Wind Na'vi facts/notes/ background information:
Naturally a darker shade of blue (roughly cyan, gray like coloring)
One of the tallest Na’vi species reaching up to 6 meters in height
Titled as the adaptable Na’vi; this is due to their bodies naturally being compatible in any sort of environment, hence the naming of their people wind. They say “wind is everywhere, strong, gentle, loud or quiet it travels everywhere, we travel everywhere and learn hence why we are wind Na’vi”
They’re skilled fliers; great hunts are usually done within the sky where fast and cunning beasts fly around. It takes a very skilled flier and hunter to bring down a matriarch which tends to be the fastest and deadliest, by doing this a hunter can earn more praise as well as popularity amongst their people, this can also allow them to teach younger hunters.
They are wanderers, individuals who are officially adults can travel pandora independently learning from other Na’vi, this is beneficial for them.
Both male and female can take on the roles of Oloeyktan or Tsahik, they can also have more than one of the leaders, some can even take on both roles if they can handle it.
Along with their size they are strong Na’vi; males tend to have more muscle than the women this is due to the unofficial beauty standard of women having a skinnier structure considered pretty and delicate.
The strongest limbs of the wind Na’vi are their legs and tail; their legs being built for running at top speeds of 72kmp, and extreme jumping power; vertical jumping on average: 380cm, running jump: 570cm), their tails being naturally thicker in width and longer in length; getting whipped or swiped by their tails can deal minor to serious damage depending on whether or not if they were purposefully aiming to whip you somewhere.
They are only Na’vi species whose 4 limbs are long enough to run on all 4 fours (they don’t often do it because it isn’t considered necessary, they only do it when it’s urgent and threatened)
Large ears: they have extremely sensitive hearing picking up on small and hidden sounds an average Na’vi can’t pick up on. This is also why they tend to speak softly and never raise their voices unless pushed over the edge
They also have an extremely powerful bite force. Getting a limb into the jaws of a wind Na’vi can possibly be fatal. Thinking of it as a pride of lions, they don’t let their prey go at all until the prey has stopped struggling completely. Not trying to exaggerate but their bite force is enough to rip off a chunk of skin if they wanted to. Usually, they don’t resort to biting unless they are deeply threatened.
They are naturally talented craftsmen, having weaving hanging homes around a variety of large trees around their base.
They have multiple camps, the big one is the main home where all the elderly and young stay and be protected, experienced hunters/ fliers or warriors live in smaller camps in small groups. This is mainly to keep post on any lurking dangers that could possibly hurt the camp (these smaller camps also started occurring 16 years directly after the event (adult hunters and fliers aren’t expected to live in the smaller camps. It’s optional)).
To be considered an adult amongst the people you must complete your iknimaya.
Wind Na’vi have a cousin group, something closer to the average size of a Na’vi. They are smaller with the exact same build, the only difference being the height and forearm length.
They refer to each other as colossal and average cousins.
Their smaller cousins came to be from crossbreeding with other Na’vi, which in their culture is acceptable as they’re allowed to mate whomever they choose.
Consent is a big thing for them, for their people, for their culture. Wind Na’vi can refuse the role of Oloeyktan and Tsahik even courting from other Na’vi. When two young adults’ mate and are not fully developed both parties are to wait not only until their spouse is matured completely but also has given consent is they choose to have a child or not.
Childbirth is incredibly hard for the women of their clan as their bodies aren’t really developed to have children hence a lot of infant death occurs.
This is what currently comes to mind if you have any inquiries please do tell I would love to answer and add onto this. Enjoy.

Katara: NATLA Edition - Waterbending

In the Netflix show, Katara's main teacher was the world - she observed, she learned the spiritual side of bending from Aang (and a little from Jet), and she learned from opponents she fought (including Pakku)
This is SHOWING Uncle Iroh's lesson to Zuko in Bitter Work (book 2) about learning as much as you can from everywhere even if they aren't directly doing your own style of bending. By learning about everyone's cultures/styles/philosophies of the world, then you have a more rounded view of the world and can incorporate new things into your own bending.
I think an important distinction people are missing when they compare LA and animated Katara is that in the animated series, we see Katara WATERBEND more, but in the live action, we see her PRACTICING waterbending more.
In the animated series, she's already doing very useful things with her waterbending (lifting a fish, throwing water and freezing it, breaking apart an iceberg with her anger, pulling down a bank of snow, lifting a whole wave of water, pushing and pulling a wave, pulling water from Aang's lungs, pushing the water while she's in it to get to shore faster, lifting water from a river to freeze as a block on a guy's head, lifting and maneuvering water in the air) before she ever even gets a hint of training. She just 'naturally' knows how to do all that through her own trial and error - no advice from Aang about the spirituality of bending, no training from the scroll, and no using moves she's seen other benders do just making it water.
The only times we see animated Katara training is in The Waterbending Scroll episode - which is the entire point of the episode - and in the trio of episodes up in the NWT - again, the whole point of her arc in those episodes. Everything else, she's done on her own and there's no moments of her training during the other episodes, she just waterbends.
In the live action, we see Katara constantly practicing, even when she's just in the background of a scene or traveling from place to place - she's ALWAYS practicing her stances or playing with water to get better.
In the live action, Katara is struggling with ALL of waterbending, not just the technical aspect of it - because bending is a highly spiritual practice where you have to be in the right mindset to do successfully. We see every single step of Katara's waterbending practice journey - from not even being able to lift a globe of water to holding her own against a master.
We get to see the process of bending from start to finish which really fleshes out the magic of the world in an organic way while providing one of our leads with more depth that ties them to the themes of the world and of their own culture and how the oppression of the Fire Nation affects her mental state.
In the animated show, we hear Katara talk about how losing her mother hurt her, yet we really only see the fallout of that trauma, not her inner turmoil over it. We see her taking on a 'motherly' role in the community and with Sokka, we see her anger at the firebenders, we see how she's had to grow up too fast and just wants to be a kid, but the actual death of her mother and its affect on her isn't shown.
I like how the live action specifically shows how Katara's mother's death affects HER - she doesn’t just share the story to connect with others, it's not just the 'reason' she acts the way she does, it's not just something that impacts her relationships with others: if no one else in the world existed for Katara to interact with, Katara would still have a journey to go on surrounding Kya's death.
In the LA, the fact that her mother was killed by a firebender looking for HER - and she tries to save her mother using her waterbending and it doesn't work because she isn't strong enough yet, directly affects Katara herself independent of anyone else. That trauma keeps her from being able to waterbend easily like she does in the animated show and it's one of her main arcs: the arc to learn waterbending isn't just a technical journey for her like it is in the animated show, it's emotional too.
Generational trauma due to horrific violence is shown both in external issues to grapple with as well as internal ones our characters have to face alone.
I really like how the live action broke down Katara's waterbending and we got to see the 'less flashy' aspects of it. She's not constantly doing huge and impactful moves, she's steadily growing in power and confidence one small step at a time. She doesn't do it alone - she has so many teachers who help her along the way with both the physical and mental aspect of bending and to me, her progression in power is much more clear in the live action than it is in the animated show.

