Hi I like Evan now (I went from actually fighting to have an opinion on him to now truly believing only I understand him)

I think Evan is the type of friend that bullies and degrades his closest friends (Reg and Barty) but they don’t mind at all. Like, they all bully each other but Evan just hits different. And the best example of that is in the nicknames.

Evan calls Regulus ‘Rex’ casually (I saw a fic where Barty called him that and they had a reason for it, but I forgot what it was. But I remember I liked it, and you should too) which Regulus doenst mind at all BUT. Evan ALSO calls refers to him as his ‘wife’ only kind of ironically (because Evan’s mother has wanted Evan and Regulus married since they were like three) and if ANYONE else joked about the impending doom of arranged marriage concerning Regulus (ESPECIALLY if you’re a trans regulus believer like a true alpha and can see the nuance of how this is the biggest damper his forcibly feminine identity will put on his life) he would skin them alive and cure their skin into leather and make them into a sharpening rag for future endeavors. But Evan? He just gets an eyeroll.

And Barty? Even Evan knows not to call him by his full name because Barty is crazy and he’s not THAT stupid. But he is also crazy and petty so he doesn’t even flinch to call Barty ‘Junior’ on a regular basis. Literally anyone else who even BEGAN to utter that name at Barty would have gotten punched and set on fire before they could finish. But Evan doenst even get a reaction.

Aka Barty and Regulus are Evan’s bitches and they don’t even know it (Evan absolutely does tho)

sorry guys I'm in my feels again. It just.. it could've been so good. It should've been so good. QSMP was fully able to be the best server ever made and to have so much content and longevity and.. I just. It wasn't just a server, it was an idea, you know? An ambition to represent a mission bigger than the server itself; uniting people from all around the world and getting them to communicate and bond. Having it fail so spectacularly and leave so much undone hurt 100x more because we all know what the QSMP could have been, and to have a goal so noble be executed so terribly and fizzle out is just... Idk man, it's just sad. The QSMP really was something so so special that won't really be recreated and it just had so much potential. We saw all of it's epic highs so we know what we've lost. It could have been so good if they did it right. I don't know how to encapsulate how I feel about it other than just really really sad.

Okay, but I've been thinking about this post and all the ways the lightning is for Eddie what the wells was for Buck but right now is downing on me just how similar the circumstances are. It's just a regular old day on the job. Both Eddie and Buck volunteered in to the rescue. Buck has Eddie's line on the well and Eddie has Buck's during that fire. The literal rain at night aspect of it all. The danger being triggered by lightning. The team as audience. The lack of care about their own well-being while trying to reach the other. The way they are both screaming the other's name as they do something that's totally not the logical thing to do at that moment, since there's no way Buck can dig enough to get to Eddie by hand and there's no way Eddie can defy gravity and pull Buck up to him. The helplessness of the way that both of them have to let someone else do something, with Eddie having to lower Buck to Bobby and Buck accepting he needs to wait and use the help of the rest of the LAFD to find Eddie. There's also things like Eddie being the first thing Buck remembers in the coma dream and Buck being in the first memory in Eddie's I need to keep fighting montage. There's also this. The helpless look while Bobby screams out instructions.

And we know the well is pivotal for Eddie in the whole buddie of things since the well triggers the will so Eddie figured something out down there and Buck has to learn something with the lightning as well, so patterns? Maybe?
