Prime Dottore - About You:

"If you were expecting me to... gush about them and whatnot, then your expectations are nonsensical. I have nothing to share with you about them. I merely have three things to say. Do not get close to them, do not make them upset, and do not get in my way, regardless of what I have to do to make them better."

Omega - About You:

"...[Name]? Their time is far too valuable to be spent around the likes of you. Speaking of, have you seen them? ...You say they're with another segment now? A pity. It's a shame they're always swept away by the others. I could please them far more than anyone else in any matter. I suppose I will need to think of a way to retrieve them yet again."

Alpha (Akademiya) - About You:

"Do you know how many pens and pencils I've broken due to [Name]? Even centuries later they still find the need to debate me on certain topics, academic or not, challenge my research and thinking, and criticize my handwriting. Truly an annoyance. If only they were able to be with me a bit longer... What? They are annoying, but I still acknowledge that they have the traits of a true scholar. And their voice is still much more agreeable than the others I have to work with..."

Beta (Webttore) - About You:

"Hehe, what a loyal assistant they are. They can pick apart different parts and mechanics with ease. Much more competent than that man I disposed of a while ago, on that expedition... along with all the others. Unfortunately, I only have a limited amount of time with them. Really, is it so difficult to find someone with even a third of their ability? Actually, that is a foolish question. No one could ever hope to compare to them."

Delta - About You:

"They have an exceptional talent for pestering me at any given moment, somehow seeking me out wherever I am easily. If only they could put their mind into something more productive. Why do I not simply ignore them? Because they do not stop until they've gotten their desired results, just like me. I'd rather not prolong their prodding.

Zeta - About You:

"... As long as they are well, I need not know anything else. Their health is of utmost priority."

Zandy - About You:

"[Name]? Oh, they're the best, most nicest and fun grown-up ever! I'm never alone now that they're around! They're always willing to play with me and they always yell at the other segments when they're being mean. They're never scared at all... [Name] could probably beat Prime in a fight if they wanted. Hmm? But they can't even throw a punch? That doesn't matter! They're much stronger than you think - I've witnessed it many times."

Pierro - About You:

"When I first recruited Dottore from the desert and gave him his Harbinger position, one of the first things he did was set up a room to monitor [Name]'s condition. He did so for hundreds of years, creating numerous segments to help, and it ended up paying off. It is not my place to pry into his life, as long as he fulfills his duties as the Tsaritsa requests, but now that they're by his side again, he seems... never mind."

Capitano - About You:

"I once encountered them when they managed to sneak out of the lab. They were... intriguing and talkative. They weren't scared in the slightest and were more interested in how I managed to befriend all the creatures near me. They wanted... tips on how to convince the Doctor to let them have a pet. I don't think I was very helpful."

Columbina - About You:

"The Doctor is engrossed with his research, but the only thing he truly has a soft spot for is his dearest [Name]. He hides his feelings exceptionally well, but anyone who witnesses him around them can tell the difference. Don't tell him I said this though, you know how he'll act.~ But do tell [Name] this, they're sure to get flustered. ♪"

Arlecchino - About You:

"They have made attempts to get closer to me, but I'm afraid I have no interest in building a relationship with them. Still, I've always thought that their character would be similar to that of the Doctor, but from what I've seen of them, that does not seem to be the case. So, I do wonder if those two opposites truly get along."

Pulcinella - About You:

"I have seen many things in this long life of mine, so unlike many others, their relationship with Dottore does not surprise me too much. Still, they have much to learn if they feel the need to come and ask me for relationship advice. If you ask me, I believe that they don't truly know how much the Doctor values them, even if it is as clear as day."

Wanderer - About You:

"The Doctor's little pet? Every time I saw them, they were always scurrying behind one of the segments, as if they were attached by the hip. I don't know what transpired between the two of them for this relationship to happen, but out of all the people who associate with Dottore, they're bound to meet the nastiest end."

"The Doctor? [Name]? I have no care for either of them. I am much too busy with my own work to think about his worthless love life. However, I do suppose the idea is entertaining - Dottore being capable of love is as laughable as thinking an Automaton can learn to cherish another, and this [Name] person is equally as idiotic for believing so."

La Signora - About You:

"[Name], you say? I can't claim to know much about them. Everything I've heard is through the mouths of others, mostly from agents who talk more than what's good for them, but especially the Balladeer. What are they really like - a harmless and fragile sweetheart? A tool for the Doctor? His equally as heartless accomplice? Or all of the above? All I can say, however, is that it takes one to know one, right?"

Pantalone - About You:

"Ah, the little one. I am more than familiar with them, although Dottore would loathe to hear that. Did you know the Doctor is more prone to jealousy than you think? It is most amusing to see his ever-confident smirk fall once you get a bit too close to [Name]. I vividly remember the time when I said I would accompany [Name] to a ball instead, as he was too busy with his research. He never changed his mind as quickly as he did once I promised to dance with them."

Childe - About You:

“I’ve always thought Dottore was eccentric, and after meeting [Name], I can say they are equally as weird as him, solely for choosing him as their husband. Their personality is nothing like his either - they are bubbly, affectionate, and most of all… extremely weak. Traits that Dottore has no interest in. And yet the segments seem to fawn over them… I just don’t understand them. I just hope they know what they’re getting into.”

Furina - About You:

"Whenever I see them, [Name] always make sure to arrange a tea party with their own homemade Sumerian sweets! It is truly a delight. I admit, I am a bit jealous of their skill. It's as if they have the experience of a hundred years! But of course, that's impossible. Regardless, they are very kind, and they also seem to have a particular liking for romantic films... an odd thing for someone affiliated with the Fatui to like."

Nahida - About You:

"A raven and a sparrow - two beings that are surely bound to be apart from each other, but when it comes to the Doctor and [Name], it seems that even the impossible becomes possible. Though my feelings toward them will not change because of what they've done, I can't help but be interested. What lengths will the Outcast go to cure the one he holds dear, and would [Name] still be able to love him if he becomes more of a monster?"