Very excited to introduce this queen!

Meet the newest addition to the UA student body: American exchange student Selena Mathew! Or as her fans know her, Super Star!
Fun Facts:
- Selena was born and raised in the bustling streets of Chicago, meaning that music was a part of her life from a young age. Everywhere she went, a different kind of music was blaring from every corner.
- Her parents were both big fans of musicians like Selena Quintanilla and Selena Gomez growing up, so of course they had to name her after them. She became part of the “Selena Trio”, as her parents like to call it.
- She has a younger brother, but he was born Quirkless. To make up for it, he helps his sister out by building her support items to help with her Quirk. Selena loves her brother very much and will boast about him to anyone willing to lend an ear. She also will not hesitate to pummel anyone who mocks him for being Quirkless.
- Through the use of her social media and widespread influence, she once single handedly brought back the harem pants trend. It is now a permanent part of her Hero costume.
- To expand her musical horizons, she studied and became fluent in at least seven other languages.
- She wears the UA uniform, but you could not pay her to part with her shoes. She claims that they’re part of her identity.
Her Quirk is Music Video. Whenever she sings, she can influence the environment around her to her liking, as if she was starring in her own music video. She can cause items to appear and disappear, people to become her background singers and dancers, and even cause the terrain around her to behave abnormally. The effect ends when she stops singing.
If she sings more than 5 or 6 songs, though, depending on the length of them, her throat starts to hurt immensely. It can get to the point where it hurts to even talk. She tries to make sure that she always has throat lozenges for when it happens, and in the case that it’s really bad, she’s fortunately fluent in ASL. If no one else is, she keeps flash cards handy.
The types of songs she sings can also have a specific effect on those around her. If she sings a song with a fast tempo and loud bass, she can exponentially increase the strength and speed of herself and those she views as her allies. If she sings a song with a slow tempo and soft rhythm, she can convince a hostile opponent to calm down and negotiate instead of fight.
The way her parents spin the story, her Quirk developed when she was born and everyone in the hospital room at the time started screaming in perfect harmony with an infant Selena.
She started out as an underground artist that did cover songs. Though as she started to experiment more with her Quirk, she realized its benefits and started moonlighting as a vigilante, affecting the outcome of crimes in progress by singing from the shadows. As she started gaining confidence in her abilities, she went public with her crime fighting and was eventually accepted into UA high school.
The further her voice travels, the more terrain she can influence. To help her, she has a small arsenal of support items:
- A choker embedded with a microphone to increase the volume of her voice, allowing her to influence more terrain.
- Hip speakers to broadcast the music of her songs. She doesn’t exactly need music in order to use her Quirk, but she claims that it “adds to the effect”.
- A glove with a display screen that is wired directly to her speakers that allows her to choose which song to broadcast and sing to.
Everything was built by her brother, of course!

Gotta admit I'm actually impressed by the aftermath of the Treviso/Minrathous decision in datv, like I really truly and honestly wasn't expecting much from it. 'Oh please, the devs won't even let Rook be mean or morally questionable or more than a teensy bit snarky, they're not seriously going to punish me for this decision, there's no way they're actually going to try and make me feel more than a bit bad, they probably won't even let Neve or Lucanis actually be mad at me about it or hold it against me 😒'
But damn did they punish me for it. I chose to save Minrathous so now Treviso is infested with the blight. You lose all your fast travel points so you HAVE to walk through and see the consequences of your decision, and it's nasty. People are sick and blighted and there are rats everywhere. You have a side quest where you go after a couple of npcs you'd met recently and oh they were both blighted too, the kindest thing you can do for them is kill them to put them out of their misery.
Lucanis leaves the party for awhile and the game very directly tells you oh, he's cut off as a romance option now, you can't romance him anymore (which tbh I can't really blame him for). I honestly can't say I'm heartbroken over that because I wasn't interested in him as a romance option anyway, but when he comes back I hope he actually does resent me for it, especially since you know, he can't break his contract with me until the job is done so he's stuck with me. I would be pretty pissed if that were me.

(For the metroidvania) Mayhap a mix? Valuable space station goes down (likely doing something experimental/black ops) and some violent entity loots the tech and goes underground. Quite literally?
It's an idea for sure, though might risk losing some of the innate isolation that space provides. Could of course also be some kind of station built directly into an asteroid that proves to be hollow and containing mysterious stuff™ too etc
Part of the reason I'm so undecided is because there's a lot of competing factors involved? Like I want multiple different, and preferably at least somewhat interesting, biomes rather than have everything just be a series of progressively darker caverns, and I would like to be able to have at least the occasional "room", for lack of a better word, that opens up a bit and gives a sense of space rather than having just cramped tunnels and facilities everywhere.
At the same time though, I want the location to be physically isolated without having to rely too much on invisible walls? Like an island or a crater or a space station or something where you can't easily just leave without hitching a ride via aircraft or space ship or something?
It's one of those things that's easy to do in 2D because you can just wall the player in with discrete "rooms" while displaying an open expanse in the background via parallax scrolling, thus creating the illusion of a much larger open space without making said space possible to traverse. With 3D, there's far less of a distinction between playable space and background space, so it's harder to wall off in a way that feels natural - especially in a genre infamous for providing significant levels of traversal.
Plus there's also just the simple question of what kind of setting and situation might be cool to have etc - like it might also be interesting to allow players to occasionally move around in zero gravity, see Prey (2017) using space walking almost as a kind of fast travel system etc. Not to mention that all of this has implications for how the actual engine needs to be built - like there's a reason why Doom and Quake don't have a lot of wide open outdoor spaces, why Descent I and II takes place entirely within caverns, and why MechWarrior 2 is almost entirely just wide open space with relatively sparse and simple terrain and a minimal amount of structures you can walk into or otherwise interact with.
There's also the possibility of taking a page from the narrative setup behind Quake and use teleporters as a basis for how completely different locations can still somehow remain both related and interconnected, but at the moment it's all just really up in the air.
Especially since I still don't even have a working triangle rasterizer implemented, lmao.

