Been experiencing protein shortage in our house since my husband can’t live without it and a 3 whole chicken are still not enough for us TWO for 2 weeks, only 1 week 🥲

And FYI, we only eat it at night. We don’t eat breakfast because we do fasting. Lunch time, he has different food. And it’s still not enough 🤣

For just 2 people. 🤣

But feels like 5! 🤣

So I decided to buy this 3kg chicken drumstick for us, again, TWO! 🤣 so we can survive for another week. ONE week y’all 🤣 before our grocery day again this week 🤦🏻‍♀️

Also, I practiced driving again awhile ago with hubby and he decided to reward me with this delicious subway 🥹

Got my 1st dentist appointment today! 😊

My HA has the lightest hand I’ve ever experienced 🥹 so thankful for her, it made it easy for me 🤣 didn’t feel any pressure on my teeth and gums while she’s cleaning it. Even though she keeps on reminding me that my gums might swollen after.

But it won’t.🥹 Hoping that when I get back there on August, she’ll do my cleaning again.🙏🏻🤣

Thankful for you, my teeth fairy, Asya! 💕🦷🧚

And oh, I got some goodies too after my appointment 🤣

Meal prep! 🍽️

Decided to cook some Honey Sriracha Chicken and sautéed garlic string beans for dinner 😋

I also used the chicken drippings for the sauce and it’s ohhhh sooooo goooooood! 😍🤤

Hubby liked it sooooo much.😋

Simple, fresh, and healthy home cooked meals are always the best 😍

1 day before January ends! 🥳

Feels like it’s the 48th day of the month because January is feels like a freaking loooooooong month every start of a new year 🤣

I don’t know why. Or is it just me? 🤣

Anyways! I’m planning to bake and sell cakes for this coming valentine’s day and just doing some costings of how much will I spend for this.

The ingredients are ok, I can get them from our local grocery store, but my problem is the packaging. I found a supplier online same with my work’s supplier the problem is, the shipping fee 🤣 it’s so expensive. I’ll try if I can find anything around our area. Hopefully I’ll find one 🤞🏻

Also, I ordered things for my growing Thai Basils 🤣 some vitamins and other things. Getting ready for them to grow big. Lol.

And some cake rings too for my plan.

Hoping for a positive update regarding my plans 🤣

And I hope my Thai Basil won’t die on me. So far, so good. They’re still alive 🤣🤣

Good morning ☀️

Got up early today because hubby has work today and I needed to prepare his food.

After that, I decided to do my blood works today so I don’t have to do it next week anymore and just book an appointment for a follow up check-up.

It’s so nice to work this early actually. Loved it! ✨ and the weather is so beautiful today. It’s sunny and not that cold compared to the previous weeks.

I was able to booked my dentist appointment too.

I was able to close my ring today too 🥳 what an achievement! 🤣 because usually when I’m off, this ring won’t move since I’m just staying at home.🤣 But today, I closed it! 😉

Dinner time! 🍽️

Made some Adobo Bao Buns for us tonight! 😉😋

Hubby, as usual, liked it again 🤣 He really likes to eat! Hahaha.

Day off well spent, indeed! 😌

Back to work again tomorrow 😉

First things first, ✨ breakfast ✨

I rarely eat breakfast because I always do fasting and will just have lunch and dinner in a day.

But today, we are both off so I made us some breakfast to start our day.

Omelette, Lettuce, Home made wheat bread, and some sliced orange for dessert.

Next,

I placed my Thai Basils in front of our big window for some sun light while hoping that they will not wilt and die on me 🤣

First time growing some plants actually. Lol.

After that, I decided to make some

✨Banana Bread & Whole Wheat Bread✨

It’s been a while since I bake breads like this. Though, this is my first time making Whole Wheat bread. Hubby’s request 🤣

After this, he decided to get more Bananas from work and bring it home for more Banana Breads 🤣

It’s 3pm, meaning it’s ✨snack time✨

Hubby asked me what I want to eat for snack. He gave me options but I chose to try the Chinese restaurant around the area for the first time.

It’s good and not super salty compared to other noodle from other Chinese Restaurants. This one is tasty, and has a right amount of saltiness.

Loved it! ✨

Dinner time! 🍽️

Hubby requested for something light this time since we ate a lot today. 5x to be exact 🤣🤣

So I made this protein burger for our dinner and Hubby’s crazy about it after tasting it. He said it’s his first time trying this kind of burger and really likes it.

I guess we experienced a lot of first time today.

Our good friend gave me some Thai Basil leaves and cuttings that I can grow on my own.

And since I have basil, and I feel ✨fancy✨ tonight, I made some Chicken Pesto Pasta with some garlic asparagus with parmesan cheese on the side.

Adulting 101:

Making grocery list shopping and meal prep planning

This is one of the adult thing that I enjoy doing 🤣

I mean, who doesn’t like shopping? Especially, grocery shopping 🛒?

So I’m listing down all the things that we need for the next 2 weeks as I write this down here 😂:

Multi tasking 😌

I want to do some meal prepping this time for our food so we can:

1. Save time from cooking

2. Eat just the right amount of food 🤣 so we can

3. Lose weight! 🤣 this is the goal! Hahahaha

Because we have a wedding to attend to this coming May so we need to prepare and get rid of our holiday bodies from too much eating last holiday season 🤣

Just a normal day today, but I find this photo very special.

I’m not really a book worm, but I’m trying. Since I want to make it my new hobby this year. The goal to finish at least 5 books this year 🤣😮‍💨

And here we are, just us two, sitting on our sofa in our living room, sipping warm cup of green tea 🍵, while reading books 📖 together and enjoying the comfortable silence between us.👩‍❤️‍👨

Husband got home and was feeling sick and tired today.

He’s quiet which is very unusual of him because he always talks a lot about his day. But today, it’s different.

He’s hungry so I gave him food, but that doesn’t suffice the tiredness he’s feeling.

So we lay down together, hugged him, and I let him sleep for a while so he can take a rest.

Power Nap.

Good thing it works, somehow and regained his energy a little bit.

Then later, he said his tummy aches and needed to do #2

And guess what,

After that,

He became ok 🥹

He said maybe he just needed to take a 💩 to feel better after all 🤣🤣🤣

SO FREAKING TIRED! 🥵😮‍💨

I cleaned our room before we started our task for today, which is to assemble the bed frame and other things.

We finished assembling the bed frame and night stand. And will just follow the dresser when we have time again 🤣😂

It’s so heavyyyyyy! 🥵 but it’s fun because I had a chance to bond with my husband by just assembling this.

After this, I feel like I’m good with what appliances and furnitures we have right now.🤣

So tiring!!!

It actually feels weird now because we feel like our bed became smaller than it used to be, or maybe because it’s higher now compared before? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

But it’s pretty! 😍
