What are some of your favorite character relationships/dynamics in TMNT, and why? Is there anything that you particularly like seeing explored with them in fan works (art, writing, comics, etc)?

So many choices! lol : ) I think 1 of my favorites (at least the first one that comes to mind) is Raph and Casey.

Mostly because i love seeing raph have a close friend outside his family, especially one that he's very similar too (at least in most iterations.) I just like that Raph has someone to talk to outside his brothers and love seeing when fanworks use that. I especially like seeing Rise fanworks do this since cannon never gave us a Raph&Casey friendship b/c they deserve it!

There's several other dynamics i really like (like donnie and raph or mikey and donnie) but the Raph and Casey is the only one i really have words to explain why.

I thought i escaped sims 4 but it's dragged my dumbass back again.

I hate this game. I need so many mods just to be able to just to fix it so i can play without being frustrated. but no matter how frustrated i get, i keep coming back : /

Anyways! Like my new little me? (i forgot what they're called. Avatar? *Shrug*) I'll put some more stuff (and doodles) about them under the cut

They're a candle! The body and oversize hoodie are all the wax and the undercut ponytail is the little flame (like Ember from Danny Phantom lol). Her feet are kinda goopy and her hands never show b/c the sleeves of the hoodie drip over them (sometimes driping off completely.)

i got kinda bored with my old one (drawing me but purple) so they got a little upgrade for my silly little personal doodles.

aw thank you! Yeah, i'm doing better. the last few months have been quite a bit chaotic irl (burn out, family stuff, new meds, kittens, etc) but it's starting to calm down now.

I love your family web AU! (I'm working on my own AU with Big Mama having partial custody of Raph so I'm glad to see more of Mama being... a mama) And was wondering something about their heritage. We know QUITE a bit about Yoshi's side but we know very little about Big Mama's. Would she be going through old books with the boys like "Here is your grandfather! He was an incredibly-ledibly man!" so they can feel more connected to their yokai side?

(I've tried to answer this ask 3 times now and my foster kitten kept jumping into my lap and pinning my arms so i couldn't lol)

But yeah, i definitely think she would. b/c these boys grew up with their only family being eachother and their father, so making sure they knew they have/had an extended family on top of 3 other dirrect family members would be pretty important to her, and pretty fasinating for them.

Though i'm sure she was explaining this to all of them, i think she may have focused on showing Raph more. He inherited her family mystics, the having a human form thing, so it would be more important that he knew where that all came from. (plus, the mystics itself teaches a new user(?) how to use it via dreams of their ancesters using it, particularly from their point of view so said they are familiar with how it feels and works. It doesn't cover everything, hense him still having to have 'how to use shapeshifting mystics' lessons with Mama, but i imagine he would want some information on who he was seeing in those dreams.)

I'm not entirely sure if Mama has any living relatives on her side, at the moment i'm leaning towards not. (Half b/c i don't really want to generate any more ocs for this fic lol. And half b/c i think it would make a lot of sense for her and Lou's relationship pre-kids. Like they were just two people with no family/close relationships left just not wanting to be alone anymore. idk it just makes sense to me.)

Dragon Deku maybe?

been rereading mha (i didn't get past the school festival thing after eri the first time (that might have been all that was out at the time? Idk) so yeah) So i started playing with the concept of if Izuku's dad's fire breathing quirk was a result of a dragon mutation type quirk and not just breathing fire (which, of course, leads to dragon deku)

it's just something i'm playing with to kinda stretch my creative muscles as i come back from burn out. (mostly stemmed out of the fact that i went through pretty much all the winged izuku fics on ao3 and none of them were quite to my tastes. (plus a lot of them were with inko being abusive for some reason and i just can't get behind that.) )

Im not entirely sure where i'm going with this. (if i'm going anywhere.) rn my idea is that he still grows up thinking he's quirkless b/c his doctor decided his mutations were deformities and 'fixed' them shortly after he was born.

he still has some dragon-like mannerisms like having a hoard (hero merch) and both lizard and bird like vocalizations. (they aren't quite either but both are close enough that someone with a lizard or bird mutation would recognize what they meant. mostly b/c i want Hawks and Tokoyami to be like "what the f? why is this not-birb birbing?" and then try to figure out the mystery that is izuku. (maybe draging consperacy theorist Todoroki in on it b/c that would be fun lol.))

Honestly i just wanted to draw what this boy would have looked like without meddling. (and maybe what he might look like again eventually? again IDK.)

It's unfortunate that these panels arent' working for what i need them for and have to be cut. I really love the panel break with the close up underneath, but its not bringing it where it needs to go.

I'm going to work in the parts i like into the next version of this page, b/c i like the foreshortening part of this too much. But yeah. Enjoy the cut version of a future thumbnail (that may have gotten a bit too much detail b/c i was distracted watching anime with my brother lol.)