Here is some behind-the-scenes commentary for my new animation, "Raymond's New (Cat) Groove"! I want to get out all my thoughts here before I forget anything. I'll be covering the entire video, so if you want to avoid spoilers, go watch it first!
First up is The Zoom! Ever since I started planning this animation 2+ years ago, I knew that this would be the first shot. Since zooming in on his eye would produce a mirrored view of the video, a double-zoom-out was necessary.
My original plan was to have the zoom be done purely in 3D. However, when it came time to implement it, I realized the shot did not look good when done realistically. The images distorted due to the curvature of the reflection, and Raymond's glasses got in the way due to how big and round his head is.
Also, even his iris was edited in. I made an HD version of his face texture, which you can see in how smooth the edge of his eye is, but because of the model's texture mapping (UVs), the iris was all distorted. I'm glad I edited in the new iris, though, because I got to make it even higher-resolution.
I already covered all the details on the laptop screen in a separate post, which you can find here.
The first good view of Raymond's room. For the most part, it is a recreation of his default room layout in New Horizons, with a few differences, such as his fax machine being removed. I didn't have all of the furniture models, so all the stuff that isn't shown directly (e.g. safe, water cooler, second desk) are super-low-poly recreations.
The laptop is from Splatoon 2. It is Marina's laptop, with all the stickers removed. If you look closely during the zoom out, you can see that the keys still have the Splatoon language keys.
Also, fun fact, his chair was a Froggy Chair as a placeholder until I got the office chair model. I was planning to keep it, too, if I couldn't get the office chair.
The animation's events really kick off once Raymond begins dreaming. The way his idea lightbulb lights up the room, and how the light persists afterward, is the first sign that things are not normal.
When I first started planning this, I had the New Leaf version of the office wallpaper in mind. While New Horizons has the windows completely obscured by blinds, the New Leaf version has a cityscape visible through the gaps in the blinds. I was originally planning to have the sky change, going from a fake sky to a vibrant real night sky.
Raymond reaches into his desk for the Ocarina of Time, giving the first style shift. This is another scene that I had in mind for years. Originally, I wanted this scene to be super-realistic. Instead of those cartoony leaves from the game, I wanted just a big pile of real-life dried up leaves, with labels written on them. They'd rustle and slide around when the drawer is pulled open just as you'd expect from leaves. I love the idea that, from an outsider's perspective, the villagers are just a bunch of adorably dumb animal children, gathering leaves and pretending they are furniture.
Here are all the leaf types in Raymond's desk. There are two "???" leaves, for a total of 10. Sadly, my favorite ones are completely hidden due to how the physics simulation worked out.
Speaking of physics, I meant to have Raymond pull the Ocarina out. However, every time I ran the simulation, everything freaked out the moment the Ocarina tried to move to his hand, causing the contents to fly out everywhere. Maybe later I'll render out that part for fun.
The Majora's Mask time travel scene. I had the scene ripped from when I was mapping the game, so recreating it was easy. I referenced footage from the game for the animation timing, which is why this and the Ocarina-playing scene are some of the only parts of the video that aren't overly fast-paced. If I had more time, I would have added in the light-blue sparkles that come off the items, just like in the game.
For the anime-esque sequence, the original idea was just to have the hair be flowing smoothly. At some point, I realized that drawing hair on the 3D model would look weird, so I decided to draw the whole thing. I've never really animated like this before, so it was a fun experiment. I posted the raw drawings in another post, here.
For the background, I wanted to reference the time travel scene in the cartoon Samurai Jack. However, the effect there is very intense and hard to look at, so I greatly toned down the flashing effect to the point of being unrecognizable.
Raymond crash-lands in the city from Animal Crossing for the Wii. All the trash that pop up are items from the game, of course. I chose an alleyway so that I didn't have to bother with assembling the city itself. While most of the scene is made from assets from the city, the brick texture is just one of the home wallpaper options.
Did you notice? Before Raymond puts his glasses on, the world is only in 480p, but when he puts them on (stylishly), the screen transitions to full 1080p. The Wii's resolution isn't 480p, but the original Cat Groove's is.
Also, this scene gives a clear example of one of the dream-like effects I used throughout the latter half of the animation. Take a close look at the placement of the bricks relative to the poster. Every time the camera changes, things subtly shift around! It's hard to notice because these are details you normally don't pay much attention to. My favorite use of this effect is in Yoshi's Island, where terrain details are randomized every time you enter a room.
It's not easy to make Raymond look happy when his expressions are normally so serious. Also, did you notice? The floor is entirely different in some shots. It has the same color palette and general design, so it feels the same, but the details and patterns are entirely different.
When the camera points up, you get a brief view of the highly-saturated night sky. Even though it's night, everything is brightly lit, another dream sign. By the way, there's supposed to be a chimney up there, but I guess I didn't put it close enough to the edge to be seen. I completely forgot about it until later.
Here is a closer look at one of the blimps flying in the sky. It's an edit of the Luigi blimp from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, with Rosie's face added on. This is actually an homage to an anime movie, something I rarely talk about. Specifically, the Madoka Magica movie. Rebellion.
Raymond meets a younger Dr. Shrunk at the club entrance, leading to another style shift. This is another scene I imagined for years. Those hands are actually Pikachu's from Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/Ultimate, with some clothes added on. Also, again, different floor.
While the art style here looks like late-'90s/early 2000s CGI, this wasn't intentional. I didn't realize the resemblance until after I had rendered it. I guess it's just a natural result of using smooth models with super-basic lighting and solid-color materials.
One idea that I'm sad I didn't have time to implement was that the text on the checklist was going to subtly change as Shrunk's hand passed over it. Just like a dream, the text would change every time you read it.
At the bottom there is the rule against allowing OCs in, the explanation for why Raymond can't get in. It continues out of frame, but you can see more of it when he puts the clipboard away. I even included doodles of some YouTuber OCs! Just for clarification, I have nothing against OCs, it just seemed like the funniest option.
The orb appears!
I am not great at special effects, so this was my best attempt at a reality-warping entrance effect. Sure, it's not very dynamic, but I like how it came out. The sound it makes is a distorted, reversed version of one of the Animal Crossing jingles.
I originally had a different ending in mind. Rather than dashing into the door, Raymond would have climbed up on top of the building to look for another way in. There, he would have seen the orb sinking into the roof.
Raymond achieves his dream! For this scene, I originally imagined it ending with that Undertale sound that plays when going through the dramatic exit door to the ruins. You know the one.
Also, darn walk cycles! This was the fifth one I had to animate in a row, using nothing but pure IK. If I wasn't so exhausted by that point, I might have thought to have the camera zoom in or something.
Raymond sleeps soundly while Cat Spin auto-plays. The snoring you hear is a recording of a real cat snoring, which I found on a free sound effect website. The main reason I included it was so that nobody thought Raymond was dead. His tiny arms don't really lend themselves well to a good sleeping pose.
So, why is Rosie there?? Well, originally, my plan was for the camera to look over at the whiteboard, where something like "Happy Anniversary Cat Groove" would be written on it. This is why the whiteboard is at an angle instead of parallel to the wall like normal. However, when I animated the scene, I didn't have the whiteboard yet.
When I finally got the whiteboard model, I realized I had overestimated its size, and sizing it up didn't look good. So, I had to find a way to fill the empty space above the board. I considered a banner or Rosie-shaped balloons, but I eventually settled on the most ridiculous option: having Rosie herself.
The End!
For the credits music, I chose the Smash remix of Bubblegum K.K., not just because of how many people associate it with Raymond (because of those singing videos people made), but because I just really like it. Other songs I considered were K.K. Disco and the Jimmy T. stage intro from WarioWare: Smooth Moves.
You may have noticed that I used very little of the song Catgroove in the video. Back when I made the original Cat Groove video, the video got a copyright claim, blocking it from being viewed by my European friends. I don't know if the company making the claim was legitimate or not, but I appealed and they removed the block.
Fast-forward a number of years, and Cat Groove was at hundrends of thousands of views, eclipsing everything else I've ever made. I decided that, as much as I enjoy his music, I didn't want to be mooching off of Parov Stelar's work. That's part of why I made Cat Spin, using only Nintendo music, to show the direction I wanted to go. Besides, if the video gets claimed, then I can't show it to all my friends. Otherwise, I might have chosen something like Jimmy's Gang for the credits music.
~
Anyway, that's all I had to say! The end result may be a bit rough, but I'm glad I finally got to bring this idea to life and share it with the world after years of tossing it around in my mind.
A big "Thank you!" to everyone who watched the video from start to finish! I don't know if/when I'll make another big animation like this, but I hope you'll look forward to whatever I make next.

