When you’re somehow roped into a discussion in a public setting about Love Languages and then someone utters the words Acts of Service and you’re transported instantaneously to the Perv Zone, like with wavy lines and sparkles like on an 80s sitcom, but you have to maintain some semblance of normalcy so you say “Oh, what’s that one?” and someone explains it’s, like, yard work or cleaning the gutters and you say, “oh I see,” while being tortured by visions of kinky bondage pornography and the dissertation level of hours you have devoted to deciding which powerful, violent, uncompromising fictional men most want to be told they’ve been good.

Happy 21st Anniversary D.Gray-Man!

Here is a project made by fans for the 21th anniversary of D.Gray-Man. It is viewable for free and can't be downloaded and sold in any way. 68 contributors participate in this project, resulting in 57 illustrations of Iconic Moments and 60 chronological doodles of little moments.

This fanbook has no affiliation with the official DGM in any way. The contributors claim no ownership or right to the DGM work, which is the sole property of Katsura Hoshino and Shūeisha. Each artist is the owner of and responsible for their art. Reposting any of the artwork is strictly forbidden without direct permission from the artist who made it.

like, okay, consent does literally just mean agree. which is what enables this little rhetorical trick. because there's all this cultural emphasis on sexual consent, which is just expressed as consent, a lot of phrases whose intended meanings are "rape is bad" can be taken literally to mean "i should get to agree to everything that happens in my vicinity."

I started hand quilting my batik table runner last night. I made this back in 2014 and put it aside to quilt when I got a better sewing machine. I never got the fancy machine so I have decided to hand quilt this and get it out of my cupboard and onto my table. The batting is a bit too thick for hand quilting but I didn't realise that until I had struggled through an evening of quilting. I was blaming the needle I was using but I thought about it later and I think it is the batting. I can either unpick all my stitches and replace the batting or I can just keep going. Hmmm something to think about while I do the housework this afternoon.
