A/N: Saw this meme going around so of course I'd write it for my new favorite trio.

RUMI

"From what I know it means... well... it means... I love you. And I do you know! Where exactly did you see that though?" Her shy demeanor turned curious, her lip caught between her teeth.

You tapped on your phone, the lock screen of the two of you with a bunch of hearts illuminating the table. "I posted that picture of me getting my nails done. Later I checked the comments and I saw a lot of those. I could have looked it up I figured I could ask you first. I thought it might be some Huntr/x thing."

Rumi blinked slowly, her patterns lighting up like a rainbow as she started laughing but not at you, never at you. She closed the distance between your bodies, nuzzling her face against your neck and letting out a loud rumbling sound.

"You are so cute! I'm gonna start leaving those comments under everything you post, so our fans know that I love you the most." Hundreds of kisses, and a subtle dragging of teeth, were already more than enough to convince you of that, but it couldn't hurt to let the fans know how much she loves you.

MIRA

Her arms tightened around you as you asked that entirely innocent question. She glanced at the phone in your hands, then back to you. "Means I love you, of course. Who told you that?" You chuckled as Mira frowned, "Seriously babe, who told you that?"

"It's all over the comment section of the photo shoot. Well those and some... things I'd rather not repeat. But mostly that one." You turned and moved to sit on Mira's lap, her arms holding you possessively. "ILY, Mira."

The eyeroll was so intense her eyes almost got stuck. It would be a shame because they're beautiful. "That doesn't sound right when you say it out loud. Just say you love me."

"I love you, Mira." You kissed her right as she was about to say it back to you. "I love you, Mira. I love you so much, my pretty girl." Mira groaned against your mouth, her hands running up and down your back, your thighs, trying to convey the words that you silenced with her lips. You knew you loved each other, but every once in a while it was nice to affirm it.

ZOEY

Zoey tapped her chin and let out a long thoughtful hum, her whole body shimmying in your lap. "Well... it means something I tell you every day. Something I told you this morning. What was that again?"

"I love you?" The moment the words left your mouth the meaning of the letters hit you. It was that simple, now you felt a little silly. Not that you had time to dwell on it as your cute girlfriend turned sideways and kissed your cheek with a loud mwah sound.

"And I love you too!" She leaned her head against your collarbone, her hands quickly grabbing her phone and typing something up. A few seconds later you heard a message sound go off. On the screen was a message from Zoey. "ILY." And a whole lot of heart emojis. You chuckled, one hand winding up around her and the other typing out the same message.

Squealing she hugged you tight and attacked you with kisses, "You're so silly." And you loved her for it. Actually it added a lot to her charm, in your personal opinion.

Polytrix HCs

(I'm gonna try to not repeat some of the ones I have that are really common ones, like Zoey has AuDHD. Girl we know this, we knew this from the gecko, I don't need to say it again. You feel me?)

Zoey -

She always had a hard time making friends, feeling like not enough but too much at the same time we know this, but I KNOW that her local Hispanic community fucking loved her. She was absolutely invited to and asked to perform at her friends' quinceañeras. They love her energy, and I think she knows a lot of Spanish from them too. She also introduced the Selena movie and her music to the girls (they both sobbed, and Rumi became absolutely obsessed with Selena's music too)

She was a huge Naruto and Dragon Ball fan growing up, and still loves anime. She's seen all of One Piece multiple times (her ringtone is Blue Bird) she was also slightly obsessed with Vampire Knight and it's a guilty pleasure show now (there's a reason she's universally understood to be a freaky one in the fandom yk?)

Only child, really close with her grandparents in lieu of her own parents because of the divorce. She calls them nearly every day

If she wasn't in Huntr/x, she would be a marine biologist. She loves diving and takes the girls diving with her whenever they get the chance to be in California (Rumi is terrified until she actually gets in the water, Mira loves it the entire time and tries to convince Rumi to swim with sharks with her)

loves reading books but passes out nearly immediately, so either Mira or Rumi will read to her which is fine because then they all learn the story at the same time. Rumi is a really good speaker and perfectly reads the lines, and Mira does really really good voices and sound effects

she has endometriosis, and her menstrual cycle is really painful, so the girls who normally spoil her - spoil her even more when this happens. she has chronic pelvic pain so she'll often have a heating pad on her when they get home. The girls love to massage her hips, lower abdomen, lower back, to ease the pain. She has a crazy high pain tolerance too (tis but a flesh wound)

she also tends to get cold really easily (girl has no meat on her bones) so the heating pad is multi-purpose

has a nasty slouch that Mira corrects all the time

Is the only one that knows how to drive but drives like a grandma

Mira -

She's the older sister, she used to take the blame for everything to protect her younger brother who just ended up drinking the flavor-aid and judging her just like their parents did

