ATEEZ Yeosang MBTI Analysis

- INTP -

An in-depth analysis of an idol's MBTI type. Based on my opinion and observations, may change later. Not an expert.

MBTI: INTP (Ti - Ne - Si - Fe)

Dom: Ti - Introverted Thinking

A judging function that uses subjective thinking and logic to make the most rational decisions

 Yeosang is known for his bluntness, which is honestly the most Ti dom thing ever. He admits this himself, even saying the members are scared of his honesty. He isn't purposely mean though - Ti doms are just straightforward. They often don't see the point in sugarcoating if they see something wrong/irrational. Ti wants the truth always.

Aux: Ne - Extroverted Intuition  

A perceiving function that creates new ideas through connections and patterns in the environment

His Ti - Ne shined in ep 5 of the Salary Lupin series. The way he thought of the theory of MPD being an obsessive lover of San and of Seonghwa being genderfluid was quite astounding. He connected the details so well that it was highly convincing. Although he was wrong, it was still impressive that he managed to come up with that (even if it was given to him by some sort of script - I doubt it would've been that descriptive). He even has a witty sense of humor that I've noticed in high Ne users (e.g when members were wondering about Woo's apple watch model and Yeosang proceeded to put a literal apple on his own wrist, calling it an old model). 

Tert: Si - Introverted Sensing  

A perceiving function that is focused on the internal sensations of the body. Prefers familiarity and internal structure

Yeosang seems comfortable keeping some sort of routine (e.g working out). He's quick at picking up choreo and can dance correctly not too long after, making him a perfect lead dancer. He likely has a good eye for detail.

Inf: Fe - Extroverted Feeling

Extroverted Feeling places importance on the values of others and group harmony. However, Yeosang is known to be quite blunt. He isn't rude on purpose, he's just honest (which seems to be a lot of IxTP's problem). A higher Fe position would likely sugarcoat or phrase their words carefully so that they still receive a positive reaction in the end.

For Yeosang, it seems he struggles with that. Like the time he was having some issues with Wooyoung, he didn't know how to talk about it. He didn't even want to bring up the issue for fear of disrupting peace. However, it ended up slipping out anyways accidentally on live. A lot of Fe inferior don't really know how to face issues they have with others properly. How to bring it up, the apropriate timing and setting, etc so they may end up having an emotional outburst.

He also tends to keep things to himself, only going to Hongjoong when he was struggling.

Why he's not an ISFP (Fi - Se - Ni - Te) or ISFJ (Si - Fe - Ti - Ne):

I don't think he's an ISFP since I don't see him use ISFP's functions at all. San is an ISFP and comparing the two, they're completely different. Of course not all ISFPs are the same, but Yeosang does not have a dominant/auxiliary feeling function at all.

Or an ISFJ...although same functions as INTP, just different order, I don't think he's a Si dom or Fe aux. He definitely does not seem Ne inferior.

Right, Indian food is full of plant based dishes, it's one of my favourite cuisines. Western veganism to me is white fitness people going vegan for health reasons and eating food with no flavour. I actually have a friend who's sensitive to flavours, so she eats pretty bland food, but most vegans don't care about health that much jjshshkakwjsjsjw so we just eat junk, but vegan. If you serve me a simple raw salad I might cry. I don't think I have a fave dish, but I'd say vegan burgers are on another level. Years ago they were just dry bean or chickpea patties with some veggies, no flavour, no texture. Nowadays even meat eaters love them. I also love vegan noodles, be it ramen, pho, pad thai, whatever. If you're a cook or a chef and you're scared of making plant based food idk what to tell you 💀

Nascido de pais coreanos que tentavam se reerguer em um novo país, o rapaz passou por uma infância perturbada e que foi influente para a construir toda a sua personalidade durante os anos. Precisava conviver com os gritos das discussões de seus pais de domingo a domingo, e não era algo que envolvia falta de dinheiro já que seu pai conseguia toneladas disso com o esquema de tráfico no qual se meteu nos primeiros anos da mudança. Junsik nunca conseguiu compreender os motivos por trás de todas as brigas quais presenciou, mas todos os dias se deparava com sua mãe cada vez mais machucada lhe encarando com uma profunda expressão desgostosa e arrependida.

Dormir em casa se tornou um inferno com o passar dos anos, quando as brigas se tornaram cada vez mais violentas e, em algum ponto, viraram também para o lado do coreano com seus recém 13 anos. Seu pai parecia estar embriagado ou drogado na maior parte do tempo em que o via e, quando cruzava o caminho dele, era certo de que apanharia por alguma razão absurda como “a televisão está com o volume baixo”. Já sua mãe, por outro lado, passava o dia inteiro presa em um dos cômodos e saía apenas para fazer alguma refeição ou descontar sua infelicidade no garoto que já parecia se acostumar com tudo aquilo, por pior que fosse. Com o passar dos anos e com pouco esforço para conectar os pontos soltos, Junsik conseguiu perceber que o problema de todas as brigas que vivenciou até então era sua existência. Seus pais se odiavam e foram obrigados a fingir um casamento e se mudar para o Estados Unidos por causa da gravidez repentina de sua mãe e, para piorar a situação, o bebê que surgiu dali possuía uma harmonização perfeita dos traços de ambos, o que os deixou com mais nojo de tudo o que precisavam passar.

