20,000 different units in the Democratic Peopleâs Republic of Korea (DPRK) travelling more than 578,000 kilometres which is the equivalent of travelling around the globe many times . The number of days of President KIM IL SUNGâs field guidance totalled 8,650 from the period after Koreaâs liberation in 1945 to the end of his life in 1994 . This works out at 176 days per year , an incredible figure .
Therefore on April 15 we pay tribute to President KIM IL SUNG, the leader who created miracles in building socialism.

â CHEER UP TRAINING: AUDITION RESULTS !
once the auditions are done, nothing is heard for the next few weeks as the panelists and executives of axis labels gather around to view each and every audition tape. they take into account feedback theyâve received from coaches regarding each traineeâs attitude and progress and have come to a final decision.
the following trainees are asked to gather in an interview room at the AXIS LABELS BUILDING on WEDNESDAY, 25TH JUNE.Â
Han Yuwol
Yeom Sarang
Sato Kou
Shin Eunbin
Jung Joomi
Jo Hyeran
Claudine Rhee
Chu Hanna
seated around a long oval table, are a few executives, a producer and team from SBS TV, SEO RAN and the director of axis labels, KIM JAEKYUNG, herself. from the group alone, itâs rather obvious that something serious is to be discussed. each trainee is ushered to a seat.
âas you all know, axis labels is planning to expand ourselves beyond music, and weâre partaking in producing dramas now,â jaekyung begins. âafter careful discussion, weâve decided to partner with SBS on this wonderful new journey. this is something we have spent months planning, and have put a lot of time and effort into. the last remaining piece of the puzzle was getting talented actors to put on the screen - the face of axis labelâs first drama.â
thereâs a pause to let everything sink in. âwe have watched your auditions and consulted with your coaches and ceos. the eight of you have been handpicked to star in our first drama.â the coaches and a few staff members clap.
âiâll let the drama production team handle the explanations, but this will be a long project, one that requires your dedication and focus. we wonât allow for any mishaps or mistakes.â
the producer stands up next, and bows to introduce himself. ânice to meet you all. i am SHIN YUNHO, the producer. itâs a pleasure to meet all of you.â introductions are made amongst the team, before yunho continues. âas jaekhyun said, weâve gone through all your auditions, and have decided to hand pick the eight of you for this drama,â he turns on the projector, and a powerpoint slide is flashed on the screen. âlet me give you a brief introduction on the drama.â
the drama that the trainees will be starring in is CHEER UP.Â
SYNOPSIS: the drama follows DO HAEYI, a student at yonhee university. she is a bright and diligent person. though because of her family's poor financial situation, she places a priority on making money rather than school. one day, do haeyi suddenly joins cheering squad Theia. she only joins the club for money. the cheering squad has existed for 50 years at yeonhee university. while participating in the cheering squad, do haeyi experiences the joy of campus life and meets various people from Theia including PARK JUNGWOO, JIN SUNHO, TAE CHOHEE, JOO SUNJA and BAE YOUNGWOONG.Â
cheer up is a mystery campus romance set in the backdrop of a cheering squad where worry is useless in the moment, but splendid and precious romance is.
yunho continues to explain the drama and the setting. going into great detail the plans that the production team has, and a brief summary of each character.
âwe have already decided on your roles, and ask that you try your best to study and learn your character before our first filming commences.â
the roles are as follows:
Do Haeyi - Jo Hyeran
Park Jungwoo - Sato Kou
Jin Sunho - Han Yuwol
Joo Sunja - Claudine Rhee
Tae Chohee - Chu Hanna
Choi Sooyoon - Shin Eunbin
Im Yongil - Yeom Sarang
Kim Minjae - Jung Joomi
âwe have about a month before we start filming. before then, there are those of you that definitely need EXTRA TRAINING before we can get you on camera,â this time, itâs jaekyungâs turn to speak. she passes a folder to a training coach and continues, âfor the next month, you will be given extra training for the areas that you lack. not just that, but this drama is all about TEAMWORK. and i want you all to get along and show the bond of a team. to do that, weâll have you all train together from axis labels during the duration of the month as well. so attend your extra training diligently, and get ready to start shooting by august. donât disappoint me.â
with that you are ushered out of the meeting room, and pulled to another training room for further discussions with your coaches.Â
âyou all heard jaekyung, right?â a coach says, âfrom now on, itâs all or nothing for the drama. itâll be a very busy time for all of you. we start shooting in august, so the preparations are being made as we speak. letâs all work our hardest, okay?â
all your numbers are given to the coach as he starts a âCHEER UPâ drama groupchat with the eight of you, and a company representative from each company for ease of communication. âweâll be communicating through your company representatives and through this groupchat as well. any schedules, photoshoots, and what not, will be sent through here. and if you have any questions, feel free to shoot us a message as well. and oh, of course, while filming, feel free to send any photos that you like! weâll be together for a while.â
[ OOC ]
congratulations on being chosen for the drama! as this is axis labelâs first drama, a lot of thought and preparations are currently being made by the company ic to ensure that this is a success. each company will have a COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE that will handle the communication between trainees and the production team.
the drama chosen is âcheer upâ, a 16-episode drama originally aired by sbs in 2022. if you would like to know more about the drama you may read the synopsis here. similarly, the drama that the trainees will be filming will be 16-episodes as well.
trainees chosen for the drama are PROHIBITED from posting anything on social media regarding shooting until after the drama is officially announced to the public.
as stated, filming will officially begin in august. before that, trainees are expected to brush up on some skills that are deemed important for the drama. to do so, the company has spent resources on giving the trainees extra training on selected areas. certain trainees will be asked to focus on two areas. as of now, the trainees are also expected to train exclusively at the AXIS LABELS BUILDING. please find below the skills that each trainee will be focusing on for the month (4-week period):

âDad, please, this is all I have left!â Y/Nâs dad didnât care, he snatched the few bills she clenched in her palms, then shoved her to the floor.
