do u guys remember in hermitcraft s8 when mumbo kept changing into food he ate. i like to think he's gotten the hang of shapeshifting and thats why he keeps subbing in for players in past life. also bc i think itd be funny if he's a shapeshifter but a terrible actor so he couldnt fool anyone even if he tried

I have a last life theory but it can be easily disproven in the next episode. Regardless, here it goes:

SO last episode was the second episode of last life. And randomly the boogeyman was introduced with no warning. What if in each progressing episode, the “gimmick” of a previous series is recycled. For example: double life was the third in the life series, so next episode, the third episode, would have everyone randomly get a soul mate for that session only. Then in the fourth episode there would be a timer for limited life. Then in the fifth episode everyone would get a secret for secret life. And sixth episode would have a wildcard active. It would fit the past theme, as it would be like revisiting past series. Or maybe all the gimmicks will stack. Like they’ll all add up and by the last episode all previous gimmicks are now active

I remembered I have a tumblr and I haven’t updated any of you guys on what’s going on. Fics will be finished and writing has been going on, but things are on pause right now. It’s been a busy year but I’m hoping things will finally calm down once I get a quick procedure to hopefully fix things! I’m hoping to finish Blood and Tears and some other works by the end of the year :)

If you don’t mind me asking, what happened to the Growing pains AU?

Are you and d0not-disturb still making stuff for that? is it just taking awhile to finish, is it delayed/on hiatus, or are you guys just not working on it anymore?

It was a very interesting looking AU, both the written version and the comic version were great to read through and I’d like to know what happened.

Yes! We are working on it! There was a pause due to busyness on both sides but we will (hopefully) keep pushing out chapters!

I don’t think people realize that Mumbo is just unhinged all of the time

my thoughts on this are that if one (former) hermit has let us and his community down majorly, the rest of the hermits have done themselves proud in their response. they were accessible for the victims to reach out to with their complaints. they then sought to verify them, and once they had, they directly addressed the situation in a swift and efficient manner. their statement allowed for the victims to offer their perspectives with their own voices, on their own terms, whilst preemptively warning us that they would be coming, and they had been confirmed and acted upon.

this has been dealt with extremely professionally, with care to protect the victims, and with clear decisiveness (especially from a server that is so famously indecisive, it required a coup to start its second season). this was not dragged out. allegations were not dragged through the mud and victims ripped apart by the jury of the internet. the hermits brought us a situation already resolved and within one day, we are already in the aftermath

Seriously hating how much of Grian’s comment section is just “it’s been so long since the last HC episode” and “when is the next HC episode”.

I think because of how constantly popular his HC videos in particular are his viewers are less understanding about him not posting which sucks.

I get that it’s generally a joke and people aren’t serious about it, but saying that kind of thing is as bad as hate comments; repetitive, unnecessary, and discouraging.

It also just fills the comments with the same thing again and again, instead of saying something relevant and interesting to the conversation.

I don’t know if Grian actually cares, but I think this type of community should be more positive instead of down putting. He even explained that his sever tour he was planning to do ended up taking more time than he thought and that’s why this episode took a while.
