"I know the merge of the two cities took a lot of adjusting to," Jenny muses with a grin. "But you have to admit there's a unique beauty to the way the parks blended together."

"Hey Nova," Jenny greets softly, folders tucked neatly in her arms as she settles down in one of the chairs at the nurses station. "You on night shift with me tonight?"

Closed Starter - @vilisisms (Aliyah)
"It's not that simple," Jenny counters softly, hands shoved into her pockets as she stands beside her telescope, her gaze on the witch as a soft laugh leaves her lips. "But then nothing's ever simple with you Bennett witch's."

[ kristin kreuk | she/her ] A new face takes refuge under Dark Skies. JENNIFER GILBERT, an 29 year old HUMAN, is one of those from the FUTURE learning to navigate this changed world. People say behind their back that they’re SENSITIVE but the truth is that they’re really LOYAL. Their style can best be described as TANK TOPS, SOFTBALL, AND JUJUTSU, and we’ll see how that helps them fit in.

Amused laughter leaves her lips as she shakes her head at the male, tossing the bale of hale of the stall door before she wipes her hands against her leather clad thighs. "Gee, if only somebody had suggested that once or-," Jenny laughs softly with an amused roll of her eyes. "Ten times."
The brunette shakes her head at his words, slowly moving towards him as the tone in the air shifted. "You're not bothering me," she assures him softly. "I'm glad you're here actually. Sorry I've not- I've just been decompressing and trying to find my parents and siblings."
"Better only say nice things about me, Mr. Horse." He spoke to the creature in the stall before smirking jokingly back at Jennifer. He gave a small nod as she admitted this was just one of her hideaways, smiling to himself a few moments before clearing his throat at her compliment. "Thanks. Amazing what some good sleep can do." He brushed it off and shot her one of his signature grins.
"Hey, for real though, if I'm bothering you by being here or anything... just tell me. Yeah?" He shifted tones and demeanor so suddenly. He honestly didn't have a good reason to be there other than wanting to spend some sort of time with the woman. He had worried about her nonstop during the costume party and then to go a couple months with no real conversation... He shook his head to dismiss his thoughts.

"No, I just checked his vitals and he's perfectly fine at the moment," Jenny tells her with a roll of her eyes. "He's just plain old grumpy tonight. God, yes please. I'm starving."
"Anything for you JenJen." Nova said with a wink. "Is he having another low blood sugar episode." Nova clicked her tongue. "Could have sworn someone gave him insulin." Nova sighed. "Let's order before someone throws their rocking chair."

"I can see how some people would feel that way," Jenny muses softly, her gaze shifting from Marshall to one of the horses that poked their head out as she approached, hand raising to pet at its neck. "Really? You wanna give him a sugar cube? They're his favorite."
"Really? I've never ridden before. Horses were always so... large. Kind of intimidating." Marshall shuffled his feet awkwardly as he watched the woman work. The public stables had seemed like a decent way to get out of the house and pass some time for a little while. He spent so much time in the walls of the compound these days and he could really use the break. "I've only ever really messed with your normal pets.... you know, cats and dogs." He spoke.

"You're a stubborn lot," Jenny offers lightly, a soft laugh leaving her lips as she shakes her head. "Arynn is- yes, an idiot but I just- even though I know I should stand by my decision it's really hard. I still love him, Aliyah. I can't get him out of my head."
"actually it is that simple, simply arynn is just an idiot." aliyah shrugged, her fingertips lightly dancing on the metal of the telescope before she took over the spot, peering up into the night sky. "i truly don't know what you're trying to imply here, jen."

"Right," Jenny states excitedly, a grin plastered to her lips as she glances at the blonde beside her. "Almost like it was a puzzle and these two pieces were a perfect fit for each other. As someone from Mystic Falls, I will definitely never complain about an ocean view."
"There is. Like, there's a lot of chaos but it feels like the cities had...I don't know, a plan when they came together. The parks look nice together, the buildings didn't all smash into each other, suddenly Mystic Falls has an ocean view - really can't beat it," Ember smiled.