Zandy speed-walking to your room wrapped in his blanket whenever he got nightmares wasn't anything new.

In the beginning, he felt guilty for bothering you in the middle of the night, but ever since you found out the child had bad dreams once in a while, you urged him to come find you no matter what time it was. Thankfully, they had significantly decreased since he met you, but there were still times he woke up scared and sweating, as if flames had nearly licked him. Admittedly, a part of him wished you could sleep in his room every day so it wouldn't happen, but he knew it wouldn't be fair to you.

At first, Zandy would knock on your door and wait for you to open before intruding, but eventually, you managed to convince him to just let himself in and onto your bed. During these instances, you'd wake up to the child cuddling to you, sometimes with Foxttore squished in between. It was healing for both of you. And tonight, Zandy thought as he tip-toed to your room, would be no different. Quietly twisting the doorknob and entering the room, he already felt a bit more at ease, especially at the sight of your silhouette. The boy walked to the bed and began to climb on it when suddenly a hand shot out to grab him, and he was faced with none other than fellow blood-red eyes.

Quickly, Zandy figured out the situation, when he noticed that you were actually on the other side of the bed, this person was none other than Prime Dottore which he didn't realize in the darkness, and that he had accidentally woken him up. It was only natural that Dottore would be woken up at the slightest noise - he had never been a deep sleeper.

But more importantly, the situation had turned awkward once Dottore had removed his grip from the boy, realizing it was just him. Immediately, Zandy tried to shuffle off the bed - he and Prime had been on way better terms lately, no longer being ignored, which was wholly thanks to you - but he was still hesitant to interact without you. But Dottore wasn't going to let him off that easy of course.

"... What are you doing here?" The boy's eyes nervously flitted from your sleeping body to Prime, hoping you'd wake up to get him out of the situation.

"W-Well..." Zandy's voice came out louder than he wanted, "I wanted to... to..." he then drifted off as he tried to think of a reasonable excuse. He could tell Dottore wasn't particularly impressed, moving to get up when suddenly a new voice entered the conversation.

"Zandik, what's wrong?" You yawned as you began to sit up in bed. "Usually, you aren't this noisy when you're sneaking off to go do work instead of sleep-" You stopped your sentence slowly and rubbed your eyes, as you now realized someone else was in the room too. "Zandy? Is that you?"

"Yes..."

"Another nightmare again? Poor thing, come here," you cooed, stretching your arms open. Dottore remained silent but quickly pieced together what happened. Well, it made an awful lot of sense - you somehow always managed to be soothing after experiencing the terrors of the mind. He too remembers the times he rested his chest on your chest after his own nightmares. Logically, when the scholar thinks about it, his child segment's nightmares were probably similar to his too.

However, Zandy didn't seem very certain of the idea anymore, more interested in heading out the door. You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion before you quickly remembered that Dottore was likely causing his hesitation.

"There's no need to be shy. You can stay, we don't mind," you said softly, moving to the edge of the bed and grabbing both his hands. "Right, Zandik?"

"... Go ahead. There's only a few more hours until I get up, anyway."

"See? Now come here." With only a bit of persuasion, the child was in between the two of you. Well, he was mostly attached to you while Dottore was just on the other side, but it was still sweet. You gently patted Zandy's head as you began yawning again, sleepiness still coursing through you. At that, Dottore pulled up the covers, making sure you (and the child) were warm.

"Good night, Zandy, Zandik..."

"Good night, [Name]... fa-" The word quickly softened and dried up on the boy's lips as he realized that he was still not brave enough for that yet. Zandy swiftly shut his eyes and willed his body to sleep as fast as possible.

A little while later, after Dottore was sure you both had dozed off, he sighed at the sight that was mostly covered in darkness, but he could still make out his child self's body wrapped by your larger one... as well as the rather wide and palpable gap in between his and his segment's.

Briefly turning over, the Harbinger glanced at the time. It would be time for him to return to his work soon, this break only a haven you begged to grant him. Dottore looked back at you, reaching out to caress your cheek, letting out another sigh. He moved his body closer, to where his own was only a little bit from touching Zandy's, and then wrapped a protective arm over you, and by extension, the child.

He would be gone soon enough, anyway - this wouldn't hurt for now.

It was moments like this that made what the future held hurt even more.

𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 ♡

Prime Dottore: The original one who has seen and experienced it all. All the segments must answer to him. His ultimate goal besides having humanity surpass the Gods is curing his beloved.

Segment 01 - Alpha: Dottore's grumpy segment from his days in the Akademiya. The Outcast does not need friends or socialization, preferring to spend his time alone, but that feeling quickly dies down once he meets the person who changed the course of his life again. The reason why Prime chose to create this segment first was because he missed the days he once spent as a student with his sweetheart, but he'd never admit that to himself.

Segment 02 - Beta: Dottore's young and eccentric segment from his early days as a Harbinger. He can be easily irritated and impatient when it comes to working with others, but he has gained much personality due to a superb working space as well as meeting many other like-minded people, a stark difference considering he was merely an exiled student not too long ago. However, in Beta's free time, he solemnly works on yet another new gadget for his dearest to play with, adding it to one of the numerous boxes. The reason why Prime chose to create this segment was because his expertise in machinery was too important to let go of.

Segment 04 - Delta: Dottore's serious and stern segment who frightens many agents solely due to his demeanor. Despite his somberness, this segment does not snap or raise his voice at others. His lack of attachment and emotion is a result of his growing loss, and simply a prelude to what's to come as things only continue to spiral. The reason why Prime chose to create this segment was because of the many perfect traits an experimenter should have, despite the ways it was obtained.