Out of all of the girls, she is the biggest magical girl fan. She tries to keep it a secret but her ringtone is literally the Sailor Moon opening (Her favorite Sailor Scouts are Sailor Uranus and Sailor Jupiter, duh)

She's non-binary, doesn't give a shit about pronouns as long as you put respect on her name. She is THE Boyfriend Girlfriend TM, and fluctuates between more masc and femme vibes on a dime and the girls can tell, and get very flustered. (I don't personally HC her as transfemme necessarily but I do love it very very much. Love to see it)

Doesn't want to admit it but she loves romcoms and slice of life anime, and she reads the new manga chapters of her faves while in the car or during hair and makeup, basically whenever she has free time (her favorite ever is Nana)

Classically trained dancer obviously, but her favorite styles of dance are the Viennese Waltz and vogueing/posing/whacking (and you can actually see similar movements in the actual KPDH choreography that resemble posing which is why I thought of it)

She used to sneak out to go to queer clubs and watch underground drag performances, so she connects very strongly to her queer identity and actually has done drag. She still talks to her drag mother a lot who keeps her up to date with the tea she misses out on while touring

A walking heater, which is great because both Zoey and Rumi run cold so they are attached to her at the hip all the time but especially when cuddling at home. Once they start dating, she does not know what personal space is anymore

has a bad habit of using dance speak even in normal conversation "oh it's easy you just *motioning with her hands* boom boom, dun, klack." and then Zoey and Rumi just stare at her until she realizes and uses clearer words (they think it's really cute)

Rumi -

I know a lot of people think Rumi runs hot, but not me. After having to cover herself up for so long, she's built up a crazy high heat tolerance so she gets cold really easily. (I had the same thing happen to me, I will almost always be the coldest person in the room, so I know that once she starts to show more skin, she is SHIVERING.)

This also means that she likes to steal both Zoey's and Mira's hoodies, because she runs even colder than Zoey. Neither of them complain, and it's not uncommon for Mira to find even both of them somehow fit into one of her hoodies at the same time while cuddling.

She's a birder. Whenever she is out and about, if there's a bird call, she's the one searching her head all around to find it and picking out which bird it is (her favorite is the oriental magpie [pica serica] which is the bird I believe Sussie was based off of [also the national bird of South Korea, fun fact] it has a super pretty song)

Because I think her patterns are sensitive, I don't think she can sleep in clothes anymore. It's too overstimulating (and means she's more likely to cuddle with Zoey and Mira for warmth and neither of them are complaining about being closer to a nearly naked Rumi)

obsessed with tea. milk tea, fruit tea, herbal tea, Zoey blew her mind with USAmerican iced tea, Mira had to make a "water only" rule during dance practices

gets really really bad cuteness aggression. while Zoey is the "i want to live in your skin" kind of super affectionate, Rumi sometimes has to T pose to regulate or else she might crush one of them. She's literally shaking like a chihuahua from it

She has special unreleased recordings of her mom singing, as well as recorded messages from her mom and dad that she listens to often. She uses them to regulate during panic attacks or depressive episodes or just to help her sleep until post-movie, then she has Mira and Zoey to help her regulate and she listens to the recordings simply for the joy of them

She got her awkward smile from her dad but she doesn't know it. She doesn't know her mom fell in love with his goofiness the same way Zoey and Mira fell in love with hers.

Throuple HCs

they're that throuple that can say "can you get me the thing from the thing?" "it's not in the thing?" "no no the other thing." "ohhh yeah I'll get it."

They like small beds. They like being completely on top of each other so they think having a big bed is kind of pointless. They all fit on a queen/full size, they frequently take naps on the couch

They're also the throuple that can communicate with only facial expressions much to the befuddlement of their staff and Bobby

Platonic:

- first off like rumi, we already know how she is with her friends. She's goofy and touchy and affectionate.

- However, we also saw she has a people pleasing problem. Meaning shes constantly looking for your approval, craving validation that what she's doing is right.

- a big part would be reassuring each other. She'd likely be extremely good at reassuring you and making sure you feel like you can take on the whole world on your own.

