Arthur's not a fussy person, he's happy to do anything as long as it's done from the heart. He's the kind of boy who keeps all his little sisters' drawings with him, even if they're just squiggles.

His favourite flower is the peony.

He prefers simple things, so with friends and family, but if there's any cake left over, he's the type to go knocking on neighbours' doors to hand out what's left.

The plain cake, simply because that way, everyone is free to put what they want on it, honey, jam, chestnut cream, chocolate. Arthur just wants everyone to be happy. Especially on his birthday.

It depends on the person, he's good at choosing gifts.

When Arthur's powers were awakened, Zephyr set off to join him on a journey that took almost two years. Arthur was suffering from a high fever caused by the instability of his powers when he and his familiar found each other. The villagers had captured Zephyr thinking it was just a wild horse. Yes. In the sense that Scarlett isn’t truly looking for more friends— she’s content with Zephyr and Lexa— which means it’ll be difficult to get her to that point… Though it’ll also be difficult to romance Scarlett in the sense of actually getting her to see past everything that’s happened to what’s occurring now.

You won’t be her best friend, as you have Blake and she has Lexa/Zephyr (mainly Lexa), you’ll get close though, but Scarlett will definitely soften for a Friend!MC, just not nearly to the point that she does for Romanced!MC (which is understandable given her personality and general lack of interest in other people). 😂

Howdy! I've been following for a while and I thought I should show my appreciation.

I found your blog at a time when I was really insecure about the possibility that certain parts of my identity were "too unconventional", and what I read was super affirming for me.

Seeing someone else take something that comes with a lot of preconcieved notions and confidently saying "No, this means whatever I want it to mean" really helped me take my own sexuality (and very much not-normal methods of expressing affection) in stride.

This may have been answered before, but I'm gonna ask anyway.

Will Mc Have a chance to reconcile with Arthur if they pushed him down the well? I'd like to think they've been mostly indifferent/a little antagonistic towards Arthur mainly out of fear, like they've been told how dangerous it is if people discover and that they need to be prepared and able to hide etc. and then this kid, brought by their beloved uncle, is now in their safe space and they don't know if he's safe and now they don't really have a safe space anywhere. Like, they really regret pushing Arthur, they never wanted him hurt, just not at their home. Would Arthur be willing to give them one more chance or is all of his goodwill gone?

Hiii ! Yes, reconciliation is possible. Arthur is not above giving a second chance. Arthur's a good egg. Zephyr will be harder to forgive.

So who are Zephyr and Lexa? I’ve heard you mention them a couple times and I’m curious.

Zephyr and Lexa are two of the only people that Scarlett would consider friends— best friends even. She’s known them for quite some time— although their relationship did start with Scarlett almost killing Zephyr, and Zephyr simply getting attached and pulling his twin along.

They’re both dragon shifters that are pretty much Scarlett’s bodyguards, not that she truly needs one, while she’s at Aurelian— though they’ll also be doing their own thing too.

NOW PRESENTING TO YOU! : "who the ROs might have issues with and why, excluding the MC" :

1. Dante:

Vie Wobblefang. She’s too intense for him. Her dangerous grin and overbearing personality throw him completely off balance. Dante’s all about positivity, jokes and humor, so her menacing aura makes him uncomfortable.

2. Juno:

Kaisen (blank). He can’t stand his teasing and smug demeanor. Juno appreciates sincerity, and Kaisen’s habit of dropping cryptic, playful comments makes them roll his eyes every time.

3. Fai:

Carmona Greyvine. He avoids conflict, but her manipulative tendencies leave a sour taste in his mouth. Even Fai, with his gentle nature, can sense something off about her.

4. Miokai/Miioni:

King Titus of The Vassal Novs (their father). Miokai/Miioni's disdain for their father runs deep. They see him as a manipulative tyrant who views them as a pawn for his political schemes rather than his child. His constant demands for loyalty and perfection alienate M, fueling their hatred. This isn't just familial bitterness; it’s a deep resentment for being denied an identity outside of the king's shadow.

5. Kaisen:

Addo Everheart. Kaisen finds Addo insufferable, not because of the Governor’s achievements but due to his arrogance and tendency to wield his influence carelessly. Kaisen sees Addo as a hypocrite, someone who preaches stability and order yet turns a blind eye to the suffering of those beneath him. Kaisen’s dislike stems from his own struggles with the fractured state of the Vassal Novs.

6. Vie:

Zephyr Everheart. Vie absolutely despises Zephyr, not for who he is personally, but for what he represents. As the new rising symbol of the Kabot Kingdom’s strength and authority, Zephyr is, to her, the living image of the oppressors who have crushed and exploited the Vaygas District. His disciplined, soldierly demeanor is everything she associates with the kingdoms’ stranglehold on freedom. In her eyes, he’s just another cog in the machine of oppression—a polished sword for rulers who see people like her as expendable.

7. Saeko:

Verna Blackwater (Tournament Host). Saeko has no patience for Verna’s overly polished facade and focus on profit over integrity. To Saeko, Verna represents everything wrong with the tournament system—using combatants as pawns to entertain the masses while maintaining a smiling mask. Saeko values honor in combat, and Verna’s approach cheapens the whole experience.

8. Zephyr:

Aspen Koil (Akiyo’s Uncle). Zephyr harbors a deep dislike for Aspen because he represents the kind of carefree, oblivious lifestyle that ignores the bigger picture. To Zephyr, Aspen embodies the lax side of society that fails to recognize how their inaction allows others to exploit and devour what remains of true order. Aspen’s lack of urgency feels like a betrayal to those who carry the weight of responsibility, leaving Zephyr quietly seething at what he sees as willful ignorance.

9. Akiyo:

Octavia Edwards (Sculptor of every Kabot Tournament winner). Akiyo quietly resents Octavia for her elitist attitude. Octavia’s dismissive remarks about Akiyo’s craft being “simpler” or “less refined” cut deep, and while Akiyo doesn’t openly confront her, they can’t stand her arrogance. It’s not just about art—it’s about how Octavia diminishes anything that doesn’t fit her worldview.