ok finished the dlc (not 100% yet though) lol so here's my thoughts
positives:
INFINITE FLIGHT IS SO NICEEEE GETTING AROUND AREAS WITH A LOT OF CLIFFS DOESN'T FEEL LIKE A CHORE ANYMORE
the synchro machine is so cool. so cool. it's so much less restricted than i thought it would be, like as far as i can tell the only restrictions are that you don't really have any vertical mobility, and you can only do it in the terarium. i also imagine it'll be huge for shiny hunting things like minior since it makes auto battling so much smoother. also minior is back and that's another positive :D (EDIT: nevermind about the shiny hunting thing, just learned that your pokemon WILL kill shinies while using it. also now that i think about it, if you found a shiny while in sync mode you wouldn't be able to catch it anyways since when you exit sync mode you go back to your trainer's position and the shiny would despawn. still good for getting 60 ko's in outbreaks though. btw yes i learned this the hard way BUT fortunately i did think to save before trying it so the sacrificial shiny deerling has been caught)
i do like that bbqs give an incentive to just run around and do things you normally wouldn't, instead of just fast travelling everywhere. another thing that makes getting from place to place less tedious, since you feel like the journey is working towards other things on top of just getting where you need to be
the music!!! the music!!!
i immediately fell in love with all the elite four members lmao like their designs and personalities are so fun
the story is pretty good too! definitely not as good as the base game but either way, these games kept strong with the writing all the way through imo (by pokemon standards, anyway. lol)
the new pokemon designs are so cool!!! i think there's 3 i still haven't seen yet but i'm looking forward to them!
negatives:
THE RETURNING LEGENDARIES ARE SHINY LOCKED. WHY. if it weren't for the synchro machine and the fact that they play their original battle themes, i would have literally 0 incentive to encounter them (and i'm aware that that's just a me thing but like. come ON). i hope whoever came up with the idea of shiny locking pokemon has a noticeable stomach ache for the rest of their life.
also on the synchro machine, one annoying little thing about it is that you can't use it if you sent out your pokemon while riding ko/miraidon. as in, even if you get off your mount, you still have to retrieve your pokemon and send it back out before it lets you sync. i imagine this is unintended, and i hope they fix it but they don't really have a good track record of fixing small annoyances like this. (edit: nevermind???? i have no idea how it works actually. sometimes it just says you can't and doesn't say why)
i wish switch games would stop making their camera functions send pictures directly to the system's photo album instead of having an in-game album, and then having little repeatable tasks that require you to take pictures. i don't want 700 pictures of swimming pokemon clogging up my sd card, please at least have a "do you want to save this image" prompt or something
and that's all i can say for now! i still have a bunch of side stuff to do but there's my post-credits thoughts :) overall i really like the dlc!!! the negatives are all pretty small and are very much outweighed by the positives for me. just sucks about the shiny locks though >:/
#ghost town... 2!#pokemon#indigo disk spoilers#(i keep it vague but i'm still tagging spoilers anyways)#i'm now on the grind for bp to try and unlock what i assume to be the upgrade that makes the starters spawn#also waiting for pokemon home maintenance to end so i can just finish the dex that way lmao#i have a living dex so i might as well put it to use!