- if you were to do the same, though? She denys it "oh me? Amazing? No, no, no! Your way better!" You and the other two would likely just have to try and get her to understand she isn't too much and shes enough

- snacking sessions while watching turtle documentaries or just turtle tiktoks

- i have a personal headcanon that she likes all sea creatures not just turtles (though they are obviously her favorite), so let her ramble about them

- So, dont hate me, but i personally think she's autistic. She seems to have a few moments where she doesn't quite catch the tone of the mood, which i connect to a bit. Not to mention again, the turtles

- general thing, but the girls are really good at helping her when she's overwhelmed. Though, to be fair, i think her way of calming herself is writing her raps or tight hugs

- even before you're a couple or anything shed be clingy, constantly hugging you and hanging off you

Romantic:

- the clingyness just goes up like 100%. Always touching, holding hands, pinkys, at the very least touching. If it becomes a bit too much, though, she'll understand and give you space for a bit. Just gotta make sure she knows SHE isn't too much. it's just that the touching can be

- matching accessories. Ether actual full outfits or just a bracelet or necklace. Shed probably show them off too "look look! I have a leather back turtle, and they have a green sea turtle!" Something like that

- you cant tell me she doesn't ramble during movies. "Oh! Do you see that! The little detail!" Mabye im projecting-

- cute little at home movie dates, you can cuddle easily without fear of fans trying to bother her- plus constant snacking, and you can ramble without someone sushing

- i like to think she's the best cook out of the group? It seems she has a more humble background while rumi and mira seemed to have a more 'privileged' one, so i think she likely would have cooked for her family so shed likely cook for you or bake cute little cakes and stuff.

- shed be so excited to show you to the girls. She probably couldn't even wait a day after officially getting together before wanting to tell them

- just like bobby and rumi, the others are gonna grill you. Mainly mira as usual, but this is their maknae, so their fiercely protective of her. Partially due to her somewhat nieve nature. She can protect herself obviously but ya know how friends are.

- this one is also for the other two, but i forgot to add it- itd take her a bit to open up about her insecurities just like mira (and SPECUALLY rumi) but when she finally does shed probably be on the verge of tears trying to explain how shes scared shed be too much or not enough and you wouldnt want her anymore. She likely needs quite a bit of reassurance

- i dont think zoey is too different in a relationship vs. a friendship, mainly just more touches, cuddles, and kisses.

✧ Zoey gets anxious that people aren’t listening to her if they get too quiet. She’s used to being mid-ramble, asking a question, and not getting a response because the person tuned out and she didn’t realize

Okay so I know the fandom has collectively agreed that Rumi was probably overheating constantly (especially in the summer) because she was always in long sleeves when she's still trying to hide her patterns. Which. Yeah long sleeves and oversized hoodies in the summer is insane work and it's frankly a miracle that she didn't get heatstroke halfway through a performance. But that got me thinking, so consider:

The reason that Rumi was able to deal with wearing long sleeves 24/7 when she was still trying to hide her patterns was because her demon half has an affinity for high temperatures.

We don't really get to see much of the afterlife/the demon realm in this movie save for Gwi-ma's general throne room area, but assuming that this version of hell is at least loosely based on the ten gates/courts + considering the fact that Gwi-ma himself is a literal talking bonfire, it makes sense that the demons would be resistant to heat + might potentially prefer warmer environments. That being said, wouldn't it be funny if thanks to her demonic heritage, Rumi just naturally gravitates to heat like a reptile.

When Mira and Zoey start taking her to the bathhouse regularly she just spends hours in the hanjeungmak (kiln sauna) basking like a lizard while the other two are melting trying to accompany her. She has ten space heaters and a sun lamp in her room. When she starts sleeping in the same bed as Mira and Zoey she likes being sandwiched between them partially because she's touch-starved, but also because they're both very warm and her lizard brain (demon brain?) automatically associates that with comfort and safety and home. Mira and Zoey have fully come home to her stretched out across the couch with the curtains open like a cat in a sunbeam.