âI donât care. I need it more, you brat.â
Her father left her on the cold hard floor without another thought as he exited her home.
This all started five years ago, when her mother died and her father became a huge gambling addict. Every bit of death insurance money that was left for their daughter was stolen by the father for excessive spending.
Whatever, his ass can forget it.
Y/N had to return to work if she wanted to keep her home, rent and bills were definitely no joke. With a sigh and groan, she grabbed her apron and hat. As much as she hated her customers, she had a good job. It paid well and gave her a nice home: small, but nice. The best part is that itâs away from her fathers run down house.
Oh the family home..it used to be so beautiful. Y/Nâs mother always kept it so extravagant and beautiful, her father actually built it for her mother. Alas, once she died, Y/Nâs dad let it fall into disrepair. Holes in the floor, broken windows, no working appliances. It truly was just, not hospitable in any way shape or form.
The walk to the car was miserable, with her pockets robbed of the last cash she had, her bank account stripped clean of its currency. Y/N hated her father in these final minutes to her car, âPiece of shit, hate his ass.â
Her car struggled to start, pissing her off even more. Her hands smacked against the steering wheel and she let out an agonizing scream. Tears streamed down her face that signified her further frustration. Why? Why not was her life like this? Y/N stepped out of her car with a slam of the door. Bus transposition it is. She could only count on the money she made tonight to make it back home. Her bus card only had enough for one ride.
Y/N grabbed her coat before heading back outside to the bus station, it better not be packed. Her day was already shitty and she didnât need to be jostled around by people on the way to work.
The moment she stepped onto the bus and scanned her card, only then could she breathe a sigh of relief. There was no one on the bus which gave her momentary tranquility. A peaceful silence if you must.
After the jostling bus ride and arriving to work, Y/N prepared for a long day ahead of her. Hopefully having no shitty customers and ending the day with a good pay.
She needs it.
About six hours later, she was clocked out of work with some cash in her pocket, she had made about one hundred and twenty four dollars. It wasnât much, but it was enough to get her home and maybe something ordered to eat. Tomorrow's payment would have to go to rent no matter what. She absolutely cannot afford to be homeless.
It had turned dark outside on the way home which she didnât mind but alas, men. She never had to worry about that but she still worried regardless.
With her home in sight, she let out another sigh of relief and stepped inside. Why was it so dark? She knows she left the lights on. She was sure she left them on. Y/N was about to bolt when hands grabbed her and the lights turned on.
Three men resided in her home entrance and she panicked, âWho the hell are you people and why are you in my home?â She tried her hardest to break away from the manâs hold, she couldnât see what they looked like and that scared her.
A short one with orange hair pushed himself off the couch with a frown, âYouâre not Mark..â His face grew cold, âMight I ask who you are instead?â
Y/N could only scowl before giving in, âIâm his daughter. What do you want with my father?â
âWell, you see, he owes us a hefty bit of money. He listed this place as his home but heâs not here. Do you know where he is?â He came face to face with the girl as he scanned her body up and down. Quite the specimen indeed, he thought.
Y/N shook her head, âWhy the hell would I know where that deadbeat is? Heâs nothing but trouble and continues to steal my money.â
This made the man laugh, the others stiffening.
âOh, yeah, sounds just like him.â He thought for a moment before nodding to himself, âWell, guess weâre gonna have to take you instead! Maybe we can lure him out with you.â
Before she could protest and scream for help, something was bashed against her head and she fell to the floor in a blackout.
Time flew by quickly.
The moment she woke up, she realized she was in a cell, her body wrapped in a tight rope and her legs barred together tightly.
Y/N began to cry, of course her father would get her in this situation. What a dickweed.
A light quickly flashed into the dark room, someone stepped in.
âOh, good. Youâre awake.â The voice was monotone, âCaptain wants to see you.â The sounds of keys jingling rattled her ears, swearing she had a concussion.
She was quickly yanked up and taken outside of the cell, âDo not attempt to flee, I will just shove you back in there with nothing to eat.â
Y/N gave in and let him take her upstairs. She was astonished by his beauty once they reached the light. No, no, do not think that way, she thought to herself. She was kidnapped.
She was taken to a room that was secluded from the rest, chandeliers lining the hallway as she walked, well, was forced down. Still, a beautiful place that astonished her.
Once she was shoved into the room and the door slammed behind her, only then could she look up from where she fell.
The other man stood up from his seat and helped her stand up, âI told you to be gentle, Jongho. Follow my orders next time or you know damn well what happens.â
âYes, Hongjoong, sir, Iâm sorry.â The voice spoke from behind the girl.
This guy was the boss?
âIâm Hongjoong, Iâm the leader of ateez and youâre in our home. You can thank your father for that.â Hongjoong gently brought Y/N to a seat and sat her down, sending shivers down her spine.
âWhat do I have to do with my father? Heâs not going to rescue me. He only cares about his money.â He didnât like those words but quickly gathered his cool.
âNo matter, fathers always come back if they want to escape our wrath.â Hongjoong cleared his throat before he stood up once more, âYouâll be staying with us until he makes an appearance or pays us back.â
She knew neither was going to happen. Sheâd be stuck here forever until the day she died.
Tears lined her eyes as she tried to fight them back, âThen you should just kill me.â
Hongjoong laughed in such a maniacal way that it scared Y/N, âI wonât be doing that either, youâre too pretty to kill. I like you.â He wasnât sending any red flags but still, he scared Y/N.