Will Leo try other types of teas because he can't drink mint if so what kind of teas would he drink

He would drink other tea, he'd just be pouty about it lol.

honestly, he drinks other teas now, it's just that peppermint is his favorite and is, essentially, his comfort tea. Which is why i don't want to take it away from him. He can keep his comfort tea. (meaning i decided he won't grow an allergy to mint. Jennika has that particular spider trait instead.)

I think he actually likes most teas, or is at least willing to try a lot of different blends. The other types he standardly goes is just whatever they keep around the house (dad's jasmine tea, green tea, camomile, and probably some others.)

Hi I really love your AUs, and have a few questions about your Webs story. I'm fairly sure when Leo found out about being Big Mama's son, but how did the other 3 turtles find out about it? And how did they each feel? Also how did Splinter find out that he has a daughter (if he ever does), and how does he feel about it?

Also I'm not completely sure how to spell her name, not very good at spelling, I think it can be shortened to Jenni though. 😋

And Yeah, Leo finds out from overhearing Splinter and Mama's conversation (during the arena fight episode) and then spends the next month or so in denial/trying to disprove it.

The other 3 find out from Leo, specifically after the 'Family dinner with Draxum' that Mikey had planned where Leo looses his shit at Draxum and ends up storming out after hearing the "no i didn't use any spider dna in the mutagen, what are you talking about?" from the dude. Donnie follows him to the roof and gets the entire angry/frustrated info dump about the thing, as well as Leo admitting he wanted to know without a shadow of a doubt before telling them. So the twins end up going to Mama to get confirmation straight from the source and then going back and filling the other two in on what just went down.

Mikey and Raph in particular were frustrated that Leo kept this from them for this long (even if he wasn't entirely sure, they feel he should have told them. Donnie's feels that way too, but he also feels that Leo was being dumb for not just asking the people involved outright instead of his sneaky snooping he had been doing.)

I don't think any of them really know what to think of Mama being their mom at first. Though Raph and Mikey are more willing to at least try to give her a chance, while Leo and Donnie are a little more stand off ish.

Splinter does find out he has a daughter at some point (he actually has 2. Jennika & Venus (who's a turtle mutated with his dna. She's the other 5's half sibling, but still Splinter's daughter.) I'm not entirely sure when/how he finds out. I dont think Mama would tell him b/c she is far too protective of her and already lost her children to him once.

Right now, i'm thinking that once the boys find out who she is, they tell him, but kinda off hand. Like I'm not entirely sure they knew that he didn't know. So it would probably go something like this-

"We officially met our little sister today."

"Your what?"

Anyways! He's definitely in shock over the whole thing at first but he does want to get to know her (even if she's not exactly fond of him at the moment.) I think she's part of the reason he agrees to the joint custody, so he can spend time with his daughter as much as Mama gets to spend time with her sons.

And no worries! I'm bad at spelling too lol. I usually spell her name J-E-N-N-I-K-A. And i shorten it to Jenny for a nickname.

In the family web, I assume Mama is VERY happy to see her long loss sons again. Does it take her long to process that the turtles are her dear children lost for over a decade ? Does she try to mother them as soon as she realizes? Is she upset by the quite frankly concerning revelation that her precious boys lived in a sewer for most their lives?

That she is! She is absolutely elated that her sons are alive and well (though she does want to know why and how they got mutated before mutations were a thing.)

And yeah, i think it takes some time to process. Mostly because she does not believe Splinter when he first tries to tell her. It takes Leo out maneuvering her in the arena fight for her to even consider he might be telling the truth. (she runs a dna test. or several just to be sure. It comes back matching enough to support the claim.

The second she knows for sure, she's getting her lawyers on putting together a custody case b/c she has spent the last 13 years without her boys and she wants them back. She's having them followed, and trying her best to get as much information about them as possible. And like at this point most of the boys don't even know what's going on. (Leo does technically, but he's in denial.) So all this is less 'mom being (understandably but still) overly protective' and more 'why is the weird spider lady being even weirder?'

And yeah, she is not happy they're living in a human sewer system. Like by now, their home area is probably cleaner than the normal sewer areas, but still. they're her kids. they deserve better.

I just finished the danny phantom fic I didn't know you watched danny phantom. How whould danny and the turtles react to each other a doodle

Yeah! it was one of my middle school/early high school hyperfixations. back before i had access to the internet at home (or cable. let me tell you, being fixated on something that you have no way of getting content for is agony. one of the first things i did when i got my first laptop was look up how to watch danny phantom and binged the series on some shady website with my siblings lol)

But yeah! Danny meeting the rise boys would probably look something like this-

Why did you call the cat Washington

He's named after the Red vs Blue character, Agent Washington. Mostly because of his gray coloring, and the fact Character Wash wears gray and yellow armor.

Most of my pets are/have been named in reference to fictional characters or series I like so it fit well : )

(oddly enough cat wash's personality matches his namesake's a bit too. Like He's pretty distrustful of new people and will hiss but once he gets to know you, he's a silly little goober lol.)
