Since this is something I've heard people wonder about: Zain/Zayn are Arabic in origin. The former tends to be more common. Any other form is completely different. It's Arabic for beautiful. Javadd is also Arabic and means generous. It can also be spelled Jawad/Jawwad/Javaad/Javad. Malik is Arabic for king. Personally, I think the name is more than fitting

The gucci ads continue to be exciting but last night Harry gave us an even greater gift; a picture of himself holding up a sheet of paper, an invitation, nay an obligation to meme! He was first photographed on a plane without his knowledge which sucks but it is nice to see him giggling happily (at his phone) and then after by a fan at the airport in Cancun, who took the pic that I have already seen with at least 50 different messages on that piece of paper, bravo fandom. He was in Cancun this time last year as well for a vacation with James Corden and some others, it's thought to be a repeat trip. But the gucci ad machine never goes on vacation, we still got that content flooding in! Another voiceover spot, this time Harry's early memory of his mother's perfume, a behind the scenes snippet of all the models gyrating and flailing around the bonfire though Harry's is more of an awkward shuffle in this particular clip at least, he liked a Harris Reed pic of Harris with a window display, and Allessandro posted a pic with the models in a row except for Harry who is seated above and cut off except for his big ol bare feet.

New York DJ Mike Adam, always happy to chat about the boys, responded the other day to a tweet asking if his Louis interview (cancelled when TOU promo was halted) had been rescheduled- he said he hadn't heard anything from Louis' team and "I imagine when he has a new song that's when promo touring will begin" (which sounds to me like he feels it would be normal to hear from them at that point.) Chandler Chruma (Arista Records' VP of promotion for the US West Coast) chimed in to say that "nothing is happening with our team ATM" but that when it did Mike would definitely be contacted. Some people were very upset by this, feeling that the team should already be scheduling these things for whatever promo will be upcoming for the anticipated single and interpreting the "nothing is happening" as evidence that, well, nothing at all was happening re: Louis music and releases, and many people took their frustrations over what they perceived as Louis' promotion being given short shrift or delayed to her. She responded by tweeting "I don't think a lot of people understand how radio promotion works!" and offering to do a livestream or chat on the subject. You don't get to be a woman in a position like hers without getting very good at dealing with mansplainers but should she really have to bust out those skills to deal with fansplainers too? I find Chandler's interest in and engagement with the fandom promising and look forward to seeing how they do. As for whether this means that he won't have new music out anytime soon, we certainly don't know what will or won't happen, but I don't think we have seen anything to suggest it won't be. I would assume UK/Europe promo would happen first during which time they could schedule US promo which, oh yeah, is exactly how we saw things happen during TOU promo!

Posts are circulating about Zayn changing his YouTube name from Zayn to Malik Zain Javaad, his birth name (surname first), which would indeed be exciting but doesn't seem to be true, and Justin Bieber liked a pic of Zayn posted by a fan account.

Louis followed Jamie Hartman, a songwriter who co-wrote on the registered (a long time ago on both GEMA and BMI) but unreleased song Secret Heart, Liam liked and commented on lots of posts including Ed Sheeran dressed as a panda, TWO sexy near naked man pics, Stella Maxwell showing off some tongue acrobatics (girl we get it, you're gay but I always enjoy a reminder so carry on) and Shawn Mendes and a kid in matching sparkly outfits, while Niall posted a pic of a watch with a caption thanking his "Omega pack family" and checked in from the golf course to tell us his ball was inconveniently located. Perfectly located- his earring! In his ear hole! Nice.

Acordei sentindo a luz do sol bater em meu rosto, passei a mão no lugar ao meu lado e estanhei, estava vazio. Será que ela esqueceu? Gemi levantando, com preguiça peguei meu celular e avistei uma mensagem dela.

“Amor, tive uma emergência no trabalho e tive que sair às pressas”

Bufei irritado por saber que ela tinha esquecido, (S/N) nunca foi boa com datas, mas meu aniversário ela nunca esquecia, e mesmo que estivesse ocupada, ela sempre me ligava, mas hoje não, ela esqueceu mesmo.

Liguei para os caras, mas todos estavam ocupados, pelo jeito vou passar meu aniversário sozinho, ja minha família estava em Londres e não teve como eles virem, confesso que eu queria estar lá, mas por conta de alguns compromissos meus, eu não pude ir. Eu recebia ligações de amigos, até mesmo parentes meus me parabenizando, fico feliz que eles nunca esquecem, minha mãe me ligou e disse que logo viria me ver, mas a pessoa que eu mais queria aqui comigo me trocou para ficar no trabalho, não que eu esteja reclamando, mais poxa, tínhamos tantos planos para hoje.

A noite chegou e eu estava frutado no sofá, eu podia até sair, mas comemorar aniversário sozinho é muito sem graça. (S/N) chegou e estranhei por ela estar bem arrumada, quando me viu pulou em meu colo, sem que eu pudesse dizer nada ela apenas me beijou.

- Zayn, tenho algo para você, mas antes coloque isso. - Ela me entregou uma venda e meu peito subia e descia rapidamente por conta da curiosidade.

Fui guiado até o carro dela, curioso, eu perguntava para onde estávamos indo e ela apenas ria me pedindo calma. O carro parou e ela guiou-me novamente, ouvi sua voz dizendo que já podia tirar a venda e assim o fiz.

- SURPRESA. - Minha família e amigos gritaram e eu sorri sem palavras.

Depois de agradecer a todos que estavam ali, pude finalmente agradecer a quem mais merecia ali, avistei ela sentada ao lado de minha mãe, e logo seu olhar parou em mim, fui até ela que se levantou para me beijar.

- Muito obrigada meu amor, você é realmente incrível. - A beijei e ela passou os braços pelo meu pescoço e sorriu. - Eu te amo muito.

- Nós também te amamos. - Me olhou sorrindo e eu paralisei, nós?

- Você está? MEU DEUS. - Ela assentiu e eu sinto meu coração pular. - Eu vou ser pai? EU VOU SER PAI! - Grito animado e ela ri enquanto eu acaricio sua barriga. - Amor, mas se você está grávida, vou ter que ficar 9 meses sem sexo?

- Puta merda Zayn você só pensa nisso. - (S/N) diz enterrando sua cabeça em meu pescoço enquanto eu e os demais caiamos na gargalhada por conta do meu comentário.
