好い天気なので洗濯をしようと思っていたけれど、なんやかんやしているうちに、結局干せたのは 15 時過ぎ。1 時間くらいで雨がぱらついてきて、部屋干しに切り替える羽目に。

夕食は鶏肉と獅子唐と豆のカレー。昨日のミネストローネの残りも入れた。カレー・ルーは半量くらいにして、スパイス類を適当に足す。妻よりも辛めが好きなので、自分の分は行平に取り分けて、少しチリとタバスコを加えて。自家製ピクルスを添えて食べる。使った材料一覧は、だいたい入れた順に次のとおり。

グレープ・シード・オイル、玉葱、大蒜、生姜、鶏胸肉（紹興酒で下味）、バター、獅子唐辛子、ホールトマト、ミネストローネの残り、豆水煮、タイム、クローブ（粉）、ローリエ、カレー・ルー（半量）、キッチン・キング、岩塩、チリ・ペッパー、牛乳、チーズ、オイスター・ソース、パクチー、タバスコ

寝る前に、グレープ・シード・オイルを使ってオイル・マッサージをやってみた。

English Version.

昼前から妻はバンドの練習に。出かけていく前には起きられたけれど、朝食はひとりで摂ることに。生ハムと自家製ピクルスのサンドウィッチと水出しアイス・コーヒー。

2017年08月13日(日)のライブに向けて練習をした。終わったあとコンビニに行ったら、レゲエミュージシャンみたいはいでたちのオッサンが「カンガルーどころやないて！サイドから行け、サイドから」と謎の神託をしてくれた。 カルピス原液は高校の同級生からはじまったバンドなのだが、高校の近くには妖精の如きファンシーなオッサンが沢山いた。しかし同じ大阪でもアメ村のオッサンはファンシーではなくファンキーな方向性なのだ、と謎の納得をした。

ミドリのライブ映像を見ていると、後藤まりこ［敬称略］の格好好さに引き込まれながら、同時に逃げ出したくなるような痛みとでもいうべき感情を覚える。

この［生活者という］言葉が多用されはじめた背景には、明らかに日本社会の仕組みが「生産者」優位に偏りすぎてきたことへの反省がある。生産面で見れば欧米先進国に追いつき、追い越すほどの力をつけてきた日本の私たちの生活に、なぜ、ゆとりが感じられないのかという疑問、ゆとりどころか、「豊かな社会」の中に、都市問題、環境・安全・資源問題など、課題が山積していることへの不安、さらには効率や生産性を中心に組み立てられた経済社会の構造自体のきしみがあちこちで聞こえはじめたという実感もある。日本社会の「豊かさの自明性」がほころびはじめたことへの確かな予感といってよいだろう。 「生活者」とは、日本社会にたいするそうした反省や疑問、不安や予感の入り混じった混沌のなかから生み出された、人々の願望や期待のこめられた、新しい人間類型のラベルとみるべきなのかもしれない。とすれば、生活者という言葉をただの流行語にし、手垢にまみれさせて捨ててしまうのではなく、あいまいなお守り言葉であるがゆえの、示唆に富んだ言葉として、その内実をあらためて問いなおしてみる必要があるのではないだろうか。

Today’s dinner was

Spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino with chicken ham, okra and maitake mushroom,

Salad of cucumber and wakame seaweed

Soup of eggplant and celery.

昼前に煙草を買いに泉亭まで行ったら、店のおっちゃんが顔を覚えてくれたみたいで、行ったらすぐに Peace を出してくれた。普段は Peace Light を喫んでいるけれど、コンビニよりこっちのほうが近いので、ほかに出かける序のないときは、ここで買っている。

In the late morning, I went to Izumi-tei to buy cigarettes. The shop owner remembered me and take me Peace as soon as I had arrived.I usually smoke Peace Light but, since this shop is nearer than convenience stores, I go to this shop when I have no other place on the way.

Today’s breakfast is a sandwich of chicken ham and eggplant which I bought at a roadside stand this morning. 

The lunch was an omelette with celery and green olive which I made for a Wife's boxed lunch and marine of maitake mushroom and onion with leftover miso soup and rice.

今日の夕食は、ビントロの炙り丼（E・レシピを参考にアレンジ）と舞茸のバルサミコ炒め。セロリの味噌汁は妻が作ってくれた。

Today’s dinner was

rice bowls with roasted albacore

sauteed maitake mushroom and onion with balsamic vinegar

miso soup with celery (cooked by Wife).

雨上がりで涼しくなったかなと思って、窓を開けてみたら、猫が居たので、カメラを持って出る。向かいの屋根や軒下によく来ている猫は、たぶん 3～4 匹ぐらい。1 枚目の三毛はカメラを持って近づくと警戒して逃げてしまうけれど、2, 3 枚目の鯖白は、けっこう近づかせてくれる。なお、4 枚目の妻は、よく猫と “縄張り争い” をしている。

After the rain, as I had opened the window to check whether it had become cool enough to turn the air conditioner off, I found there were cats, so I get out with my camera. The number of the cats I often see on the eaves of the house across the alley may be three or four. The calico cat in the first picture is so cautious that with my camera held I can’t be as close to her as to the silver tabby one in the second and fourth pictures. My wife, in the fourth picture, by the way, sometimes displays “territorial behaviours” to cats.

After severe thunders, there came an evening shower.

今日の昼食は、鶏ハムの洋風親子丼。

Today’s lunch is a half-western style bowl of rice with chicken ham and egg. Bowls of rice with chicken and egg are very popular in Japan with the name Oyakodon, whose literal translation to English is parents-children-bowls (do you think it’s crazy?).

洗濯用の粉石鹸は徳用パッケージで買っていて、使い切る前にその箱がベコベコになってしまうので、見栄えの好い容器を探していたところ、無印良品のメイク・ボックスが、それなりに密封できて、蓋が本体とくっついていて、楽に開け閉めできるので、ちょうど使いやすそうなので、北大路ビブレで買ってきた。

I use laundry soap powder in bigger paper boxes which become crooked before they get empty, so I had been looking for some good looking case for the powder. Then I found that a make box of Muji would suit my purpose. It can be closed modestly enough, the cap isn’t separated, and it can be opened easily. The first reason which I went to Kitaōji Vivre the other day was to buy this one.

この 2 枚は、白黒に現像しようと思って、ノイズを乗せるために高感度で撮った写真だけど、カラーにしてみたらそれはそれで好いかんじの雰囲気になった。

These photos are taken in high sensitivity to make noise for monochrome development but came to have nice taste in colour.