Segment 06 - Zeta: Dottore's regretful segment that loathes his failure. He despises his shortcomings for being unable to prevent his dearest from centuries of suffering. Picked straight from the time when the original's loss hit him the hardest, it feels almost cruel to make this segment continuously live with such vivid, horrid memories. However, unlike all those years ago, Zeta now has a sweet voice to fill the void of unbearable silence. The reason why Prime chose to create this segment was to have someone solely dedicated to working on medicines and cures, and perhaps... an uncomfortable reminder of what could be his reality if he can't save his lover.

Segment 10 - Zandy: Dottore's child segment from when he was just a boy. He is as innocent, carefree, and curious about the world just as any child would be, perhaps a bit too curious for others' liking. Although he boasts a cheerful attitude, he struggles to keep it up for certain reasons. However, Zandy continues to smile as he hasn't lost hope... yet - but the inevitable will happen one day. The reason why Prime chose to create this segment was an interest in a child's perspective, but the only way he can understand it is with his darling's help.

Segment 18 - Sigma: Dottore's unusually kind segment that still retains certain unsavory qualities. He seems to be all smiles, and his softer voice tends to throw unprepared agents for a loop, but that calm smile can be turned into one of doom. Pinning down the time period Sigma is from is difficult, considering the existence of a segment like this just seems... wrong, but a good guess would be once he made his biggest step in surpassing the Gods, the pleasure and confidence from such blasphemy coursing through him. The reason why Prime chose to create this segment was the understanding that a gentler demeanor was useful in dealing with certain personalities instead of his other selves.

Segment 21 - Phi: Dottore's female segment and an early prototype of Omega. Her existence is confusing but then again the idea of "segments" already breaks the rules of the world, so it's best not to question it. She is teasing and similarly selfish, though she hasn't quite reached the state the latest segment has, and she has three gleaming red gems instead. Therefore, Phi must be from a time when the original was reaching his limit with what the world has handed a special someone. The reason why Prime chose to create this segment was to push the limits of what he could do once again and satisfy his curiosity.

Segment 24 - Omega: Dottore's selfish segment that has the highest authority after Prime himself, consequently outcasting himself from his other selves. Being the most selfish of them all, it can be assumed that Omega was plucked from a time when the original grew the most fed up with this world. His aura of arrogance and absolute confidence make it nigh impossible for anyone to read him, but finally being able to meet a certain someone has given him a chance to encounter a previously unachievable possibility. The reason why Prime chose to create this segment was simply the desire for another perspective, as well as needing another useful pair of hands.

(x) As the Second Harbinger, one would think Il Dottore would be wholly disinterested in something like White Day. And it was a perfectly reasonable guess, after all, have you seen the Doctor?! But no, they would be wrong, having not seen how Dottore and his segments carefully procured their own little thing for you as a reciprocal gift for your previous presents on Valentine's Day.

Was this odd behavior for the scholars? Most definitely. Even for you this was uncharted territory. What could have prompted Dottore, who largely ignored the existence of holidays, to take the initiative? You believed it to be him finally deciding to be a cutie again. (As the banker once said, if Dottore didn't put more effort in, he may just sweep you off your feet instead - and as joking as the Ninth may have been, it had served to push Dottore forward (as planned).

Prime Dottore does the best thing he can for you - spend quality time with you. Sure, as much as you like all the neat gadgets he makes you to pass the time, it gets to a point it can no longer replace his presence. And so you two have dinner - whether you prefer it to be fancy with a romantic atmosphere, or something more relaxed with you two munching in bed. The day ends with lots of talking and rambling from both of you, a much needed break and reminder of your love. And don't worry, he didn't try to cook this time.

Alpha gifts you a pack of the very best pens Teyvat has to offer. They write flawlessly and it's genuinely breathtaking. After all, he remembers very well those days you spent in the Akademiya, and how you grumbled about only having cheap pens, but had all these essays to write. And since Alpha knows how much you love being fancy - don't worry - he got them in different colors too. Just don't draw on his notes (please do). And don't bother sharing them with him. He will probably end up breaking them eventually and get grumpy at you, as if it's your fault ink splattered all over him.

Beta is very proud of his gift and was secretly itching the whole time to see the look on your face once he finally gave it to you. Of course, it's machine related. As you've probably guessed, the gift in question is a Ruin Guard... customized to resemble... you? See, he had his agents give it a new coat of paint that is similar to you, and he's added a few small articles of your clothing that could go on it! It's majestic! Yeah... it may be a bit impractical, seeing as how huge it is, and you have to walk all the way to Beta's lab to play with it, but do you see his big, sharp grin right now? It's the culmination of his work for his dearly beloved, his two favorite things combined!

Delta isn't really a stellar gift giver, being as serious and unemotional as he is. But he still does believe in returning effort, especially when it came to you. However, that doesn't really change the fact he's unsure of what to give you, so he just sticks to the way he best communicates with you - actions - seeing as when he talks he isn't the most fun to listen to. Just expect to see a lot of your favorite things popping up throughout a very stress-free day.

Zeta presents you with a collection of books he's been storing that he'd think you'd like. Although this segment never seems to be around, and seems to talk even less, it doesn't mean he doesn't know what's going on in your life. Zeta listens to everything with interest and almost an uncanny precise memory, noting everything down. And of course, when he happens to hear agents speak about things you're also interested in, that is also noted. Sure, these things may not always be his sort of thing, but if you want the extraordinary rare first edition of "Shogun Almighty: Reborn as Raiden With Unlimited Power" or "Pretty Please, Kitsune Guuji?", he'll get his hands on it... even if it raises some eyebrows.

Though still a child, Zandy would never dare to miss out on gifting you something! He shares with you one of his plushies - a simple blue teddy bear. It's honestly quite out of place considering his other toys and his most treasured Ruin Guard plushies, but it reminds you of the boy - cute, tiny, huggable, and blue. If you wear earrings, he'll also somehow get his hands on a matching pair, so you're always carrying a piece of him! After all, as much as you'd like to be cool and wear Dottore's blue vial on your ear too, it's not as comfortable as he makes it looks...