âFine.â
âGood girl. Jongho, take her to the room I had prepared and have the maids clean her up and feed her.â With a wave of his hand, Y/N was back to being yanked around, âBe gentle, dammit!â His fist smacked against the desk and Jongho was frightened once more, being more careful than he had before.
When the two of them were out of sight, Jongho was harsh once again, âI donât like you. I donât see why Captain has such an interest in you, I wouldâve just killed you if I was in his position.â
Y/N couldnât say anything, she was too scared, too afraid to die in all honesty. She could only wonder what would happen to her home, her job, everything she had. Would she just be reported as missing? What would happen? Would anyone even care?
âYouâll be staying in here.â She was shoved into a room once again but maids rushed to her this time, helping her to the bed, almost as if they were also afraid of Hongjoong.
She didnât blame them.
Y/N didnât even fight back, she let them undress her, too hollow of shell at the moment. They led her to a prepared bath, it was..big. Too big.
They helped her inside and began washing her body before she shouted, âI can do it myself, thank you.â The maids didnât scamper off unfortunately.
âWeâre so sorry, but Mr Kim wants us doing this. We have to.â They spoke with such a frightening tone, almost as if they were gonna get their heads chopped off on a stand.
They scrubbed her body with such ease and care, not wanting to hurt the girl. Too scared to do so. Then again, they havenât had another girl in the house in so long. It was nice.
Once they were done, they had her step out, drying and dressing her in a gown. Something she normally would never wear, alas she has no choice unfortunately. If this is what the man wanted her to wear then so be it.
The several maids took their leave for a moment and Y/N took that as her chance to escape. She bolted out of the bathroom, out of the room, then into the hallway. Her heavy breaths carried her in a panic, but what she didnât expect was to run in a hard chest.
Y/N screamed in defeat as they grabbed her tight. She recognized the hold as the person who captured her home.
âJust where do you think youâre going?â The voice snickered in such a mimicking tone, âMm, captain is gonna love to hear about this.â
Y/N stared up into his eyes, yet another beautiful man and this one was definitely tall.
âYou do look delicious.â However, he shrugged and dragged her back into the room, âIâm Mingi, though, next time you try to escape, I wonât be so lenient.â The door was slammed as Mingi left her in the cold and dark room once more.
Y/N could only cry as she came to the conclusion she was never leaving this place.
Ever.

MECHANICS!
here are the groups for save the citizen. after plotting with your group, you can go about this event any way you want; you can plan the fight and write solos where the same things happen from different points of view, or you can write a thread/threads the olâ fashioned way. though everyoneâs name is listed here, you are not required to write for this event, but at the very least, plot with your groupmates! in the event that someone in your group is inactive or unresponsive to plotting, you are free to proceed without them and headcanon their actions after 48 hours of waiting for a response.
HOW IT WORKS! the matchâs heroes and villains are announced through the speaker, their faces appearing on the screen. the players, wearing sleek black long-sleeved uniform jumpsuits that are designed to act like armor, are escorted into the arena, then the doors are closed. minute one: the game starts. the referee, a professor or staff member sitting on an elevated platform on one side of the field, blows the whistle and the mannequin chants âsave me! save me!â heroes and villains are free to start going about the match any way they want. they can use their powers however they want. (of course, the referee will issue warnings or stop the match if things escalate too much.) minute two: the mannequin drops two feet closer to the incinerator and chants âsave me! save me!â minute three: the mannequin drops two feet closer to the incinerator and chants âsave me! save me!â the game ends when the heroes save the citizen at any point in the game, or when the citizen is incinerated after minute three. it is also possible for the game to end if the judge stops it on account of someone being seriously injured. a whistle is blown to signal the end of the game. the referee announces whether heroes or villains won. the players are escorted out, then the field is prepared for the next match.
WHO WINS? either the group or the main blog can determine the winner of the match. if you want to decide among yourselves, reply to this post with your group and your selected winner (ex. GROUP B, HEROES WIN). if you want the main blog to decide for you, reply to this post with your group and âundecidedâ (ex. GROUP A, UNDECIDED). if you choose to do this, the main will contact a member of your group and tell them who wins so you can plot accordingly. ONLY ONE MEMBER PER GROUP SHOULD COMMENT!
REMEMBER TO REPLY TO THIS POST WITH YOUR SELECTED WINNERÂ BEFORE WRITING ABOUT THE MATCHES.

NEO TV # i like me better when i'm with you ęâ⯠jung jaehyun.
ââââââââ epilogue: in another lifeâand this one too.
đŹ genre: slowburn / angst / suggestive / gang au / rich kid au / e2l
đŹ warnings none. this is the peace all of you were waiting for. this is pure fluff, no more angst. read chapter 10 before this. đŹ word count: 2.8k
Calgary, Canada.
Life was nothing more than the sum of the choices you made.
And while Jaehyun regretted most of the choices that had led him down the darkest paths, he was grateful for the one he had made three years ago.
Sooman was dead.
The night of the exchange had turned into a battlefieldâgang members against police, bullets flying, screams tearing through the air, desperate prayers lost in the chaos.
And in the end, it had taken only one bullet to Soomanâs chest to bring his empire crumbling down.
Neo Zone had fallen with him.
Even though the streets were still dangerous, crime had dropped significantly. Without Sooman pulling the strings, and with most of Neo Zoneâs key players locked away, the shadows that once ruled the city had started to fade.
And Jaehyun?
Jaehyun had died that night too.
At least, thatâs what the world believed.
By the time the dust settled, when the bodies were being identified and the surviving criminals were being processed into the prison systemâJaehyun was nowhere to be found.
Rumors spread like wildfire.
Jung Jaehyun was dead.
And in many ways, that was the truth.
The night of the exchange had been both an ending and a beginning.