Bonus points if she gets really sad and mopey during the winter because it's not as warm anymore and Mira and Zoey are just trying everything to cheer her up. The reason they have a fireplace in the penthouse now is purely because they clocked her sitting as close to the heater as possible and went "nope. absolutely not. this cannot do. if the wife is not happy the life is not happy" and promptly got a renovation crew on speed dial to install a fireplace and rework the entire heating system

At some point they just accept that their girlfriend is probably some flavour of cold-blooded and just buy her a bunch of electric blankets so she doesn't feel the need to turn on the heaters in the penthouse "in the middle of summer, Rumi, what the fuck-"

neck. oddly enough, she's not too much of a romantic. sure, she likes little touches with your fingers, hands always seeking silent comfort to with your hands and all. but when she wants to kiss you, mira finds herself buried in the crook of your neck, kissing softly and gently. it's not in the sexual way where it'll leave marks, but it's enough for your skin to memorise the way her lips feels against you and her lipgloss stains which will definitely leave marks on your neck.

her favourite places to kiss are your cheeks and nose. she's always dreamt of kissing her beloved darling in those two places, because those are her favourite features of yours. your soft cheeks and your totally awesome nose. it feels affectionate and so adorable to her. and zoey loves seeing your face burned in a shade of red roses after she always pecks your cheeks and nose. she's an affectionate monster when it comes to kisses. nobody could rival her cheekiness.

A/N: Silly idea I had. They are my favorite k-pop group of all time.

RUMI

Her surprise isn't only obvious, it's visible. Her patterns immediately light up as she recognizes the song. "Are you streaming their music?"

"No! Of course not... it's my ringtone..." You mumble, phone held close to your chest. "It's catchy. But of course I like your songs better! I can change it if you want."

Rumi sighs and rubs her eyes, willing herself to calm down. "No, I... you don't need to do that, sweetheart. But I don't want you going to their events without me. Deal?" Her eyes are almost pleading and you can't look away as you put the phone down, wrap your arms around her and pull her close.

"Don't worry, Rumi, no one can steal me away from you." And you meant that wholeheartedly. But Rumi, she needed a few kisses to be fully convinced.

MIRA

"Ugh, really babe? That song? You couldn't have picked literally anything else?" Mira groaned as she slumped from your hug, her back now turned to you and her arms crossed over her chest.

You snorted at her jealousy. Mira was heavily protective of you, but she also got jealous easily. This ran deeper, this wasn't just a rival group, but one made up of demons that she had sworn to hunt.

"Not like I'm going to their shows or backstage or anything. But I do think the song is really nice. Hey, come on, look at me Mira." She huffed but you knew how to get to her. With a smile you pressed your soft front to her back, your lips ghosting her ear, "I'll make it up to you." You whispered in a breathy, sultry tone.

"It better be good." She could never stay mad at you, not when you were so cute. "Come on then, I'm waiting."

ZOEY

You didn't even get to say anything before you saw Zoey mouthing the words of the song. She didn't even notice she was doing it until you started laughing.

"Damn it! Why is it so catchy?!" She fell backwards on the couch and kicked her feet. "You noticed it too huh, beautiful? I wanna hate it but I just can't! Don't tell the others!"

She looked serious but you couldn't help but laugh. "Don't worry, Zoey." You leaned over her and lowered yourself for a kiss. "Your secret is safe with me. Sealed it with a kiss. Or two, or three."

"Good. I won't tell if you won't. But..." Her hands gripped the front of your shirt and she got serious for a moment. "Just so you know, I ain't letting any demon steal my girl." That was her promise that was also sealed with a kiss. Or two, or three.

So you know that thing about how a cat’s purr supposedly is at a frequency that helps your body heal? Like, allegedly it can help speed up bone and tissue growth, lower blood pressure, heal migraines, etc.

So whatever you do don’t picture the girls collapsing in a cuddle pile after a messy hunt with Rumi on top, purring up a storm in an effort to help her girls feel better

How do you see Huntrix being parents to pets or actual kids?

Hi! Parenting is one of my special interests so this is a delicious ask, thank you so much.

Zoey has a good amount of experience with pets, and kids. In another post, I said I HC she was beloved in her local Hispanic community in Burbank. So I think she got used to being around kids of all different ages. I could see her even having done some babysitting jobs when she was younger. For being an actual parent, she would be definitely the most relaxed among the three of them. Her kids call her "mama." She knows kids get into shit, but she knows they're also more durable than people think they are. She definitely teaches her kids skateboarding, and she would have a surprisingly good grasp on any material the kid was learning to help with schoolwork (and if she didn't know, she'd become hyper-focused on learning it). She knows how to make everything fun, from trying scary new foods to brushing your teeth. She does worry a lot about her kid going to school and having friends, and tends to pry into their personal life sometimes. She is also SUPER into the Montessori method. She is the parent that her kids know will say yes, much to Mira and Rumi's chagrin. She can't say no to her babies. I think she starts presentation nights with the kids where they each make presentations and talk about something they like or learned about and thought was cool (Mira and Rumi join in because "it has to be a family thing"). For pets, she would take every stray in if she could, even a stray fish. She knows a lot about pet care, even for pets she realistically would never have, but you never know, right? Better to know just in case she stumbles upon a stray macaw. I think she would honestly have a turtle as a pet, because she's so interested in them, finds them chill and easy to care for, she takes the turtle on walks, she loves the background noise of the tank, it just makes sense for her to me.