Não é como se Bae tivesse pedido para nascer, também. Não era sua culpa ser fruto de um descuido de seus progenitores, mas por alguma razão precisava sofrer todas as consequências daquilo bem na sua pele, qual vivia machucada com hematomas das surras constantes que levava, dos queimados de cigarro e até mesmo com algumas cicatrizes de quando precisou intervir numa briga entre ambos que chegou a envolver facas e cacos de vidro provindos de uma das várias garrafas quebradas sobre a mesa.

Apesar de toda a vida conturbada que levava em casa, a situação nas ruas e na escola era bem diferente. O garoto nunca deixou transparecer o que passava longe dos locais públicos, então sempre foi muito adorado por todos os professores por sua educação e até mesmo bajulado por sua beleza. O pequeno era um dos alunos mais exemplares das séries que passava e sempre demonstrou ter uma personalidade agradável e carinhosa por querer tratar as pessoas de uma maneira qual nunca havia sido tratado em sua vida.

Quando completou seus 16 anos o americano conseguiu pegar uma quantia de dinheiro escondida de seu pai e comprar um notebook para seus estudos e para ter um motivo que o prendesse em seu quarto escuro durante horas, evitando que toda a violência sofrida perdurasse durante a noite também. Passava horas vasculhando blogs aleatórios pela internet e, em uma dessas mexidas aleatórias, acabou lendo matérias sobre a parte da internet voltada para hacking e quebra de sistemas, se interessando ao ver que existiam diversas pessoas ali convivendo com um inferno parecido com o seu ou que apenas dividiam os mesmos gostos. Foi ali que começou a pegar tutoriais de programação e se enfiar em fóruns de ajuda sobre o assunto, o que fez o adolescente criar gosto por todos os códigos que digitava e desmanchava com o passar do tempo.

Junto com a conclusão do ensino médio veio também o seu início de bicos como programador para arrumar sites ou pequenos bugs, coisas que considerava simples devido ao seu conhecimento depois de alguns anos se dedicando a isso do momento em que chegava em casa até a hora que apagava sobre o teclado, sua porta sempre trancada e seus ouvidos fechados para o que acontecia fora do cômodo abafado. Vivia quase uma realidade alternativa lá dentro, com seus jogos, filmes e séries onde conseguia ver e fantasiar sobre uma vida sem tantos problemas, esses que pareciam sempre intermináveis mesmo podendo viver bem.

Em uma noite na qual Junsik se recusou a sair com seus pais para bancar a família feliz em uma festa qualquer, a pequena reviravolta por qual ele sempre havia esperado acabou ocorrendo, mas não de um jeito feliz. Um acidente de carro acabou levando seu pai e sua mãe a óbito, descobrindo mais tarde que a culpa fora do progenitor que dirigia extremamente embriagado – o que só aumentou o ódio do rapaz por aquele que, de certa forma, já havia partido.

Ficar sozinho nos Estados Unidos estava fora de questão mesmo que estivesse a um passo de se tornar maior de idade, sua escolha foi a de se mudar para a Coreia do Sul e viver com uma tia que lhe acolheu como uma verdadeira mãe, dando todo o afeto e atenção que o Bae não havia recebido naqueles recém 21 anos passados. Foi ela quem lhe incentivou a estudar melhor o coreano e aplicar em uma universidade onde escolheu o curso de Ciências da Computação para seguir no que tanto amava e concluir sem pensar em largar. A facilidade para encontrar um emprego digno naquela área também o surpreendeu e, não só isso, as amizades e hobbies novos que vieram à seguir também, sendo a dança o mais incentivado pela mulher e também o único que ela sabia.

Nunca havia se imaginado sendo algo além de um grande nerd de computadores, mas ser levado para uma corrida ilegal de motos que estava acontecendo como “festa de boas-vindas secreta da empresa” mudou totalmente o horizonte do rapaz. A velocidade, a adrenalina, os gritos e o dinheiro. Tudo parecia vir fácil demais se você tivesse uma moto potente e controle para não cair de boca na pista. Aquela sementinha ficou plantada nas ideias de Junsik por alguns meses até ele ter coragem de conversar com o superior responsável pela ideia daquele dia em específico e, sendo milagre do destino ou não, o homem sabia bem em como iniciar o garoto naquele assunto; isso rendeu em uma mudança de casa às pressas para Yuheung, onde ainda estaria próximo de sua tia, mas também poderia viver sua liberdade sem precisar arrumar desculpas esfarrapadas para suas saídas constantes durante a madrugada ou para os machucados exagerados que surgiam dia após dia.

Possui algumas tatuagens escondidas que fez depois de sua chegada na Coreia, um piercing sublingual e um piercing em cada mamilo.

Possui uma Yamaha MT-10 2020 e cuida dela melhor do que de si mesmo.

Aceita bicos de hacker por fora do trabalho formal que executa como desenvolvedor back-end. Costuma utilizar o apelido “Nilli” para isso.

Nasceu em Seul, mas seus pais se mudaram para Los Angeles antes mesmo de ele completar 1 ano de idade.

Tem uma personalidade bem calma e acaba sendo receptivo com as pessoas, porém é fechado sobre sua própria vida e tem opiniões bem fortes em alguns assuntos por causa disso.