Starting over was harder than he ever imagined. A new city, new faces, a new life. Everything that had once defined him was gone, and for a long time, he wasnât sure if he was meant to exist without it.
The first year was brutal.
Especially the first few months.
Jeno was a mess. He refused to speak to Jaehyun, refused to leave the house they had been placed in. He was drowning in grief and anger, haunted by the past he never had a choice in.
It wasnât until Baekhyun intervened that things changed.
Under witness protection, the Jung family was not allowed to have any contact with their old life. But Baekhyunâwho had held Jaehyun in his arms when he was seconds away from deathâknew he couldnât just leave them alone. He pulled whatever strings he could, bending rules that were never meant to be bent, just to be the one person who could keep that connection alive.
And so, Baekhyun told them the truth.
About Sooman. About Jaehyunâs father. About the accident that ruined Winwinâs life.
The truth shattered Jeno.
But it also set him free.
It took timeâmonths of silent dinners, tense conversations, and Jaehyun carrying the weight of Jenoâs resentment without complaintâbut eventually, Jeno accepted it. And on a quiet night, after far too many nights of pretending he didnât care, Jeno broke down, sobbing as he apologized.
And just like that, their bond, fractured and fragile, began to heal.
The second year was different.
They were no longer just trying to survive. They were learning to live.
Their new home no longer felt like a prison. The stares of strangers no longer felt like judgment. The ghosts that once clung to them were beginning to fade.
They were free.
And then, there was Winwin.
Jaehyun had spent years carrying the guilt of what had happened to him. The accident. The coma. The stolen future.
But in their second year, something changed. Winwin made progress.
With the help of new doctors and a rehabilitation center, he spoke for the first time in years.
By the third month of that year, his voice, once lost, returned.
By the fifth month, he took his first steps since the accident.
And by the time the second year ended, Winwin wasnât just recoveringâhe was laughing again.
And the best part?
Jaehyun was there for all of it.
The third year brought peace.
The kind of peace Jaehyun never thought he would find.
For the first time, he wasnât drowning in his past. He wasnât trapped in the cycle of guilt and regret that had consumed him for so long.
He was healing.
He had learned that the past wasnât something he could erase. It was something he had to carry. But that weight didnât have to define him.
Even his tattoosâthe ink that once felt like a death sentenceâbecame something else.
In the beginning, he hated them.
The first year, he wanted them gone. He wanted to rip them off his skin, to burn away the reminders of everything he had done, everything he had been.
But by the third year, he saw them differently.
They werenât chains anymore.
They were proof that he had survived.
Once, they had meant there was no way out.
Now, they were a reminder that there always wasâas long as you chose the right path when the moment came.
There were things in life you could walk away from.
People spent their whole lives runningâescaping from their past, their mistakes, the ghosts that clung to their shadows. Jaehyun had spent years believing he could outrun his own, that time and distance would eventually blur the edges of everything he had lost.
But there were some things that never faded.
Some things that time refused to erase.
And three years later, he realized that no matter how far he had come, no matter how much he had rebuiltâone thought remained constant.
(Y/N).
Jaehyun had sworn he wouldnât look back. That night at the warehouse had been the end of one life and the beginning of another. He had fought for this, for a clean slate, for the chance to breathe without the weight of Neo Zone pressing on his chest.
But even after all this time, there were momentsâquiet, unsuspecting momentsâwhere she would slip through the cracks of his mind. He could go days, weeks, even months convincing himself he had let go.
And then a song would play. A familiar scent would drift through the air. The city lights would flicker just right.
And suddenly, he was back there again.
Three years ago, Baekhyun had told him what happened to her.
The night of the exchange, the night he had nearly died, she had disappeared too. Gone from SM City.
And for a long time, that was enough to keep him frozen.
If she was building a new life, if she was trying to move onâhe had no right to pull her back into a past she had barely escaped from.
So he let her go.
But not a single day in those three years had passed without thinking of her.
The scent of warm spices filled the house, the faint aroma of cinnamon and cardamom lingering in the air. It was late afternoon, and the sky outside was beginning to darken, the golden light of the setting sun spilling through the windows, casting soft shadows against the wooden floors.
Jaehyun sighed as he stepped inside, rolling his shoulders to shake off the cold.
âIâm home,â he called out, voice low but steady, the familiar weight of exhaustion settling over him.
From the hallway, a figure appeared, leaning slightly on a cane.
Winwin.
Jaehyun smiled despite himself. His friend was moving better these daysâhis steps steadier, his balance stronger.
âYour mom and Jeno went to the market to get stuff for dinner,â Winwin said, his tone easy, familiar. He made his way closer, pulling Jaehyun into a brief but firm hug, the kind that spoke of quiet resilience, of the battles they had fought and survived.
Jaehyun clapped him on the shoulder before moving toward the couch. They both sank into it with matching sighs, the air between them comfortable in a way it hadnât been in years.
âHow was therapy today?â Jaehyun asked, glancing at Winwinâs cane.
Winwin exhaled, rolling his neck slightly. âBetter. Iâm still stuck with this thing for a while longer, but itâs better than not being able to walk at all.â He chuckled, a quiet, genuine sound.
Jaehyun smirked, nodding. âDefinitely better.â
Winwin tilted his head. âWhat about you? How was work?â
Jaehyun leaned back against the cushions, rubbing a hand over his face. âCouple of jobs. Nothing crazy. Though I had this one car come in today that I have no idea how itâs still running. Itâs a damn wreck.â
Winwin grinned. âThatâs good though, right? Means more work for you.â
Jaehyun huffed a quiet laugh. âYeah, I guess.â
A real job. A legitimate one.
It still felt strange sometimes.
For years, Jaehyun had lived in a world where the only way to survive was to take, to fight, to bleed. But here, in this quiet city, he had found something different.
