Sandwich 🥪

On a sturdy ceramic plate rests the prize of a hungry wanderer: a toasted sandwich made from bread kissed with goldenroot butter, crisped to perfection over open flame. Between the slices — thin cucumber rounds from the Weeping Garden (which, contrary to the name, don’t cry — they crunch), sweet tomatoes grown under southern glass domes, and something savory and secret: perhaps mushrooms, perhaps meat, seasoned with mountain campfire smoke and a whisper of alchemy. They say the filling changes depending on who eats it — a warrior tastes roast boar, a mage detects enchanted truffle essence, and a poet finds the flavor of home. Perfect for a bite between one curse and the next quest. Or, you know... breakfast. If you're too busy to make something proper before the cart starts rattling again.