Sonic Adventure 2: Sonadow
Chapter 12: Road to Space Colony ARK
The Sonic Team flew to Egypt as fast as they could. They needed to find a hidden base as soon as possible before Eggman could activate the Ark. They needed to find a way to travel to the Ark before it became too late.
In this desert area, Rouge stood there using binoculars. She was searching carefully for any sign of life, hoping to find someone who could point him in the right direction towards the place where Sonic had said he knew a safe landing spot. But there were no life forms around that seemed like it belonged here. Not even animals. There was nothing but sand and rocks everywhere.
Then a blue biplane approached across the sky coming from the north direction. Its outline was unmistakable: a young fox carrying Sonic crew members on board. Rouge spoke to the walkie-talkie.
"Shadow! They're in that blue plane, spotted at 11 o'clock!" said Rouge.
"Copy that. I'm in pursuit," said Shadow through the walkie-talkie.
Then he headed off in the direction where the plane was leading, there was a pyramid at the distance that looked like it would lead them to the destination. He stopped there and watched the plane go down into the desert area. He spoke to Dr. Eggman through the walkie-talkie.
"Doctor, they're heading directly towards us. What should we do?" asked Shadow.
"Just sit tight. I've got them on my radar. There's no way they can get away. I don't know what they're planning, but I'll be sure to give them a warm welcome," said Eggman, smirking evilly.
*Meanwhile*
The Sonic team arrived at the desert area where the plane landed. The sun beat against their bodies, making it harder to breathe. They dismounted the plane and looked around at the surroundings. It appeared to be completely deserted.
"Here we are at Egypy. Boy, it is hot out here!" said Tails as he looked up at the hot sun.
"Yeah, that doesn't look promising. We'd better start looking quickly for something that might hide us in a cave nearby," said Sonic.
He shielded his hand over his eyes scanning around the area. Suddenly his vision was interrupted by a triangular building, it was a pyramid from the distance.
"Inside that pyramid?" asked Sonic.
"I saw Eggman go inside that pyramid and more importantly, I saw that bat girl go inside with him. as well. You saw them, too, right?" asked Knuckles.
Amy nodded, "Yes, I did. That's where we have to head. Let's try to find an entrance to the secret base."
"She's right. We should be able to get into outer space from there. I have no idea what this space colony is all about, but I'll find and destroy that cannon, and then kick their asses!" said Sonic.
"Alright!" said Knuckles.
Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles led the way while Amy was left behind.
"Wait for me, guys!" Amy shouted as unpacked her bag to pick out her big, pink water jug. She drank water that she had to stay hydrated before running in the hot sun.
"Ah, good thing I bring water with me," she said as she ran after them.
After that, they were inside that pyramid building, finding stairs going underground, and following the voices echoing through the pyramid walls, until they reached an intersection, which led to a large room. At the opposite end of the room was another pyramid with another corridor leading up. It was dark, the torches lit only by orange light.
"Whoa, this place is huge. Maybe we found something important?" asked Amy. She looked around cautiously, waiting for some sort of danger or trap to pop out at her. Then she looked at the walls, trying to read the symbols engraved along them.
"What are these?" she asked.
"They look Egyptian," answered Sonic. He studied them for a little bit and then turned to his friends. "These are hieroglyphics, from ancient Egypt.''
"Ancient Egypt? Is this an old tomb or something?" asked Tails.
"I learned them from school. Apparently, there used to be an ancient race called Egyptians, but now they disappeared, so we probably aren't talking about them anymore. Now, come on. Let's look further," said Sonic as he led the way deeper into the maze of tunnels. They walked and walked and still didn't find anything useful. Finally, Sonic stopped abruptly at the door, there was the Eggman logo engraved on it.
"Looks like we're heading toward the center of the base," said Tails.
"That egghead sure loves mechanical things, doesn't he? I bet he has one or two spaceships lying around here somewhere," said Sonic.
"The door is locked. We need a key to get in there," said Tails.
"Not a problem, we can find it, right, Knuckles?" asked Sonic.
"Huh? Me? Why do I have to find a key?" asked Knuckles, clearly confused.
"Because we're counting on you, buddy! The world's greatest treasure hunter!" exclaimed Sonic. He smiled and gave Knuckles a thumbs up.
"Well, alright! I'm going to find it," said Knuckles.
*15 minutes later*
Knuckles came back to his friends and he had found the key underground. After unlocking the door, Knuckles opened it wide enough for them to pass in front of him. "All right! Come on, let's see if there's anything valuable here," said Knuckles as they all went deeper into the room. There was a rocket in the hidden base, they were astounded at its size, and the power of its energy system. Amy and Tails smiled and laughed in excitement.
"This is it! We found the rocket!" exclaimed Amy happily.
"Amy, we did it!" exclaimed Tails.
Amy and Tails hugged each other and jumped up and down with joy. "We're going to Space Colony!" screamed Amy as she hugged Tails tighter. Sonic chuckled and Knuckles crossed his arms with a smile.
"You little thieves! Do you really think you can get out of here alive?" They turned around where the voice came from. It was Eggman.
"EGGMAN!" they all yelled in unison.
"This time, I'll take your lives as well as Chaos Emerald. I call on you to destroy these pests. Come out, my servant!" Eggman ordered. A ground rumbled underneath their feet, making the Sonic team stumbled. A rocky giant hand came out of the hole.
Sonic gasped in horror. Then the rock body came out of the hole entirely. He stared at a monster as big as a mountain, it opened its eyes glow red in anger, as if ready to attack.
"What the hell is that?!" screamed Knuckles.
"Oh, crap! This is not good! You guys ahead go to the spaceship! I'll take care of that rock guy!" yelled Sonic.
"No! You will not take care of that thing by yourself!" shouted Amy.
"Amy, you've gotta trust me! You have to leave! You won't make it out alive!" replied Sonic.
"Are you sure?" asked Tails, who was frightened by what he was seeing.
"I'll be okay. Don't worry about me. Just go!" yelled Sonic as he charged at the golem.
"SONIC!!!" screamed Amy, her hand reaching out.
"C'mon! We gotta go!!" yelled Knuckles, grabbing Amy's arm and pulling her away. As Amy was leaving, she glanced over her shoulder at Sonic who was facing the rock monster alone.
"Hey, rock guy! If you wanna fight, then fight! But let me warn ya, I am the greatest hero the universe has ever known!" Sonic bellowed with a loud battle cry.
The golem raised its fist and slammed on the center, but Sonic dodged it in the nick of time by leaping away to the side. As he moved forward, he was trying to find a weak spot on the golem's body when he saw something shining on the top of its head. With lightning speed, he ran up to the creature and grabbed ahold of the red pearl with both hands. In his grip, the creature lifted upward and threw him backward into the floor where it crashed hard. Once again he was sent flying in the air and landed heavily on the floor on his stomach. His breath was knocked out of his lungs.
"Son of a... Bitch!" groaned painfully Sonic.
Sonic weakly stood up holding his broken ribs. He took a deep breath in and breathed out loudly. Slowly, he regained his composer and began to concentrate his power. He slowly closed his eyes as his body glowed blue, the sound of buzzing and crackling, and the electricity surged through his body. His eyes widened open, and his irises glowed blue.
The golem slammed the azure hedgehog, but with lightning speed, Sonic dodged easily out of the way and ran in the direction the golem had just been thrown. Once he got there, Sonic launched himself at the beast and landed hard on its head breaking the red pearl. The golem staggered backward and fell on its face, unmoving, and completely immobilized.
Sonic rose to his feet. He panted, breathing deeply, his chest rising and falling rapidly. His whole body ached, and he collapsed to the ground all four, exhausted. His blue aura glowed down to his normal state.
He cracked one eye open and glared hatefully at the unconscious giant golem.
"Now that wasn't so difficult…" he whispered.
Inside the rocket, Tails began to activate the rocket's engines while Amy sat next to him, her face filled with worry that Sonic was going to come back.
"Is Sonic going to be okay?" asked Amy, anxiously.
"He'll be fine. He said he will catch up to us soon," said Tails.
"I hope he hurries up and defeats that monster," said Amy.
Tails started the engine, the fire began to ablaze from the nozzles preparing to liftoff. Knuckles fastened his seatbelt and looked over at Amy.
"Don't worry. Sonic will be here," said Knuckles.
Amy was about to say something, she turned her head to the window that the blue figure coming to the rocket. It was Sonic!
"You guys, it's Sonic! Sonic is here!" exclaimed Amy, happily.
"So he is!" exclaimed Tails.
The computer's male voice began the countdown.
"Prepare to liftoff. 10... 9... 8..."
Sonic hurried through the rocket door, ignoring the pain in his body. He had to go Tails quickly before the rocket departed.
"7... 6... 5..."
Sonic made it to the rocket and quickly sat down in his seat and fastened his seatbelt.
"4... 3... 2... 1... 0."
Suddenly, the rocket ignited and lifted off the ground, soaring into the sky above the Eggman base, high above the city, and then disappearing into the blackness of space. Sonic gazed upon the moon that shone brightly in the night sky. He felt content and happy. He closed his eyes for a brief moment until his eyes slowly opened.
"You okay, Sonic? Did you beat that rock guy?" asked Tails.
"Yeah, totally," answered Sonic.
"Well, that's good. Now, we don't have to worry about Eggman anymore," said Tails.
"Yeah, I guess that's true," replied Sonic. He sighed quietly. "Look, I know this sounds cheesy, but thank you for waiting for me. Without you guys, I would've missed the rocket launch and wouldn't have gotten back here in time to stop the ship from taking off," said Sonic, giving Tails a warm smile.
"It's nothing," answered Tails.
"You're awfully hurt, Sonic. Are you okay?" asked Amy.
"Yeah, just got thrown against a wall," lied Sonic, trying to convince them.
"I can mend your wound if you want," offered Amy.
"Uhh, sure," answered Sonic. "But don't do anything crazy."