Sigma's gift is as sweet as he is, combining two of his interests - plants and sweets - and what does that get you? Chocolate roses of course! The segment gifts you the bouquet all romantically, before one rose is suddenly plucked and promptly devoured, of course while he watches you laugh and munch one right after. It becomes a tradition of sorts afterward, and you learned to make them yourself to surprise him too! It's such a shame he can't grow chocolate flowers in his greenhouse...

Phi leaves you with a nice perfume/cologne, nothing too overpowering, with a lovely designed bottle with the patterns of her clothes. Somehow it never runs out (she refills it when you're not around). The trick is that the smell is quite similar to hers, so whenever you wear it, the other segments get slightly annoyed as they're practically smelling her on you - completely unfair of course. Before they can try to cover you with theirs instead, Phi always whisks you away.

Omega, for once, has a bit of trouble deciding what your gift is, surprisingly. He's pondered over it for a while, catching himself idly thinking about it. He believes it must be the perfect gift, the best gift - the gift you like the best. Being the observant person you are, you notice his thinking and inquire, and so he just bluntly asks you what you would like the best. You can't help but let out a laugh, claiming that although you think his thoughtfulness is cute, there was really no need to think that hard into it - you'd appreciate and love anything because he was the best lover you could ask for! And then it hits Omega - that's right, he is the best - already superior to his other selves. And so, that night, you had your gift all to yourself, every inch of him.

"Omega, huh... he is the only segment where I always spend time with completely alone. See, he's not prone to sharing, just like Prime. I don't mind much, honestly, it's nice to get away from all of the noise and be with him. He always coaxes me to be more selfish too... is it a good or bad thing he's influencing me?"

About Alpha:

"Yes, the grumpy cutie I met all those years ago, the start of it all. He says that my presence is a hindrance and it only disrupts his work, but we both know that's false. Often, I like to sit by him as he writes his notes, pointing out all the errors caused by the atrocity of his handwriting... Sometimes, I feel bad using him as a reminder of the past."

About Beta:

"It always baffles me that Beta was once how Dottore acted. I mean, have you seen the difference between 'Mega and Beta? Anyway... he's always such a fun segment to hang around! Even when his assistants cower behind me in fear! Oh, and whenever he goes 'he-he-ho-ho', it always makes me giggle. Please don't tell him I did that impression of him though."

About Delta:

"Oh, Delta's... pretty mean. A really big meanie, if I do say so myself. He never laughs, never smiles, never entertains my shenanigans, always sees right through me... so rude. Huh? Don't worry about me, I'm allowed to talk about him like this. I still love him, after all."

About Zeta:

"Zeta's always so elusive! It was such a pain to track him down at first, he was always avoiding me. I thought he hated me... but once I got a hold of him, he is always so attentive to me! However, it greatly saddens me that he thinks he "failed" me... and yet he doesn't know how much it hurts me more that I've caused him to be like this."

About Zandy:

"Have you met my son? He's the sweetest little thing, isn't he? I remember how shy he was in the beginning, but he quickly grew to be such a dear. Always so excited and eager for attention. I can't help but wonder if Dottore's life could have been different if more people were kinder to him as a child."

About Pierro:

"I will always be indebted to him and Her Highness for taking me in. He is pretty scary to be around, but I feel sort of bad for him. I can't imagine how much responsibility he has... I once promised him I'd work for the Fatui once I'm better, but he didn't react much. Hmph, I'll show him how much I can boost Dottore's efficiency!"

About Capitano:

"The only thing I really know about him is that he's incredibly strong and well respected, at least from other people. The single time I met him, I also learned he was quite well liked by animals too, but it's hard to get any more information when he's so quiet..."

About Columbina:

"Bina is the best friend I've always wanted. I'm glad she's always there for me whenever things go bad. Although I can never predict what she's going to do or say, which is pretty strange, considering who I'm with, that makes her company all the more fun. Still, the amount of embarrassing situations she's tricked me into with Dottore... makes my head hurt."

About Arlecchino:

"I wish we could be closer, but I don't think it'll ever happen. I can't really blame her though, the relationship between her and Dottore is... not the greatest, for reasons I understand. I wonder what she thinks of me, the person who still stands by his side despite his sins?"

About Pulcinella:

"Oh... the little grandpa? I've always wondered how he's the fifth rank, but there's probably more to it than I know. Regardless, I didn't expect him to be so kind to me. I only see him once in a while, but every time he seems to know how I'm doing. And then, he proceeds to give me the best advice, exactly what I needed to hear at that moment, even when it has to do with Dottore. It's kind of scary..."

About Scaramouche:

"Ah yes... the Balladeer. He always wants to start up something with me whenever we cross paths, which is why my patience runs very thin around him. I hope the next time he goes into the Abyss, he gets stuck there."

"Her research sounds so cool! I've seen some of the things she can create, and it's completely fascinating. I too once had a love for machines back when I was a student. It's just a shame she never comes out of her lab... there are never any chances for me to talk with her. Well, I can always talk with Alpha and Beta about their research at least."

"I've barely ever seen or spoken to her, but she has my respect. I heard what happened to her husband. If I ever lost Dottore, I'm not sure if I'd be able to go on... or at least be as half as strong as she is."

About Pantalone:

"Oh, Lone's one of my good friends! He always has such unique ideas for me to get back at Dottore, and listening to him talk about his theories quite reminds me of listening to Dottore. He's helped me a lot, dealing with this man. Still... as he does with everyone, I'm kept at arm's length. It doesn't bother me, but I wish I could help him in some way. But I know that'll never be possible."

About Childe:

"Despite being a Harbinger, he's a lot nicer than you'd think. Well, especially compared to the others in the Fatui. He's great at conversation, his family is the sweetest... and he always promises to spar with me once I'm no longer sick. Truly great company. Too bad Dottore's attitude toward him is... less than favorable."