Working at the mechanic shop wasnât glamorous, but it was honest. And after everything, that was enough.
He had spent too many years with oil and grease on his hands for all the wrong reasonsâ street illegal racing. Now, he had earned the right to build something with them.
âYouâve got time off coming up soon, donât you?â Winwin asked, watching him carefully.
Jaehyun nodded, stretching his arms over the back of the couch. âYeah, in a month or so. My boss says work should slow down a bit, so I can take a break.â
Silence settled between them, the sound of the television humming in the background, filling the space between words left unsaid.
And thenâ
âI think itâs time you look for her.â
The words were soft, barely above a whisper, but they hit Jaehyun like a freight train.
His breath hitched. His chest tightened.
Winwin wasnât looking at him, his gaze fixed on the television screen, but Jaehyun could see the weight behind his words, the careful way he had chosen them.
Jaehyun swallowed, forcing his voice to stay even. âWin, donâtââ
âYou never stopped thinking about her,â Winwin cut in, his tone gentle but firm. âNot once.â
Jaehyun clenched his jaw, fingers curling into his palms.
Because it was true.
There were things from the past you could bury.
Mistakes. Memories. Regrets.
But love was never one of them.
Three Years Later Connecticut, USA
Jaehyun never thought heâd say that a cop had become one of his closest friends.
But somewhere between saving his life, dragging him out of the hell he was drowning in, and checking in on him like an older brother who refused to leave him aloneâBaekhyun had managed to become exactly that.
So when Jaehyun asked him for a favor, something that was technically out of his jurisdiction, he had expected resistance. Expected a lecture, maybe even a flat-out no.
What he hadnât expected was Baekhyun sighing, rubbing the bridge of his nose like Jaehyun had just asked him to commit a felony, and muttering, âYou better not make me regret this.â
It took a few weeksâjust enough time for Jaehyunâs vacation to startâbut Baekhyun had done it. Had put everything in place, made the necessary calls, pulled whatever strings he could.
And now, standing in the middle of a quiet street in Connecticut, Jaehyun felt like he couldnât breathe.
He had spent three years convincing himself he had lost her. Three years trying to live with the ghost of her touch, her voice, her love.
And now, he was here.
Here to see if the universe was willing to give him one last chance.
Jaehyun had imagined this moment a thousand times.
And in every version, he was prepared for it.
He had prepared himself for her indifference. He had prepared himself for her anger. He had prepared himself for the possibility that she had moved on.
But nothingânot the endless nights spent yearning for her, not the weight of three years apart, not even the prayers whispered into the dark when he swore he didnât believe in miracles anymoreâcould have prepared him for this.
For her.
The campus was lively despite the early evening air settling over the city. Students strolled past, their conversations blending into the background hum of normalcy, of a life Jaehyun had never been part of.
But his world was silent.
Because at the end of the path, standing on the steps of a grand old university building, was her.
(Y/N).
He could barely recognize her.
Not because she looked differentâno, she was still the same girl who had haunted his dreams, the same girl who had made him feel something even before he realized he was capable of it.
But because she was free.
She wasnât the girl trapped in SM City, suffocating under the weight of expectations she never asked for. She wasnât the girl desperately trying to hold together a life that was unraveling at the seams.
She was radiantâ and so heartbreakingly beautiful that it made his chest ache
The evening sun cast a golden glow on her skin, her hair catching the light just right. She was speaking to someone, her laughter drifting through the air like music. And for a moment, Jaehyun couldnât move.
Because how the hell was he supposed to walk up to her when she had done exactly what he always wanted for her?
She had moved on.
Jaehyun swallowed, his fingers curling into fists at his sides. He had played out this moment in his head a thousand times. Had rehearsed what he would say, how he would explain, how he would tell her that not a single day had passed without her name pressed against his ribs like a prayer.
But now that she was standing in front of him, just a few feet away, all he could do was stand there, frozen in the agony of uncertainty.
What if she didnât want to see him?
What if she had forgotten him?
What if she had healed, and he was nothing more than an old wound she didnât want to reopen?
But thenâ
She turned.
And her eyes met his.
For a second, nothing happened.
The world stood still.
Jaehyun wasnât sure if he was still breathing.
But then her lips parted, and he saw her eyesâthose same eyes he had dreamt about for three years, the eyes that had once held every secret part of himâ widened. The way her entire body reacted to the sight of him. The way her fingers trembled, the way her chest rose and fell a little too quickly.
And for one agonizing second, neither of them moved.
The world stretched impossibly wide between them.
And then, without warningâ
She ran.
Straight toward him.
Jaehyun barely had time to react, breath knocked from his lungs as her arms wrapped around him, her body colliding against his with a force that felt like a lifetime of longing compressed into a single second.
And suddenly, he was eighteen again.
Holding her like she was the only thing keeping him tethered to the world.
(Y/N) was cryingsobbing against his shoulder, her fingers gripping the back of his shirt like she was afraid he would disappear if she let go. And JaehyunâJaehyun was shaking.
Because after all these years, after all the distance, after all the painâhe had found his way back to her.
His arms tightened around her, his fingers tangling in her hair as he pressed his face into her shoulder, breathing her in, grounding himself in the reality that this was real.
She was real.
She was here.
âIââ Her voice broke as she pulled back just enough to look at him, her eyes searching his like she was trying to understand if he was truly standing in front of her. âI thoughtâ I thought youââ
Jaehyun exhaled shakily, brushing his fingers against her cheek, his heart breaking at the way she leaned into his touch like she had been starving for it.
âI know,â he whispered. âI know.â
(Y/N) sucked in a breath, her hands moving to cup his face, her thumbs tracing over his jaw like she couldnât believe he was real.
