My preferred view of LuSopp is basically like. So I'm autistic and I have never understood what the difference between romantic feelings and friendship feelings are, and I see Luffy as being the same way.

Like he and Usopp are best friends that bang sometimes, and Luffy also bangs Zoro sometimes, and is also friends with the rest of the crew in different ways, but actually defining any of those relationships is basically impossible. Therefore, Luffy doesn't bother to.

So from what I understand Finn in the selkie au is jealous that she can’t be a seal. Like why can’t she be a seal if she can turn into different animals?

2) Law's crew is ecstatic because they know him and it proves pirates won't go to whatever selkie hell they can't be sure doesn't exist, Buggy wants to go home or shit on Roger's grave or break onto the Red Force and start loudly sobbing, Yasopp is the smugest fucking bastard in the world he gets even worse about harassment with baby pictures or Usopp but he's also so proud, Momo thinks that makes sense since Luffy is the god of the sun and obv the sun and moon are in love (Caethes would never), Hiyori doesn't drop zo|u but instead picks up zolusopp, Eurydice trusts her maybe-technically-brother-in-law and also sees this as hope for the future of her people is so elated that she's alive to both see and fight for it, Asrar has no idea what's going on

3) Imagined. Approved.

4) Nope, neither are selkies

5) unknown, because the concept of hybrids is unknown.

6) she could and she did once but just the sight and the idea that she could be a selkie sent Buggy into a panic attack he needed a week to recover from, Rayleigh lied and said it was just cultural appropriation to do that so Finn won't.

the death grip zoro has on wado is insaneee. this scene is only a few panels in the manga and doesn't include zoro's reaction, so this was a nice detail added in by toei.

i find it interesting ? how negatively some people react to zoro's behavior / attitude regarding usopp in water 7 and think that it was genuinely detrimental to their overall relationship...? W7 saga has some of zosopp's greatest moments because zoro holds usopp accountable (at least in my opinion). like yeah he's p uncompromising, but its because he WANTS him there with everyone. he knows usopp can do and be better, so he doesn't let him get away with anything!! letting him come back without showing he's learned anything from it would be a disservice to everyone on the crew, including usopp!!!

and like. zoro's not one to just be all talk especially when it really matters. if he truly thought it was best for the crew to leave usopp behind, he would not be saying he "didn't hear anything" no matter what luffy was saying and yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, but this is SUCH an underrated trio??

You've got the Monster Trio, Cowardly Trio, Adult Trio, Big-Kid Trio, Romance Dawn Trio, and several others.

But there's always been something thematically significant about these three. It's just more difficult to find a concise term for it, unlike the other crew dynamics. That's one reason why so many readers tend to overlook it, IMO
