An Update on the Tumblr Android App

For those of you who access Tumblr through our Android app, we wanted to share that starting today you may see some differences for search queries and posts that may contain specific types of sensitive content. In order to comply with Google’s Play Store Guidelines, we have adjusted what you’re able to access as it relates to potentially sensitive content while using the Android app. 

To remain available within Google's Play Store, we have added more measures and limit exposure to potentially sensitive content in order to comply with their guidelines and to provide a safer experience to you. To learn more about Google’s Play Store Guidelines, click here. 

How you may experience these changes

When browsing Tumblr through Dashboard, Search, Communities and other surfaces you might experience less content and some searches might not produce any results unless you enable “show mature content” in Tumblr settings. Please refer to our Help Center article to learn more.

Why these changes are being made

We want to make sure Tumblr is available everywhere you would like to access it. In order for us to remain in Google’s Play Store and for our Tumblr Android app to be available, we needed to make changes that would help us be more compliant with Google’s policies around sensitive content. 

We understand that, for some of you, these changes may be very frustrating – we understand that frustration and we apologize for any disruption that these changes may cause. 

Who this impacts

These changes will only impact those who are accessing Tumblr through the Android app. If you are using our iOS app, accessing Tumblr through mobile web or online through tumblr.com, your experience will remain unchanged.

Reblogging bc I've just read through chapter zero and OH MY GOD ITS SO GOOD!!!!

The music really helps to set the eerie, mysterious tone. And I loved being able to click on things to get extra information!! I'm gonna read the next chapter after work today, this is incredible ❤️

This is a re-release of the prologue.

I switched it over to Twine, removed some things, added some things, updated some pictures, cleaned up the writing, moved some bits around to improve the story flow, and added some music. Other than that, it is still largely just the same thing I posted an eternity ago.

The biggest change is to Lilith and Lucy's story lines. If you don't want to reread the entire thing, then the relevant stuff can be found here.

Chapter Zero

Still sad over the whole fiasco of me overwriting the MBTI save, so I'm now going to think about putting together a challenge for myself to play in game and see how it goes!

I can't believe I'm turning 28 tomorrow. Maybe it's bc my mental health as a teen was awful, maybe it's bc I'm a trans guy, or maybe it's both or neither, but I never saw myself living past 20. As a teen, I just could not envision myself being older than 20, to the point where I was convinced that my 20th birthday would be my final day alive and I'd die at midnight.

But 8 years later, I'm still here. I don't have the life that others would have imagined for me bc I never made plans bc of how convinced I was I wouldn't live past 20. But I'm here and I'm gradually experiencing things I never thought I'd live to experience (like getting a degree and having my first holiday!!)

So I guess what I'm gonna say is I'm glad I'm here. I'm glad that I can say I'm turning 28 tomorrow. And I'm glad that I can share little things with yall about my sims (even if my stupid tired ass overwrote my favourite save I've played so far 😂🙄).

I love yall and I love life. And happy birthday for tomorrow to me I guess!

Yall I'm devastated 😭 loaded up sims 4 to play more of the MBTI legacy last night to find my save file was overwritten. So the last time I played I must've been so tired that I accidentally saved over that save file and not even noticed. Fml 😭😭

Johnny made a trip over to Britechester to do some research on gardening for his job and met Elena Carrasco at the library there! Once again, he sadly found that he had bad compatability with her and he started to question if perhaps he's just too fussy when it comes to his preferences 🤔

Rudy decided to pop by when Johnny told him that he'd been doing a tiny bit of redecorating. They're definitely gonna become best friends, I can see it now (I say as if I didn't have this planned from the moment they met)

Johnny used the money he made from possibly creating a botanical monstrosity to add a coffee table, rug, TV, and bookshelf to his living area! While it still isn't anywhere close to his dream home, he's still happy that his house is starting to feel more like a home that someone lives in ❤️

Nobody ever said the plant life was easy. To say Johnny is worried about the fact this plant has had not just blood but werewolf blood to feed upon would be an understatement. Hopefully there won't be any howling wolf plant monsters running around any time soon!