âI tried to call you,â she choked out. âThat night. When I found out I was leaving. I tried, but you neverââ
Jaehyunâs heart clenched. âI never got them.â
Her lips quivered.
âJaehyunâŚâ
A pause. A second of hesitation, of uncertainty.
Then, Jaehyun let out a soft breath, his fingers brushing through her hair, tucking a strand behind her ear with the gentlest touch.
âItâs Yoonoh now,â he murmured.
Her breath hitched.
(Y/N) hadnât heard that name in years. And the last time she had, he had begged her not to call him thatâhad told her that Jaehyun was all he had left.
But now⌠now he was choosing it.
Choosing to be himself again. Choosing her.
Tears welled in her eyes, overflowing before she could stop them. Her lips trembled, a choked laugh escaping her as she buried her face in his chest, gripping onto him as if the weight of his words had made her legs give out.
JaehyunâYoonohâsmiled, pressing a soft kiss to the crown of her head, his arms pulling her impossibly closer.
âAngel,â he whispered.
A sob broke from her throat.
He had never stopped calling her that.
Even now, after all this time, after everything, she was still his Angel.
She pulled back slightly, just enough to look at him, her hands still cradling his face.
âYou came back.â
Jaehyun swallowed, his voice raw. âI never stopped looking for you.â His lips found the top of her head, pressing a lingering, shaky kiss into her hair, his fingers trailing up and down her back. "I left. Sooman it's down. I'm not part of Neo Zone anymore. I have a new lifeâ there's nothing helding me down anymore."
Her lips trembled. âAnd now?â
His thumb brushed away a tear that rolled down her cheek.
âNow?â He let out a shaky breath, pressing his forehead against hers, his eyes never leaving hers.
âNow Iâm here to say that I love you. That I have always love you..â
And when their lips met, it wasnât just a kiss.
It was a homecoming. It was every unsaid word, every missed moment, every aching, desperate wish they had ever whispered into the dark, answered in a single breath.
It was the universe setting itself right.
It was the answer to every prayer they had ever whispered in the silence.
They had spent years running.
But in the end, they had always been meant to find their way back.
And this time, Yoonoh wasnât going to let go.
a/n: NOT PROOFEAD! Yes! I finally give you fluff. And you know what? They both healed. So that's all that matters. So yeah, this is the end of I like me better when i'm with you. I'm thinking about add bonus scenes like time-stamps or headcanons, but i'm not sure... but for now that's the end. I'd love to know what you think about the whole series so far. Thank you for giving this story a chance. I'm sorry about the slow-burn and the push-pull and push dynamics but i really love drama. I'm so grateful to get to this point.

Juche-based revolutionary armed force standing guard over the achievements of Juche-based socialism -special article on the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of the foundation of the Korean Peopleâs Revolutionary Army by Dr Dermot Hudson
The Korean Peopleâs Army(KPA) origins go back to the 25th of April 1932 rather than simply the 8th of February 1948 when the KPA was founded as a regular revolutionary armed force . In fact the KPA was founded as the Anti-Japanese Peopleâs Guerrilla Army , which later became the Korean Peopleâs Revolutionary Army(KPRA ) in March 1934 , on the 25th of April by the great leader President KIM IL SUNG in Antu, Manchuria where many Koreans had been exiled to because of the harshness and barbarity of Japanese imperialist colonial rule in Korea.
President KIM IL SUNG in his speech to the ceremony to found the Anti-Japanese Peopleâs Guerilla Army declared that; âThe AJPGA is made up of the workers, peasants and young patriots who oppose the Japanese imperialists and their stooges and love their country and people; it is a revolutionary armed force which will dedicate itself to protecting the interests of the people. The aim and mission of the peopleâs guerrilla army is to overthrow the colonial rule of Japanese imperialism in Korea and bring national independence and social emancipation to the Korean people.â
The above words of President KIM IL SUNG adroitly summed up the nature , role and mission of the Anti-Japanese Peopleâs Guerrilla Army (AJPGA) .It was an army of workers and peasants as well as patriotic youth and it was a revolutionary armed force which aimed at not only national liberation but freeing the people from the shackles of feudalism , landlordism and capitalism.
President KIM IL SUNG also stressed that the AJPGA was a self-reliant , Juche-based revolutionary armed force saying that âWe are now fighting against formidable Japanese imperialism under difficult circumstances, with neither home front nor foreign aid. We must believe only in our united strength and have the firm conviction that we can defeat the enemy by our own strength. By our own strength I mean the organized and united masses of the people.â The KPRA fought with the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and the Juche Idea . They seized weapons from the Japanese aggressors or manufactured their own . Some hoped that the Soviet Union, the first socialist state, would supply them with a hand-grenade factory but this never materialised so they made their own hand-grenades the 'Yongil bomb'(of course today the DPRK has its own nuclear 'Yongil bomb'.) In March 1934 the Anti Japanese People's Guerrilla Army became the Korean People's Revolutionary Army . Under the command of the great leader President KIM IL SUNG, an ever victorious iron-willed brilliant commander, the stout hearted and heroic guerrilla revolutionary fighters of the KPRA fought many battles against the Japanese imperialist aggressors such the battle of Pochonbo and the battle of Musan to name just a few .
The battle of Pochonbo on the 4 June 1937 was most significant as it symbolises the KPRA's advance into the Korean homeland. The hard and arduous struggle of the AJPGA led by the great leader President KIM IL SUNG paid off in the end on the 9th of August 1945 general KIM IL SUNG gave the order for the final offensive against the Japanese marauders . The KPRA together with Soviet army units surged into Korea , the KPRA often taking the lead in the more difficult battles. On August 15 1945 Korea was liberated at last from Japanese imperialist rule. After liberation President KIM IL SUNG made the foundation of a standing , regular revolutionary armed force the order of the day and the guerilla based KPRA became the regular Korean Peopleâs Army(KPA) on the 8th of February 1948 .