About Furina:

"At first I hated her just like all the other Gods, but after learning the truth, I can't help but greatly respect her. To take on such a burden without having a single shoulder to lean on and succeed in the end... I think I've been through a lot of pain, but at least I've had Dottore and the others to ease it even just a bit. But she had no one, and I admire her will."

Saw a fic from an author who make a harbingers x reader testing lip stick thingy and uhh suddenly have a thought of fragile!reader when one time they're spending time with a segment, had an ABSOLUTELY GENIOUS IDEA,(Reader's words) which is to wear a lipstick and bombard the segment with kisses whenever the segment do something for them. Safe to say that segment was left a little speechless(I imagine it was Alpha who is left speechless and red face bombarded with lipstick stain LMAO) And after that, reader start to do it to every other segments, and that caused a teeny tiny competition between the segments of who gets the most kisses. But at the end of the day, it's of course gonna be prime who got the most kisses (ugh, that man..😣 i love how you write him)

(x) Although you didn't wear lipstick that much, when Columbina gifted you a pretty shade out of nowhere, you just had to try it out (obviously you had not seen the devious smile on her face). It was too lovely not to show off to the others too! You'd surely distract them from their work when your lips looked this appealing!

Alpha was the first on your list - he was always the sweetest to tease. Needless to say, the first kiss sealed the deal instantly. He acted grumpy at first and didn't meet your eye until he felt residue on his cheek, and upon rubbing the color off of him and realizing what it was, it was already too late. Your arms were in a death lock around him and he was left woozy after you were finished with him. Poor guy. He is also trying to figure out whether to continue working like this with the lovely reminder of your kisses or risk being seen like this.

Beta is more than happy to receive your kisses. He didn't even notice at first because as soon as you came to visit him, he immediately let go and started telling you his latest grief. But when he does notice, he gets up real close and personal and even smudges it a bit - he's just very interested. You also probably stained his white coat a bit from the kissing session. That's okay though! But please also leave a little kiss on one of his robots. It will motivate him whenever he's working.

Omega already knows what's about to happen when you waltz in, lips sheening with an unusual color. This hasn't been the first time you've come in showing off something new, after all. He's very teasing, letting you kiss against his hand before you get tired enough to pull him by his harness for a real kiss. When he finds out you've already shown the others though, he will get a bit peeved though. Next time, come to him first, okay?

Zandy didn't want to be left out of the party either, so you put a kissy stain on one of his drawings that he hung up in his room (along with all his other works of art).

Prime is pleasantly surprised and amused by the gloss on your lips. Did you miss him that much to doll yourself up like this? He'll let you give him kisses - just out of sight of what others can see. Which means, sometimes Dottore takes off his shirt and sees the residue from the lipstick you left and he smiles. Of course, no one will dare to comment if a kissy stain peaks out from the collar of his shirt. You will have to ask Bina for some more products at this point...

(Said lipstick was actually a Fontainian product that was quickly recalled after it was discovered the effects caused hypnosis when it came into contact with another's skin. However, it was ineffective on the segments and Dottore as they are already under your spell. Columbina was just curious about if it'd work. She is a lil instigator.)

Dottore himself may be a downright terrible cook, but what about his segments? I like to imagine that (almost) all of them are just as bad, if not worse. If you thought Prime shouldn’t be allowed in a kitchen, look at Beta!! Bro’s more likely to win the lottery than make something edible 😭

Imagine that Zandy is the exception to this culinary curse - he’s Reader’s assistant chef and baker, and ALWAYS knows what he’s doing, even without the recipe! It baffles and seriously irritates the other segments.

Naturally, as Dottore's other selves, the segments share his traits - the desire for knowledge, an analytical mind, blasphemous thoughts - but also fatal hands that cause disasters in the kitchen. Of course, you've banned them from the premises 99% of the time, but on occasion, you still like letting them in, in an attempt to teach them, which usually goes south.

Beta is even worse than Prime due to his general demeanor. See, at least Dottore, in his older age, has far more patience regarding different things than his younger self, and he also yields to you more as he acknowledges your expertise, dutifully following your instructions and steps (and still making absolute slop). But the segment, although possessing patience for his experiments, tends to lack that trait when it comes to other things. Therefore, when he's placed into situations where he has little interest or experience, Beta's patience runs thin. He's also not very gentle, so there will be lots of clanking, grumbling, and an explosion. You will feel nervous with him in the kitchen because of how hard he's glaring at the poor ingredients. Although he likes keeping his hands active, this time he'd much rather sit back and let you handle this...

Having Omega in the kitchen is the funniest simply due to the nature of the segment. The arrogant and mighty segment, wisdom and strength rivaling the Archons, the one who can make the impossible possible... so many grand achievements under his belt... except when it comes to making a meal. Although he loves to spend time with you (especially snatching it away from the others), Omega always expertly comes up with an excuse when you invite him to help you cook. Despite the urge to prove you wrong, he very much knows of his lack of talent for cooking and how you will make fun of him at any chance, and his ego cannot take that. Therefore, he usually just hoists you on the counter and kisses you to get you to stop talking.

