But up in heaven, if you believe ZUMBI was pleased That I rolled up my sleeves And his energy was wit me So I had no choice My eyes gor REAL moist Playing all my favorite joints Just to hear his voice We a long way from Morehouse And that seemed like yesterday BUT, time flies, when you fly From the south to the bay And people die So you cry, once they pass away Yet life goes on For how long ? I can't say We all got a date Call it destiny or fate So we try to leave our mark Through Compassion or Art Community service or politics You just gotta pick For, if you don't Then time will lead you behind Real quick....