Since then the KPA has stood guard over the independence of Peopleâs Korea and the gains of Juche-based socialism . The KPA received a baptism of fire in June 1950 when the US imperialists and ROK puppets invaded in the DPRK but the KPA inflicted a crushing defeat on the US imperialists in the great Fatherland Liberation War of 1950-1953.The KPA also defeated the US in the âPueblo incidentâ,'EC121 incidentâ, âPanmunjom incidentâ of 1976 and the 1994 helicopter shoot down incident. The KPA under the command of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN , an ever-victorious iron-willed brilliant commander, has defended the sovereignty and honour of Peopleâs Korea during the intense confrontation with US imperialism in the second decade of the 21st century .Thanks to the steadfastness of the KPA which is now equipped with nukes and ICBMs , the outbreak of war on the Korean peninsula was averted in 2013, 2015 and 2017 .
Glory to the KPA , the inheritor and continuer of the traditions of the Korean Peopleâs Revolutionary Army and defender of Juche-based socialism !
Dr Dermot Hudson Chairman , Korean Friendship Association UK Chairman British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea President Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK Hon secretary general International Central Committee for Songun Study

500 years ago, Kim Hongjoong stumbled upon a dirty and old shrine. Bruised, bloody, and broken.
He begged the silent deity for help, tears cascading down his nearly broken jaw. A miracle he could still talk. His broken fingers dropped all of the coins he had to offer onto the shrine. He continued to beg for help and prayed to the God but he got no answer.
His body could no longer sustain his energy and he collapsed onto the wet ground. Hongjoong knew this was the end and he didnât want to die like this.
Hongjoong let out one more scream before the light faded and he passed out from his injuries. No longer able to stay present.
To die for loving the wrong person. He would never change it, even if this was his death.
The deity appeared out of thin air and stared down at the almost corpse on his sacred ground. He couldnât help but shake his head.
âHumans and their violence. Wake up, boy. I will not have you die on my holy shrine.â The deity pressed two fingers to Hongjoongâs head and he awoke with a gasp for air.
âYou..Thank you.â Hongjoong tried to sit up but his ribs and other miscellaneous injuries screamed at him to stop. How he is still alive is baffling. The deity thought of him as a fighter for surviving this long with the extent of his injuries.
âWhy have you come to my shrine, why do you seek my help, human?â
âBecause I donât want to die. I need to live for Seonghwa, but his family wonât let me see him anymore. Theyâre the reason Iâm like this. They tried to kill me but I got away.â Hongjoong was able to sit up with the help of the deity, who only frowned at his words.
âLove? Thatâs a strong reason to fight for your life.â He admired that. A lot. He missed his love life.
âDo you want revenge, human?â
âWhat? I- I..yes. I do. I shouldnât be tortured or killed for loving another man.â Hongjoong truly loves Park Seonghwa of the noble Park family. He hated Seonghwaâs face and screams when he was getting the shit beaten from him.
Hongjoong hated the Park family for trying to kill him in front of his lover. He wanted them dead. He wanted to steal away Hwa and live in the mountains away from the rest of this cruel humanity.
âVery well. I can feel your anger, human. I will grant you your revenge but it comes at a cost.â The deity crossed his arms before speaking once again, âYou must take my powers and my status. You will be a God instead. Only then Iâll finally be free of this torture of living forever.â
Hongjoong was confused, âWait, youâre willing just to give up everything? For me?â
âBelieve it or not, I was once in love just like you. I was born a God, they were born a human. It was agony watching them die and Iâm ready to be with them. But you must take it from me.â The deity held out his hand, a glow emitting from it. It was so inviting.
Hongjoong furrowed his eyebrows before quickly grasping the deity's hand. A scream emitted from their longs as the power was transferred to Hongjoong.
Nothing else was said as the deity faded into nothing but dust.
Hongjoong could feel the power coursing within him. Each wound and broken bone was immediately healed and he felt a strange sense of longing. He knew it was for his lover down in the village. He could only hope he was still alive and not locked up in a cell by his family. Or worse, being forced to marry someone very fast.
Hongjoong didnât care. He was going to kill them alone and take Seonghwa away with him.
One quick flash and he was standing in front of the Park residence. The guards screamed at him and ran towards him to finish the job they tried to do earlier. They failed and were flung to opposite sides. Hongjoong made them disappear as if they never existed and marched his way in, blasting the doors open with just an open palm.
Screams were heard from inside. Good. They should be scared.
âYou! How are you still alive!â It was Seonghwaâs father. No matter, he was swiped against a wall with a flick of a wrist.
âPeasant.â Hongjoong spat at the manâs now broken body.
Seonghwaâs mother screamed in absolute horror, âGeo-â Dead. Hongjoong broke her spine with yet another gesture.
Seonghwaâs older brother ran out to be by his dead parents and to fight Hongjoong. It was pointless. Hongjoong killed him too. Nothing was going to stop him from finding his lover.
âSeonghwa?â Hongjoong called out as he stepped over multiple corpses. He ripped his bloodied hanbok and threw the pieces to the ground, they were pointless.
He couldnât find Seonghwa anywhere. Fuck. They mustâve locked him up. That angered him much further. Hongjoong left the residence ablaze once he stepped out of the threshold. Villagers who saw the massacre stayed out of Hongjoongâs way. Now terrified of the man.
A good choice.
The new deity made his way to the village's cells. Once he gets his man, this whole town will be gone. He wasnât going to leave anyone alive. Not after they all sat around and let Hongjoong and Seonghwa be separated.
