Just to clarify, there's a bill that would STOP credit card companies from controlling who's allowed to spend money on porn or "risque" (read: queer) content. If you don't think big business should be able to tell you what to spend your own damn money on, call your senators and reps to let them know! It's the Fair Access to Banking Act, H.R.987 in the House, S.410 in the Senate.

We don’t mind you asking at all! 💥

Development is slow but steady. 9/10 scenes are written, and we’re at a word count of over 85k words so far! We’re currently in the middle of writing the final confrontation with our antagonist (🫣) and finishing up some of the last assets we need.

Unfortunately, it seems our original goal to finish developing the game by the end of January was too ambitious...

Once again, thank you so much for supporting "Echoes of a Turnabout: Franziska von Karma"! We appreciate everyone who has taken the time to play the game's demo, to comment on our itch page, or to leave a rating and review! It means the world to us and we can't stress that enough!

Unfortunately, while we originally were shooting for a full game release in January 2025, it seems that that short of a timeframe to finish development was too ambitious--especially for a passion project many of us are working on in our free time. As such, the team has decided to push back the release date for the full version of this Franziska von Karma fangame until it has been polished, fully play-tested, and ready to go for your enjoyment.

We're grateful for your understanding and patience as we make this difficult decision.

At this point in the game's development process, however, we are excited to share that we:

- have only one character sprite left to render - have finished rendering all additional evidence - have written over 12,000 more words since our last devlog update -  are in the process of finalizing the look and function of our "dossier" system (to mimic the "court record" in canon AA games)

So we're getting closer and closer to the finish line day-by-day! (Even if that make take a few more days than we originally planned...)

We're still hoping for an early 2025 release, though, and hope you stay tuned as we continue to update you on Echoes of a Turnabout's development!​

We first began working on our fangame in June 2024, soon after the time window for Doujin Fest opened. We’ve been working on it ever since and are still working on the full game now, even after our demo’s release!

Unfortunately, the soundtrack won’t be released until after the full game is out as there are also several other tracks which will be included that aren’t encountered in the demo portion of the game. But once the full game is released, if there is interest, we hope to share the full soundtrack on Youtube!

this demo is sooo cuute omg i adore everyone's sprites and the dialogue feels so true to the characters. AAAAH I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS SO MUCH. im only like 10 minutes in and im absolutely obsessed. i don't know how to express my excitement im like buzzing rn lol.