The Ultimate Guide to Renting a Car in Saudi Arabia as a Tourist
Here’s why renting a car in Saudi Arabia for tourists makes total sense:
Flexibility: Plan your own schedule, stop wherever you like, and avoid relying on crowded transport options.
Comfort: Choose from modern, air-conditioned vehicles that suit your needs, whether it’s a solo trip or a group adventure.
Access: Some of the Kingdom’s best sights, like Al Ula, the Empty Quarter, or remote Red Sea beaches, are best reached by car.
Value: With affordable rental rates, especially for multi-day trips, car hire in Saudi Arabia is often more budget-friendly than taxis or intercity transport.
Ready to explore on your own terms? Start browsing options here!
Required Documents & International Driving Licenses
Here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
1. A Valid Passport
Make sure it’s valid for at least 6 months. Your entry visa will be reviewed alongside it.
2. A Valid Tourist Visa
Most tourists enter Saudi Arabia on an e-Visa, and that’s perfectly acceptable for car rental purposes.
3. A Recognized Driver’s License
Licence compatibility: Your driving licence must match the type of vehicle you intend to drive.
Translation of International Driving Permit: Visitors on a tourist visa must have their International Driving Permit legally translated into Arabic by an accredited authority licence correctly.
Validity period: As per Article 42 of Saudi Arabia’s Traffic Law, an international or foreign driving licence is valid for up to one year from the date of your arrival in the Kingdom or until the licence expires, whichever comes first.
Driving as a GCC resident: Residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries can use their GCC-issued driving licence, provided it is valid.
4. A Credit Card
Most rental companies, including Key Car Rental, require a credit card for payment and security deposit purposes.
Top Tips for Driving in Saudi Arabia as a Foreigner
Once you’ve got your rental car, it’s time to hit the road. Driving in a new country always comes with questions, but the good news is that Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure is excellent. The rules are easy to adapt to.
Here’s what you need to know before getting behind the wheel:
Drive on the Right Side of the Road: Saudi Arabia follows the standard right-hand driving system, similar to the U.S., most of Europe, and the Gulf region.
Speed Limits Are Strictly Enforced: Most highways have clear signage (usually 120 km/h max), and cameras are everywhere. Stick to posted limits, fines can be steep.
No Phones While Driving: Using a phone while driving is prohibited unless you’re using hands-free. Make sure your rental car has Bluetooth connectivity or a dashboard mount.
Parking in City Centers Can Be Tricky: In places like downtown Riyadh or near malls in Jeddah, parking spots can be tight. Use designated lots or ask your hotel for the best parking areas.
Use Google Maps or Careem Maps: Navigation is straightforward in major cities, and most tourists rely on Google Maps, but Key Car Rental’s cars are compatible with phone-based GPS systems too.
Respect Prayer Times: While roads stay open, some businesses or services may temporarily pause during prayer times. Plan fuel stops and breaks accordingly.
Ready to drive with confidence? Find your rental car here and get rolling in minutes.

Adana Magazin Is The Hub For Daily Real-Time Updates

If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably experienced that awkward moment when you hear the latest news two hours after everyone else. Yeah, not fun. That’s where Adana Magazin slides in like your reliable buddy who’s always got the scoop before anyone else even sips their morning coffee.
Honestly, I remember back in the day when news felt like a slow crawl — like waiting for dial-up internet to connect. Now? It’s all about real-time updates. And Adana Magazin is hands down the best at keeping you in the loop, fast and fresh.
Why Adana Magazin Feels Like Your Neighborhood Newsstand
Real-Time Means Right Now
No kidding, Adana Magazin delivers news so fast, you’ll wonder if they have reporters plugged into the matrix. Whether it’s breaking headlines or local buzz, this platform drops updates like hot potatoes — but in a good way.
Instant alerts that make you go “Wait, what? Already?”
On-the-ground reporting straight from local insiders
Continuous coverage that never leaves you hanging
It’s like having your own personal news crew in your pocket. Well, minus the camera crew and fancy microphones.
Local Stories That Actually Matter
You know how some news sites just throw random stuff at you like a broken vending machine? Adana Magazin doesn’t do that. They focus on what’s relevant for the people around you.
Remember when that weird construction noise kept waking me up for weeks? Yeah, Adana Magazin was all over that. They gave the real deal — who was behind it, when it would stop, and how to complain without sounding like a cranky neighbor.
What Makes Adana Magazin’s Style So Addictive?
Friendly, No-Fluff Reporting
Let me tell ya, reading news can be a drag. So many sites sound like robots, all stiff and boring. But Adana Magazin? It talks to you like a pal — casual, no jargon, no need for a dictionary.
I once spilled coffee on a printed article from them — yep, wrote it by hand, classic me. The messy stains didn’t even matter because the writing was that good. Kept me hooked through every line.
Deep Dives Without Snoozing
Sometimes, news needs a little extra attention — maybe an explanation or a quick history lesson. Adana Magazin throws in quirky tidbits that make you go, “Huh, never thought about it like that.”
For example, did you know that the first newspaper was actually handwritten by monks? Kinda wild, right? Makes you appreciate how much faster news travels today — especially with Adana Magazin leading the pack.
The Secret Sauce: How Adana Magazin Stays So Quick and Reliable
A Network of Local Reporters
Think of Adana Magazin as a giant spider web with reporters scattered everywhere. They’re the ears and eyes on the ground, feeding info directly back to headquarters. So when something happens, it’s already being covered before you finish your morning toast.
Tech That’s Almost Too Smart
I don’t wanna geek out too much, but their system uses some fancy tech — like AI that actually helps humans decide what to share first. It’s like having a superhero sidekick that makes sure you don’t miss a beat.
(If you ask me, sometimes I think they have a newsroom bat-signal.)
How Adana Magazin Fits Into Your Daily Life
Morning Routine Upgrade
I always check Adana Magazin over my morning coffee. It’s kinda like tuning into a radio show — except with visuals and way cooler stories. It sets the tone for my day and makes me feel less like I’m living under a rock.
Stay Ahead at Work or School
Nothing beats that feeling when you casually drop the latest news at work or school, and everyone’s like, “Whoa, how do you know that?” Yup, you got it from Adana Magazin. Instant street cred.
Fun Things You Didn’t Know About Adana Magazin
They Love Keeping It Real
No fancy dress codes or corporate speak here. The team behind Adana Magazin is full of folks who love their community and just wanna share what matters — with a dash of humor and plenty of heart.
Sometimes They Even Surprise Themselves
I heard a story about a reporter who accidentally walked into a local festival thinking it was a news event. Ended up joining the dance instead of reporting. That’s the kind of quirky, human vibe they bring to the table.
Final Thoughts: Why I Keep Coming Back to Adana Magazin
I gotta admit — I’m kind of a news junkie. But Adana Magazin makes it fun and easy. It’s like chatting with a friend who knows everything that’s going on but won’t lecture you.
If you want your daily dose of updates — fresh, fast, and friendly — you really can’t go wrong with Adana Magazin.
Plus, if I ever get lost in a maze of confusing headlines, I know Adana Magazin will guide me back out. Like that one time I got stuck in my cousin’s attic for an hour... but that’s a story for another day.
So yeah, if you haven’t checked out Adana Magazin yet, maybe give it a shot. It’s the kind of news source that makes you go, “Ah, that’s what I needed today.”
And who knows? You might even spot a typo or two in their stories — hey, nobody’s perfect, not even them.