Mira would have ZERO pet or kid experience. I HC she's her brother's older sister, but not older enough to have experience actually caring for a child. She is "mom" to her kids cause she doesn't want anything fancy. She's definitely the parent her kids go to if they need to know the truth about something because she doesn't believe in withholding information to kids. She talks to them like they're equals, so there's not much baby talk from her. Her kids have a very... mature... vocabulary, and she raises no nonsense kids who are not afraid to tell you their honest feelings too "yeah we told him his shirt looked like it was 30 years old and not in the good way" "I know you're being honest and thank you, and that was really really funny, but I need you to keep some thoughts inside so I don't get another call from the school please". I still think she is really caring though, even without experience. Her kids, Zoey, and Rumi are her whole world, and she will do ANYTHING for them. She's always lifting them onto her shoulders, she's reading to them with fun voices and sound effects, she's rough housing with them, she's the most physically affectionate mom of the three to everyone's surprise. She also doesn't mince words with her affection, telling her kids often how they're the lights of her life, her beautiful babies, flower petals, baby bears, literally every term of endearment under the sun. Mira is NOT afraid to tell them she loves them. Very straight faced, monotone "you are the best thing that has ever happened to me, I have never loved anything as much as I love you and I will always be here for you" before immediately wrestling her kid to the ground. Now for pets, she's the "you can keep it, it's very cute, but I'm not taking care of it" which means absolutely fucking nothing. She is researching the best and most expensive food, she's having their personal chef making the pet's food, she's giving it it's own room, she can not be separated from it. This is doubled if it's a cat, but she would do this with any pet, even Zoey's turtle.

Rumi would have dealt with some stray cats and wild animals growing up, giving them food and water, building shelters for them during the cold months, but no indoor pets. Celine definitely couldn't handle demon fighting, raising and training Rumi, AND a pet all by herself. So when Zoey brings up the idea of them getting a pet, she is super excited. She does research, she gets everything all set up, she's super attentive. I think she would do best with a cat, like Mira, but she also has a soft spot for fish because she would be meticulous about checking their water and temps, I just know she would enjoy the almost mathematical nature of caring for fish. For kids, similar background. She's interacted with stray kids before but never any related to her directly. She's good with kids, she does her research, she knows what she's doing, but unlike with pets, she worries a FUCK TON. She is the worrying mom and if it wasn't for Mira and Zoey she would probably be the worst helicopter mom on the planet (especially if she can teleport). I HC her as having OCD, so I think she would get compulsions a lot with checking her kids and the only thing that helps her manage it is Mira and Zoey reassuring her that they already did it, that she already did it, that the kid is fine, etc. Her kids call her "mommy." The kids go to all their moms, but Rumi is THE mom when their kids have nightmares. She's basically a night light and will sing the kids to sleep again, telling them there are no monsters but if there were, their moms would have already taken all of them down before the kid even woke up. She definitely does worry about demons but that is like, the one thing that she KNOWS she can manage. She is HUGE on the mirror positive affirmations for her kids. "I am strong, I am smart, I am beautiful, I am funny, I am kind, I am loved." She starts crying once her kids start doing it themselves even when she's not in the room doing it with them. If her kids have patterns like her, she is telling them EVERY SINGLE DAY how beautiful they are and she calls them her little tigers to make them feel proud of their patterns.

Rumi is absolutely a bottom and it’s exactly what she deserves. Come on; a workaholic who has been put in a position of authority at a young age (even if she doesn’t do much bossing around) is under a TON of stress and probably has a lot of issues involving intimacy.

Mira can be the expected top. As much as I like to play around with expected roles and stuff: I do think she would really enjoy taking care of her people. I don’t think she’s like, a stone top, but I think she mostly enjoys sex as a way to take care of her partners (and it’s a bit of an ego boost for her) 

Zoey is absolutely a switch. I don’t know why people think that just because she’s sweet it means she’s a pillow princess but she doesn’t have that vibe for me. To me it feels like she’s pretty flexible and always wanting to do new things, but doesn’t limit herself in terms of ‘role’.