You always knew precious Zandy was special, and his baffling lack of explosions in the kitchen was definitely a part of it. Initially, you were quite scared to let him in, considering that grown men are doing so terribly, you can't imagine what the poor kid would go through! But what do you know, the little boy seems to lack the curse his older selves possess! You don't really understand why either, but you're just happy one blue-haired silly is able to help you make yummy treats. Even though some of the other segments are grumpy about it, you help Zandy get a bit closer to them by having him offer the sweets. You think it's working... slowly, at least. It's especially endearing when Prime, Zandy, and you are together. It's awkward at first, but Prime supposes even he has something to learn from his child self. That is why he made the segments after all... but for things other than baking.

when Pantalone found out the segments were jealous he grinned so hard that day, and may have told bina and every other harbinger just to annoy the doctor even more, the gossip is juicy tonight for the agents. you made sure to cuddle every dottore you have available a little more than usual after that.

the fact that Zandik is hearing all these thoughts from different segments is so funny to me, like he's trying to concentrate not think about his lover right now(very hard), and when he finally succeeded theres another one being more jealous than the last, please leave [name] and the child alone and get to work. he's way more jealous than every segments jealousy combined

It was always rather amusing to see Dottore's segments jealous, although you probably haven't seen real jealousy. Even though they do get jealous of each other, most of the time they don't bother letting it brew - they just simply go up and try to steal you, which usually ends up in a semi-fight that you quickly deescalate with a compromise. However, it's different when the segment is none other than Zandy... after all, it was well known that the child had a certain unknown power that none of them possessed. It was unfair, really. What did a mere child have that they didn't?! Yes, they're secretly happy you're that affectionate to the boy who was ostracized and constantly hurt, but that doesn't trump their grumpiness! Of course, you don't really realize at first, considering the segments seem to be busy most of the time anyway.

Pantalone, however, having to deal with these scholars more than he liked, over time became keenly aware of when his business partners were in a bad mood. Well, it was pretty obvious with the younger ones, but the older ones required some more delving into (which he'd become accustomed to due to his not-so-desirable deals). It had only taken the Ninth a bit of prodding to discover the segments' cause of discontentment, and their romantic woes were perhaps one of his favorite sources of amusement. Although what comes out of his mouth later is certainly... not the best for the fearsome Il Dottore, it's not all bad, just as Pantalone planned. The rumors reached their way to you, of course! And with that, despite the segments denying all accusations, you make sure to give them all numerous kisses.

Prime is exasperated, but not unsurprised at his clones' thoughts. At least for once, they weren't fighting, but rather complaining in uncommon unison about your lack of attention. Still, it doesn't make it much better... their minds should not be so weak as to fall victim to a mere lack of touch and sweet words. It was quite ridiculous...

HOW DO YOU THINK DOTTORE AND HIS CLONES WOULD REACT TO TEASING??? Especially something they did in the Akademiya or something that portrays him as soft? Maybe tease the reader back or attempt to change the subject saying that it “never happened.”

Alpha is just the easiest target much to his dismay. Being quite young and still not as composed as his older selves, his reactions are bound to be the most amusing - and at least you'll actually get one - the older segments would never get that worked up over a few playful words. He gets a bit annoyed with himself that he can't help but get riled up by your words, which is why he always initially tries to brush it off, but your cackling always makes the conversation go on for longer than necessary. Poor thing can only continue to protest because he can't out-tease you.

Zandy is only subject to lighthearted teasing. Poking fun at him will result in some giggles and he'll try to counter back in the same carefree tone.

Beta is sort of a mixed bag. You could have him directing the teasing right back to you, have him staring blankly to decipher your intentions, or flustered and grumpy at his agents for the rest of the day... it's always interesting with him!

Trying to tease Omega will only end in a sweet defeat for you - it's as if he already knows what's about to fly out of your mouth every time from how prepared he is to respond. And yet, he never tries to stop or deter you, he simply hears you out with a smile before turning the tables on you. If you truly want to tease him, you'll get to get more physical - that red eye gem of his seems to be quite sensitive...

Prime Dottore will, most of the time, not take your teasing seriously. His responses would pretty much be cut and dry, killing the fun (meanie!!) or if he's in the mood, he'll just skillfully make it so you're in hot water instead with a smirk at your stammering.

"Don't tell me you carry around candy in your pockets!" (Said once you were a bit down, words were failing him, and he thought a sweet could help instead.)

Imagine Fragile!Reader with the most unhinged mouth when they decide they had enough.

Like in the Akademiya days, whenever our precious Zandik was getting bullied and [Name] just had enough, [Name] decides to point out every. single. flaw. On someone’s form by social standards to put them to shame just to silence them and Zandik is just left speechless when this first happens.

“ Your front right tooth is tilted by 8 degrees, your left foot is pointing slightly more inwards, your hair has tangles by the right inner portion by about the 6 inches point, your buttons are not properly ordered, your wearing unmatched socks no one should be able to see, and the laces on your shoes are too loose so fix them up you lazy excuse of an scholar… also, you should talk to your lover, I heard she was busy with another person.. I understand why, I wouldn’t want to be with you either.”

and they just turn to Zandik and be like ‘let’s get going, shall we?’ And than when the two leave [Name] is smiling as if they didn’t just roast the living daylights out of someone. Like [Name] has one hell of a mouth. And Zandik’s like : Hello? Where the hell did you get that from??

This continues after Fragile!Reader wakes up from coma, and the Fatui Harbingers or Subordinates have learned joy to try and argue with you. This person is someone to truly not argue with, no matter how frail they may be physically. They may have no strength in their bones, but they have strength in their words.

Than whenever [Name] is done arguing they just go back to spoiling prime or whoever segment they were talking to with cuddles, sweets, or indulging in conversation.

(Bet that [Name] would absolutely KILL someone with their words if anyone makes fun of Zandy.)

Unlike your dear lover, who had a general lack of patience and grumpiness toward his fellow scholars, you were the chiller one who was certainly better at dealing with people than he was (although that wasn't really anything special when the person in question was Zandik.) This was a quality he thought was foolish at the beginning, but now... he still thinks such niceties are foolish... except when you're directing them to him of course! Still, he always wondered what could make someone as sweet and composed finally tick.

Turns out it was him. Needless to say, he'd always noticed your discontentment with the unsavory rumors floating around the school but he'd never that it'd upset you to that degree. Should his heart flutter at someone caring for him to that extent, or be annoyed at you wasting your energy on such people? To be honest, he thinks it's a bit amusing how you were always telling him to ignore them, especially considering they were too cowardly to actually say things to his face, but then you just went and did that - but then immediately went back to normal. Can he utilize that tongue of yours for some other endeavors? It would be very useful!