The Future of Finance: 5 Ways Expense Management Software Improves Team Efficiency
With such a fast-moving business climate, saving time means making money. Lack of financial efficiency, delayed calls to move forward, and cross-reimbursement processes can result in both lost profits and productivity for businesses. It is here that expense management software becomes useful. Beyond tracking costs, there are additional important considerations. It’s all about encouraging your teams to achieve great outcomes with fewer resources.
As more things are automated in the future, using TrackOlap’s expense management software becomes essential for busi nesses to make their finance processes more efficient and encourage better team results.
Let’s see how this software is changing the future of finance and helping to increase productivity everywhere.
1. Real-Time Tracking Eliminates Delays
One major factor that hinders productivity is being unable to accomplish tasks due to delays in getting approval, items, or information. Manually monitoring expenses is both slow and often leads to mistakes.
With the use of expense management software, your teams can:
You can submit expenses as soon as they happen from any gadget.
Attach receipts digitally
Get real-time approval notifications
As a result, you won’t have stacks of paper, misplace your bills, or have to repeat your calls. Having instant access to all expenses helps finance managers respond immediately and lets employees put their efforts into what is most important for them.
Example:
As soon as a visit with a client is completed, the field sales executive files fuel and travel bills directly in TrackOlap , Manager approval comes almost immediately, and any reimbursements are handled on time. Simple, fast, and efficient.
2. Automation Reduces Manual Errors
Besides being boring, manual entry means mistakes often happen, leading to losses for your company in terms of both cost and time.
TrackOlap helps you manage your expenses by using automation.
Categorize expenses
Detect duplicate claims
Enforce company policies
Auto-generate reports
This way, errors are found right away and policies are followed, all without the need for constant monitoring.
Integrated Tools = More Efficiency
It can be easily used with management software and specialist lead tools so that data needed for budgeting, lead cost tracking, and travel expenses is all in one place.
3. Simplified Reporting Saves Time for Everyone
If people on the team don’t get the reporting process, they most likely either leave it alone or, worse, do it incorrectly. Both situations have effects on the workplace’s productivity and strictness to rules.
Expense management software nowadays makes life much simpler by covering everything from one place.
Pre-built report templates
Drag-and-drop receipt uploads
Fill in the information automatically using records
With a finance automation system, there is no need to look through spreadsheets to get detailed data. And employees? Employees can enter and submit their expenses with ease.
Empowering Decision-Making
With TrackOlap, you can see all your data live using their customizable filters.
Department-wise spending
Project-based cost analysis
Expense trends and anomalies
Therefore, managers can decide quickly and create better financial plans for their companies.
4. Remote Accessibility Enhances Field Team Efficiency
Since teams are often not in the same office, it’s necessary to have a solution that is accessible at home, on the go, and in different locations.
TrackOlap’s cloud-based expense management software:
Works on mobile and desktop
Syncs across devices in real-time
Supports geo-tagging for on-the-field expenses
As a result, teams working in the field, as well as remote staff and project managers, can keep working from anywhere. Collecting the documents required for audit results in better reimbursements, easy audits, and less trouble with communication.
Real-World Scenario:
An on-site project supervisor in a rural area incurs a material procurement expense. As soon as the report arrives at HQ, the manager checks the cost against the set budget targets (using their software) and moves forward with processing.
5. Centralized Controls Improve Team Accountability
Using different spreadsheets and sending reports through email is a common way that silos are created. By keeping track of expenses centrally, businesses are more organized, honest, and responsible.
Expense management software allows:
Customized approval hierarchies
Role-based access
Limits on what departments or teams can spend
As a result, teams are able to help reduce costs and manage what they spend proactively. It’s no longer necessary for managers to closely supervise, and employees have to take care of their own spending.
Enhanced Controls with TrackOlap:
Decide on a maximum amount for daily expenses among crew members and projects.
Set up alerts to notify you when your team goes over its budget.
Create an export of your accounts for use in an audit with just one click.
This centralized way of working means that each rupee can be tracked with minimal admin effort.

Taxi Near Me: The Smart Way to Book Local Taxi Services and Taxi Online
In today’s fast-paced world, people no longer have the time to wait endlessly for transportation. Whether it’s a trip to the airport, a late-night outing, or a quick visit to the doctor, the first thing that comes to mind is finding a “taxi near me.” The convenience of locating a cab close to your location has become an essential part of urban life. With technology advancing at full speed, the idea of standing on the street and waving at random taxis has quickly faded. Now, with a few taps on your smartphone, you can connect to local taxi services instantly.