That is to say; the polytrix rot is real.

✧ They’re a little codependent but the sprinkles of toxicity are mutual so it cancels out

✧ Mystery never wants to go anywhere if Zoe isn’t going. He goes to social stuff because she goes and he wants to spend time with her.

✧ Zoey will still go to things on her own sometimes, leaving Mystery to hangout at home, but she spends a lot of time on her phone texting him and always leaves earlier than she would have if Mystery was with her

✧ This is entirely her choice, not once has he ever asked her to come home or complained about her going out. She just misses him extra hard sometimes and finds herself getting bored way faster when he isn’t around

✧ If it was up to either of them, they’d be together literally all of the time.

✧ They can’t actually do that, so he just follows her everywhere like a puppy on an invisible leash as much as he can

✧ He can see perfectly fine through his bangs (demon logic) but he still has a habit of running into things as if he couldn’t. Poles, signs, corners, fire hydrants. He’s surprisingly clumsy

✧ He’s sorta an airhead, he’s ignorant to a lot of things that humans would think of as common knowledge

✧ Mystery thinks Zoey is the smartest person in the entire world and he says it a lot

✧ he eventually gets comfortable enough to ask her questions not just about herself, and she answers him with lots of details and excited hand gestures

✧ She’s happy he’s curious about humans in general and happier that he was asking her.

✧ In reality he’s still just curious about her and not all humans. No other ones, really. Maybe the rest of Huntrix, barely. he could handle her friends because they were extensions of Zoey.

✧ he was asking about topics he remembered her mention before in conversation.

✧ Zoey forgets what stories she’s told and what conversations she’s had with what people, so it doesn’t really click together that she just happens to know at least a little bit about pretty much about everything he asks

✧ he’s not doing it with manipulative intentions. Dude just genuinely could not care less about anything if he can’t play ‘seven degrees of Zoey Huntrix’ with it

✧ He compliments her multiple times a day, usually just blurting out something he was thinking as opposed to any sort of setup or cute delivery. In his eyes he’s just saying things that are true, but Zoey always giggles and thanks him anyways

✧ His deadpan tone and complete lack of awareness, in Zoey’s eyes, is a cute delivery

✧ Zoey is a crazy good baker. Mystery will hangout in the kitchen with her, sitting down and staying the hell out of her way as she zooms between cupboards

✧ Every so often she stops in front of him, a piece of chocolate or pastry or whatever else she was messing around with pinched between her fingers, and pops it in his mouth for a taste test

✧ He’s never any help when she’s trying to figure something out, but Zoey already knows that. She’s not expecting critique, she just gets all giddy seeing him smile and say it’s yummy when he tastes it

✧ where Jinu never lets Rumi see his demonic eyes, Mystery is exactly the opposite with Zoey

✧ When they’re at home, even after he’s started pinning up his bangs, he only ever has bright amber eyes with cat-like pupils

✧ Mystery has nothing but his demon form in his past, and as much as he didn’t care, sometimes he wondered what Zoey thought. If she ever remembered he was a demon when she was alone and recoiled at the thought of his ‘real’ form

You pushed the eyeshadow palette to the side as Rumi laid below you, watching you decide on what to do next. You’d been bugging her for a while now about designing her show makeup and it was on this dull day in the middle of their break that she had finally agreed.

It wasn’t professional, or high effort, it was simply an idol and her partner sprawled out in bed. The weight of your chest laid on hers, your elbows propping you up just enough to look down at her as you created your masterpiece. You placed some blush to her cheeks, a light dust of color to finish off what you’d been working so hard on.

You set the blush aside, readjusting your weight to look down at Rumi once more, your eyes wandering over her features to take in what you had created. Halfway through your observations you stopped, your gaze lingering on her patterns. Slowly you brought your hand up, brushing your fingers over the patterns that spread across her forehead. Your eyes traced the movement memorizing the shape as your fingers ran along her skin.

“I’m glad you don’t cover them up.” You spoke softly, your fingers moving further up to tuck back some of her loose hairs.

She looked at you silently for a moment, watching you focus, holding onto the gentleness within your stare. “Yeah?” She responded, her voice barely above a whisper.

You smiled, bringing your hand down to cup her cheek, “Yeah.” You finalized meeting her gaze.

A warmth settled in her chest, something about you, your acceptance of what she’d tried to hide for so long, made her fall even harder for you.

And maybe, she thought after a moment, you’d have to do her makeup more often.