With the cells in site, the guards were slaughtered and he burst open the gates, each criminal ran out of their cells in fear but Seonghwa remained. He knew his lover came back for him. He didnât care how.
Seonghwa was just happy Hongjoong was alive.
âHongjoong!â The noble ran out of his cell and into Hongjoongâs arms, âHow are you alive?â
His lover only laughed, âIâll tell you later, for now we must leave this place. We donât belong here.â Hongjoong kissed Seonghwa with such fever that he refused to separate for several moments.
They left the village hand in hand. Hongjoong didnât even bother to look back when he set everything ablaze, leaving nothing to save itself. He got his revenge and much more. Nothing was going to separate them ever again. Ever.
-
Kim Hongjoong and Park Seonghwa, both now immortals, faced the earth and its challenges together. They hid in the mountains away from the humans to maintain their happiness and peace. Hongjoong had gave Seonghwa powers to protect himself. Powers that matched their invisible tie to each other. He honed abilities from the planet. Elemental.
Seonghwa maintained a garden that he took care of with his new powers. The animals in the forest kept him company when Hongjoong had to leave to Deity Overworld, now that heâs a god.
One day, Seonghwa heard a blood curdling scream and chanting coming down the mountain. Hongjoong was gone so that couldnât be him.
Seonghwa set down the white rabbit in his lap and marched down the hill, carefully treading.
Once he made it past the clearing, he found a big man strung up to a post, men and women surrounding it with torches. Seonghwa knew what it was immediately. A witch trial.
Humans are so cruel to anything different.
Just as they were about to light him aflame, Seonghwa cleared his throat, âI suggest you let him down or there will be consequences. I donât take innocent bloodshed lightly.â
The people whipped their heads toward the newfound voice, âExcuse me? How dare you threaten us. Are you a witch too?â A man poked Seonghwaâs chest with a pitchfork.
He didnât like that. Without moving, the ground swallows the man whole, âAnyone want to go next?â
The humans screamed in fear and ran away, not wanting to die.
The man on the post had been crying, thankful to be saved. Why did he have to be scorned for practicing a non harmful craft?
âItâs okay, Iâve got you now.â Seonghwa cut the ropes that held the man high, âCareful.â He caught him as he fell, âWhatâs your name? Iâm Seonghwa.â A beautiful smile stretched his cheeks as he kept the man warm.
âYunho. Jeong Yunho. Thank you for saving me. Iâm forever in your debt.â Yunhoâs large hands grasped Seonghwaâs in desperation, âI donât know how to even begin to thank you.â
Seonghwa shook his head, âYou donât need to. What the humans are doing is harmful. You donât deserve to die, Yunho. Come with me. Iâve got somewhere to keep you safe.â
-
âUm, Seonghwa, who is this?â Hongjoong appeared from a mist into the living room, confusion smeared on his features.
Yunho jumped, nearly screaming in his spot, still jumpy from earlier.
âHey, itâs okay.â Seonghwa was quick to comfort the big man, âThis is Yunho, he was about to be burned at the stake for witchcraft..I just couldnât let that happen.â
Hongjoong melted at his words. One of the many reasons he fell for Seonghwa. His selflessness and care for others beside himself.
âI see, well, make sure he has somewhere to stay warm and rest. Iâm sure it was stressful.â Hongjoong smiled and walked to his bedroom, exhausted from traveling between worlds.
Yunho smiled to himself and held the blanket close to his body, âYou two are very kind. Thank you for the hospitality.â
âSo, tell me, Yunho. Do you have anyone?â Seonghwa carefully sat beside Yunho, caution on his features.
âAh, no. I donât. Itâs just me. I suppose thatâs why it was so easy for me to be found by those villagers.â He could never return to his home. Not if he wanted to live.
âWell, I have a proposition for you then, Mr. Yunho, how would you like to live forever without having to worry about being burned alive?â Seonghwa offered with such nonchalance.
Yunho was in shock. What was he saying?
âHuh?â
âLook, Hongjoong and I are immortal. Hongjoong is a god and he gave me immortality to be with him forever. I want to give you that now. I know you could use it for the good in your heart.â The former noble was serious in every sense, âOf course, Iâd have to talk to Hongjoong but I want to give you that offer.â
âI just thought you were also a witch honestly.â Yunho laughed.
âWell, no, but still.â Seonghwa stood back up, âIâll let you think about it but Iâm going to go speak to Hongjoong about this.â
-
âYouâre an immortal now, how do you feel, Yunho?â Seonghwa grinned, Hongjoongâs arm around his waist.
The new immortal couldnât help but cry as fire emitted from his palms, âI..Iâm so happy.â Of course the fire was a bonus. Now he could make everyone pay that tried to burn him alive.
âBe careful with that ability, Yunho, I know what youâre thinking. I can hear everything. If you do not tread my warnings carefully, I can take it all from you without breaking a sweat. So donât test me.â Hongjoong was stern but he knew Yunho wouldnât break his trust. It was like he had a golden retriever that followed his every demand and order.
After all, this was just the beginning of a big tale to come.
âI will, thank you, Hongjoong.â
The three men would continue to live in harmony for decades. In peace and tranquillity. They never had to worry about another human trying to kill them and Hongjoong helped Yunho and Seonghwa hone their abilities. He was going to shape them into beasts. A small army if you will.
Nothing was going to stop him from being who he was meant to be.
They lived their lives on a pirate ship that sailed the ocean, that Hongjoong had stolen, becoming the new feared pirate crew for years to come.
He had to grow this team and he had to use the abilities he was given.
Yunho made them a fourth member. A living doll but with a human body. His name is Kang Yeosang and heâs another immortal. His abilities are unknown as heâs still getting accustomed to being a living doll. Made from dark magic.
Again, this was only the beginning for this forming team.
Theyâre only going to get stronger.