A section about this trait of yours is swiftly added to the Fatui Handbook: "Although [Name] is quite agreeable and lenient, incurring their wrath will subject you to a prompt tongue lashing, and therefore, Lord Dottore's judgment. To cool off, they will go and cuddle with one of the Dottores who will be paying you a visit soon."

(Luckily most of the agents have never seen Zandy, but any segment who dares to tease him a bit too much will have you hovering behind them menacingly.)

Do you perhaps have a list of all your versions of the segments, with their names and which segment corresponds to what moment in Dottore’s life?

Some food for thought: based on that writing piece you did about Zandy’s creation—specifically the part where he had to grow used to not being “Zandik” anymore and instead a numbered segment—it made me wonder how the other segments feel about it. They were “Zandik” once, and then suddenly they’re not—they’re just clones of the real one.

And even for Prime, I imagine it’s been centuries since someone addressed him by his real name ever since he gained the title of Il Dottore. That name probably goes unheard until Fragile!Reader wakes up again. I wonder how that feels for him? Does he respond to hearing that name after using a different title for so long? Does it take getting use to? Does his heart soften when the Reader uses it?

And then the segements, they finally hear "their" name again, spoken in the voice of their lover. But “Zandik” isn’t used for the segments—it’s reserved for Prime. Of course, the Reader loves all the segments dearly, giving each of them unique names, but the segments are not their Zandik.

I wonder how the segments feel about that. Who takes it in complete stride, and who has more complicated feelings about it?

Indeed, the name "Zandik" had become nearly foreign to him. Those who knew that name had all died, and those few who still remained would never call him that, as the relationship was not personal enough to warrant that name. The only reason why that heretical name still crosses Dottore's mind is due to his collection of your belongings and items you've gifted him, all bearing the name you uttered like the most lovely thing in the world. He must still remember that name, as he must replay your sweet voice when he can in his head before he forgets how you sound, but centuries have left it but a muffled noise in his mind.

So when "Zandik" finally spills out of your lips again, soft and breathless, the fog in his head clears up, mind processing how it sounds on your tongue once again. He pauses for a moment, taking it in and only replying briefly while you're a bit confused at his staring. For a while, he will act like nothing is wrong but he clearly idles for a couple of seconds at the call of his real name. However, that's not him disliking your use of it - he just wishes you didn't have such an impact on him. To think after this long, he would flinch at a mere name, that his heart would soften at the fact that you are truly with him again. Even after centuries of becoming so many different, unspeakable things, becoming Il Dottore, he is still simply Zandik to you - for better or worse, only time will tell, and it's also a reminder of the oath he made to you, not as Dottore, but as Zandik. Over time his sudden reaction dissipates, ever the adaptive man of course, but you'll always remember it.

Of course, the segments not being your "Zandik" was something they all expected, and came to terms with long before you even woke up. After all, how could they not? If they dared to overstep too much, the consequence could be not so pleasant. But still, even with all that preparation, reality hurts more than what the imagination brings.

The most obvious one here is Omega. He doesn't necessarily want to be Zandik, but more so he wants to be the one who is treated like him, who has all the attention lavished on him only. Of course, despite his extreme efforts, and his calculated methods to make you fall for him, he is but another segment.

Alpha is also one who feels jealousy, and being young and unaccustomed to the feeling, he loathes it. He, as much as he didn't like to admit it, had become attached to you and greatly disliked seeing you happy with another. A part of him tries to justify it too, after all, he was the first one who technically met you. He deserves you.

Zandy doesn't mind not being Zandik, in fact, he much prefers being loved as your Zandy rather than being the Zandik who was scorned. Putting those memories as Zandik far away into his mind is something he'll gladly do so long as the new ones as Zandy keep flowing in.

Zeta is discontent with it too, but he believes that it's best to leave things as it is, because you are the happiest this way, and it's not like he'd stand a chance against Prime anyway - which is a sentiment shared among nearly all the segments, which is why they always keep their grievances to themselves.

Im not sure if this has been done yet but imagine childe’s little brother tuecer meeting reader. Would zandy be thrilled to find a new friend or would he get jealous of the idea of readers attention going to someone else. Aw i can just imagine tiny zandy puffing his cheeks and pulling readers hand to take them back to his room.

Zandy would be elated to meet Teucer. Finally, someone his age? Who doesn't exclude him like the other children from the village did? And who ALSO likes Ruin Guards? Oh, for once, he couldn't be more lucky! He would be initially shy at first, sitting near the boy while you and the Eleventh spoke. Teucer would be the one to reach out to him, ever the lively and friendly child he is, and it all started from there. You would be so happy he finally has a friend - as much time you spend with him, you do think he needs someone his age. Despite having very mixed thoughts on Dottore, Childe can see Zandy is no harm at all (fondness for children kicking in) so he's happy Teucer has a friend while he's away for so long.

I don't think he'd get jealous. Zandy's a kid who never had any attention on him for so long and he's learned to deal with it. And it's not like you'd ignore him for Teucer, you'd just give them both attention! Besides, he also deals with numerous other segments hogging you and yet he gets your attention literally every day, so it doesn't matter to him. Really, he's just happy to have you with him.

I feel like we don't talk more about how dottore feels about his s/o being zandy's parental figure, his younger self, no less. Like, he would feel a certain way when reader holds zandy like a parent would and cooing at him. When reader picks up zandy (when they've managed to gain that strength) from under the armpits and carry him like a child.

YES! In general, Dottore didn't expect you to become so attached to all of his segments. He anticipated you getting to know them and all, due to loneliness and other things, but you love them all very much. Which is a miscalculation on his part, he probably should have expected it with your nature. Though, he's not sure whether to be flattered or annoyed that your love for him runs that deep. If he had it his way, he'd keep all your attention on him... but you seem all too willing to divide your attention, despite there being only one of you and a dozen or so of them... He sort of applauds your management.