The Rise of Local Taxi Services in Every Neighborhood
Across cities and small towns alike, local taxi services are growing stronger than ever. People often assume that only major cities offer reliable transport options, but local providers are proving that quality taxi service exists everywhere. Whether you’re in a suburban area or a remote town, these local fleets are making it easier to travel without stress. They know the streets better than anyone, offer flexible pricing, and often provide a more personal touch. When someone searches for a "taxi near me," these neighborhood drivers are the ones who respond fastest, arriving at your door within minutes.
Taxi Online: The Future of Booking Your Ride
Gone are the days when you had to call a dispatcher and wait for an uncertain arrival. Today, Taxi Online booking has taken over as the preferred method of securing a ride. Apps and websites now allow users to book a taxi from anywhere, track the vehicle in real-time, and even pay through digital wallets. This method saves time and provides transparency. You know who your driver is, how much you’ll be charged, and how long the wait will be. The phrase "book a taxi online" is now as common as ordering food or groceries, and it’s transforming how people view transportation.
Why Searching Taxi Near Me Is the First Step to Convenience
When you need a quick ride, typing “taxi near me” into your phone isn’t just about finding the closest vehicle—it’s about peace of mind. Whether you’re in a hurry or just want to avoid the hassle of public transport, having a cab come directly to your location is a game-changer. With GPS-based apps and improved mapping systems, these searches are more accurate than ever. They connect you instantly to local taxi services that are just around the corner, reducing wait times and eliminating guesswork. It’s no wonder people rely heavily on this method every day.
How Local Taxi Services Compete with Big Ride-Sharing Apps
While international ride-sharing platforms dominate the headlines, local taxi services are still a preferred choice for many. Why? Because they offer more than just a ride. They offer familiarity, accountability, and in many cases, better pricing. Local drivers know shortcuts, traffic patterns, and customer preferences better than a global app ever could. They build trust with passengers who prefer personal attention over algorithm-driven experiences. When someone searches for a “taxi near me,” local providers are often more responsive, flexible, and eager to deliver top-notch service.
Taxi Online Systems Make Traveling Safer and Smarter
One of the biggest benefits of Taxi Online systems is safety. You know who your driver is, what kind of car is arriving, and exactly when it’ll get there. Most apps also include safety features like driver ratings, emergency contact options, and route sharing. This level of transparency builds confidence, especially for women, senior citizens, and late-night travelers. In uncertain times, people want control over how they travel, and online taxi systems give them just that. Booking a “taxi near me” through a trusted app or service eliminates guesswork and ensures a secure journey from start to finish.
Affordability Meets Quality in Local Taxi Services
Contrary to popular belief, local taxi services are often more affordable than their global competitors. With no hidden charges, peak-hour surcharges, or inflated rates, these services focus on providing honest and fair pricing. Most local operators also offer loyalty programs, flat-rate airport trips, and discounts for repeat customers. When someone urgently needs a “taxi near me,” affordability becomes just as important as speed. Local drivers understand this and do their best to combine quick service with reasonable fares, making them a smart choice for budget-conscious travelers.
Taxi Near Me Searches Increase During Emergencies and Rush Hours
Unexpected situations demand fast action. Whether it’s a medical emergency, a last-minute flight, or just running late to work, searching for a “taxi near me” becomes the first solution. In these urgent moments, local drivers are often quicker to respond than any other mode of transport. With Taxi Online options, you don’t even need to talk to anyone—just tap, confirm, and go. These systems are built to handle pressure and time-sensitive bookings, helping you get where you need to be without unnecessary delays.
Eco-Friendly Moves by Local Taxi Services
Many local taxi services are now upgrading to hybrid or electric vehicles to meet environmental standards and reduce their carbon footprint. This shift not only benefits the planet but also offers riders a cleaner, quieter, and smoother ride. When people search for a “taxi near me,” they may unknowingly be contributing to a greener world. Sustainable transport is no longer a trend—it’s a necessity. By choosing local services that prioritize the environment, passengers become part of the solution while enjoying the comfort they deserve.
Conclusion: One Keyword Away from Your Next Ride
The next time you need to get somewhere quickly, remember that you’re just one step away from convenience. Type “taxi near me” and let the power of local taxi services and Taxi Online platforms take over. You’ll be amazed at how easy, fast, and secure it is to travel today. With reliable drivers, smart booking systems, and personalized attention, your next ride is always within reach—literally. Skip the long waits, ditch the stress, and make every journey smoother by embracing the new era of modern, local transportation.

The combination of ingredients and the presentation of this Lebanese Sfeeha on Pita made for a unique and delicious dish. What is Sfeeha? It’s a Lebanese dish that is a mixture of ground lamb or beef with spices that is made inside a formed piece of bread. They are lovely but the bread makes them time consuming; making Lebanese Sfeeha on Pita with the same ingredients but using pita bread makes for a wonderful and MUCH easier dish to prepare. Customarily served with a salad; this dish has it all wrapped together. I first made Lebanese Sfeeha on Pita almost 15 years ago and thought it was time to introduce it to new readers. It sounds so strange, it was a true leap of faith, but trust me if you can, it is SO good! I’m not Lebanese but over the years I have become interested in trying things from different cultures and countries and it’s been a fun adventure. Maybe not as exciting as traveling but certainly fun in its own way. Want to save this recipe? Enter your email & I’ll send it to your inbox. Plus, get great new recipes from me every week! My international culinary journey started with my contribution to the Peko Peko Charity Cookbook. I was asked to contribute a dish, something simple that most of us could actually make for our families and I had recently seen something I thought perfect; Sweet Potato French Fries that were seasoned with Furikake. FuriWhatkee was my first thought. But my friend Rachael, the infamous LaFujimama said I could find some at an Asian market. I was on Google within moments and discovered an H Mart within 15 minutes of my home and I was on my way! Fast forward 2 months. In the interim I’d been to the H Mart a couple of times. A second time where I discovered that the pork belly I had looked EVERYWHERE for in order to make Maple Bourbon Bacon was readily available and in a variety of cuts! On a subsequent visit, I brought some blogging friends with me and an employee suggested we also take a peek at the Arash International Market, which was directly across the street. Of course we did! What a find! Spices galore only previously located at specialty spice stores. Sumac which I have previously only used for a favorite olive oil dipping sauce, Pomegranate Molasses which I had only seen before at a local spice shop at a ridiculously high price, some fabulous pita bread and Tahini, which is basically ground sesame seeds and a necessary part of hummus which I wanted to try making (and did; loved this made from scratch Artichoke Hummus). It was fortuitous that a day or two later, I saw a blogging friend, Kalyn Denny tout a blog she had found and loved called Taste of Beirut. I went to check it out and lo and behold, the first dish I saw, this Lebanese Sfeeha on Pita, required in addition to ground beef – pomegranate molasses, tahini, sumac and pita bread; all items I had brought home from my international shopping spree. Didn’t it seem that fate was calling me to make this dish? I thought so! I have to admit…grinding up ground beef in my processor to make a paste for Lebanese Sfeeha on Pita…that alone was unique but I also imagined that 7 spice was simply Chinese 5 spice with a couple more spices. I was so wrong; seven spice includes the following spices; I’ve given amounts of you need to mix your own (also included in printable recipe card at the bottom of this post): 2 tablespoons black pepper 2 tablespoons cinnamon 2 tablespoons paprika 1 tablespoon turmeric 1 tablespoon coriander 1 tablespoon cumin 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper 5 tablespoons garam masala (optional though some consider it a nice backdrop to the other seven spices. I love it and had some on hand so did include it in my spice mix). And I didn’t have Labneh, Lebanese yogurt cheese (which I’ve since found I can get at Arash) but had some queso cheese that Andrea had left behind from our blogger meeting. Why not? Mild and firm, I imagined it would be fine. And it was. Other substitutions include Greek yogurt or cream cheese. Simple, yes. Delicious? That too. So delicious that I’ve made it several times and again, years later, I had friends over this past weekend when I served it for them. No one had ever heard of it or tasted it and they were equally surprised at how delicious it is..this time it went on the grill. Even better with that bit of smokiness. Lebanese Sfeeha on Pita is sort of a tortilla; rolled up to eat in a Lebanese roll in a very similar manner. I’ve yet to try making the bread to roll it up; this is too easy and delicious; did I mention easy? But the taste is from the other side of this world and it was divine. Honestly I still can’t believe I made a paste with ground beef but I’m over it; sure it’s unique and not something that is typically done in the US, but isn’t that the beauty of learning some foods from different cultures. I am so hooked!