However, regarding Zandy his feelings seem unclear. It's clear that he created the segments to preserve his perspectives and help him further his knowledge, but there was no real relationship outside of that. However, for you, it's the opposite. Each relationship you have with the segments is unique, especially your one with Dottore's child self. At first, the Harbinger didn't pay much attention to it. But it became increasingly obvious how much you loved Zandy.

From the moment you met the kid, you chose to open yourself up to him fully without any reserve. You chose to indulge Zandy's every childish whim and listened to him, no matter how dumb it seemed. You chose to love him, something his birth parents didn't do even though they were supposed to. (And you choose to carry him in your arms despite lacking the strength... apparently, you promised him the first thing you'd do once you recover was to give Zandy a proper piggyback ride.) Is his child self truly that lovable? The same one deemed a monster, a heretic? If he looks at your actions, then the apparent answer is a resounding yes.

Still, despite these feelings, he doesn't say a word to you about them. He merely looks on contemplatively, still barely uttering any words to his child self. Maybe if you keep trying, you can get the two, so vastly different on the outside, yet perhaps similar on the inside, to become closer...?

Lately I've been thinking about how each of Dottore's segments would cuddle you...

Alpha, the Akademiya segment would be just as you remembered him. Grumpy and seemingly irritated at your advances, shooing you away as you hug him from behind. Despite all of his complaints, get him in the right mood and position and he'll be mad at you if you try to go. Also one of the only segments that would let you hold him, so enjoy that.

Webttore would be very fun and nice to cuddle, as long as you aren't trying to fall asleep. His arms around you are very tight all the time, he doesn't let up, but he also likes to change position a lot out of nowhere. Not to mention, he does like to talk a lot (which you love) so you'll be randomly flipped over or to the side in the middle of a conversation if he feels like it. Also, the biting of course. Cuddling is supposed to be relaxing but being in such close proximity to you makes him want to make it the opposite.

Boattore (yes :3) is somehow more docile than the other segments which already is a contradiction, putting "docile" and "Dottore" in the same sentence, but his gentle and softer voice when speaking to you says it all. So he is the other biggest chance you'll have at being the big spoon while cuddling, if that's something you're interested in (although it is still quite minuscule.) His favorite way to cuddle you is to have your back pressed against his chest and his head on top of yours. Very soft, recommend.

Omega seems to have adjusted the way he holds you based on your current mood. Ever the analyzing segment, the countless times he's held you was not just for pleasure, but for research. Perhaps it is in his nature to provide an experience none others could compete with. Regardless, his cuddles always seem to be exactly what you need. It's kind of scary, to be honest, and no matter how much you try to pry into how he works, you never find out. He finds your concern rather amusing.

Zandy would find it most preferable to cuddle into your chest with your arms wrapped around him snuggly. For some reason, the sound of your heartbeat lulls him to sleep more than any bedtime story. He likes it very much when you hold him but finds it embarrassing to bother you every time he has a nightmare.

Can only think of reader and cuteness aggression with dottore... saying stuff like they just want to eat his cheeks while squishing the LIFE out of his cheeks. Doing this to different segments everyday, and saying they're so 'cute'...

What can you say? Dottore is just so cute. Yes, you really did just put that name and that word in the same sentence. Your husband(s?) are the cutest, so cute you can't handle it. From the way they glide their pointy teeth over their lips unconsciously when they're extra focused, to the way the older ones have to tuck back the long lock of hanging blue hair that hinders their vision, how the younger segments' laughs are so loudly unhinged, it fills you with glee. It's just too much - if you bottle it up, you fear you may explode. (Are you okay?)

Dottore and the segments still have yet to understand how you've come to that conclusion when you look at them. Yes, he knows you love him, but does that really necessitate such... strangeness? Even when he's covered head to toe, splattered with blood, you're still looking at him dreamily? Yet no matter how much he researches your brain he can't find the answer. No matter how much he tries to refute your sentiments, you always awe at him and proceed to attempt to squish his cheeks (to which he bats you away quickly). The biting, squeezing, and pinching of his and the segments' bodies while they're working has become the norm as well.

And Zandy loves it yet gets embarrassed by it after a while. Loves it because you're giving him attention but also you're hurting the poor kid's cheeks! And you're doing it in front of the others and they're silently making fun of him - please stop! His cheeks are red from embarrassment and your squishing!

Thinking about celebrating Zandy’s birthday…

As a child, Zandik’s birthday surely wasn’t celebrated, in fact he was probably treated worse on that day as it was the day the heretic came into this world. A cursed day. He had to watch all the other kids be filled with joy and glee with all the attention and gifts they received, not to mention how he was never invited to their birthday parties… 

And now, Zandy, his child self, also faces a similar situation. The boy reads books and stories about the wonders of birthdays and he too wishes to experience the same, as any child would, but he knows better than to bring up the topic with the segments or Prime. Still, every time his birthday rolls around, he hopes that it’ll at least be acknowledged. He’s wrong of course, but he’s grown used to disappointment. Until you come along.

Obviously, you’re deeply saddened when you hear the little child has never even received a “Happy Birthday,” much less celebrated it. So you make it your duty to see to it that Zandy has a multitude of good birthdays. You don’t let him know of your plans of course, you can’t wait to see the surprise on his face.

Perhaps appearing in the boy’s room at 12 AM and rousing him from his sleep wasn’t the best idea, but he sure seemed to like it! Blurry eyes adjusting to the brightness of the room, and then confused at why you’re in his room at this hour, and then his eyes drifting down to the cake in your hand, with a “Happy Birthday, Zandy!” written in the middle. The kid grabs onto you so hard you almost drop the cake. Despite waking up a mere few minutes ago, he seems to have all the energy in the world. He has a lot of fun blowing out the numerous candles you stuck in there (you had to help him because he couldn’t manage by himself.)

Needless to say, that was certainly one of Zandy’s favorite days ever. And he looks forward to your promise of taking him out of the lab on a future birthday.
