Just a fanfic/AU I have that I'm working on that is like 50/50 crack and plot cause I suck ass at writing in character.

Back in Eiden's original world, Eiden has a younger brother named Rin who is 3 years younger than him (around 19/20) who is basically his world's version of Klein's Rin.

E!Rin (Earth/Eiden's OG world Rin) is completely different from K!Rin (Klein's Rin) and is probably what happens when a hissy black cat makes a wish to become a human but didn't clarify if they wanted to be a man or a woman and sprinkle in some social anxiety. Also cause I am high off sleep deprivation and a 38°C fever, E!Rin took part in an idol survival show which ended a bit before Eiden got summoned to Klein and is a model/actor. He also does not give a fuck about wearing feminine clothes/being feminine, he will wear them/act like it if he wants to.

Eiden and E!Rin are extremely close and protective of each other since they were always being separated when one of them gets taken into a foster home before being returned back to the orphanage. So when E!Rin found out through one of Eiden's coworkers that he disappeared, he was devastated and cursing the police since they were barely doing anything to look for Eiden.

So cue to E!Rin's surprise when he decided to buy a fancy mirror from an antique shop nearly a year later and was faced to face to Eiden when he finally set up the mirror in his room.

Turns out, Eiden also found a similar mirror in Aster's mansion and the mirrors connect Eiden's original world and Klein.

E!Rin thought he was hallucinating (or passed out from exhaustion and was dreaming) when he saw his older brother in a fancy-looking room instead of his reflection. Meanwhile, Eiden was so happy and excited to see his baby brother again.

After E!Rin finally realised that he wasn't dreaming or hallucinating, (via pinching himself and chucking a pillow towards the mirror, which went through and hit Eiden square in the face) E!Rin cycled between pure confusion and yelling at Eiden for disappearing. (and leaving him to have to talk to people when they get his order wrong or need to get a refund for something)

E!Rin also could barely comprehend what Eiden was telling him about him being summoned into a different world with magic and a thing called essence that needs to be regulated through sex. And that Eiden basically has a harem and is probably connected to a Grand Sorcerer named Huey is also dealing with a mentally unstable version of him who wants to murder everybody.

And just to make things even messier, one of the clan members was looking for Eiden and now he is also looking at the mirror that is not acting like a mirror.

Some headcanons about the Boots poem in BSD since the poem has been going viral and I can't sleep. (Please note some of these might not make sense since I wrote these with my own personal headcanons in my head and I also prob forgot a lot of stuff from BSD)

Members of the Hunting Dogs and Port Mafia all had to listen to the poem Boots by Rudyard Kipling multiple times before as part of their training to mentally prepare them if they were ever to be psychologically tortured. Some of the PM members, especially the younger ones who had to listen to the poem or had to listen to it at a young age, like Kyouka, were left traumatised by it.

Yosano, Atsushi, and Junichirou had also listened to the poem before.

For Yosano, it was because of the Great War, and since the soldiers of the unit she cared for continued to listen to the poem, she inevitably ended up listening to it.

For Atsushi, it is because before the orphanage he was in became an orphanage, it was a military camp/training ground (Idk what it's called) where many soldiers had died, and their spirits couldn't move on and so were tied to the building. Because of his ability, Atsushi was able to hear the dead soldiers' spirits repeat the poem over and over again (residual hauntings, basically) while he was chained up in the basement of the orphanage. And even though the poem itself was disturbing to most, Atsushi found comfort in it because he could hear someone else and feel like he was not alone in the basement.

(Sometimes, when Atsushi can't sleep or is deep in thought, or he finds someplace to be too quiet, he mutters out parts of the poem, but when he heard it back then in the orphanage, the voices were muffled or cut off for him so the words he mutters out are sometimes wrong. Like instead of "Try—try—try—try", Atsushi says "Why—why—why—why" or instead of "Oh—my—God" he says, "Oh—my—heart". Kyouka, Dazai and Yosano immediately knew what Atsushi was reciting despite him messing up the words and they wonder where in the world did he hear that poem.)

For Junichirou, it was when he was on Standard Island during 55 minutes. Some soldiers who had died during the Great War had attached themselves to the island after its creation. During the night, Junichirou had seen an extremely disfigured soldier spirit who was repeating the poem over and over and saying nothing else while he was rocking back and forth.

Some of my self-made Higuchi lore cause I am very gay for this woman and also since this has been stuck in my head for WEEKS.

Mori knew Higuchi's biological mother when he was younger since they went to the same school, and they basically grew up together. They also dated briefly before Higuchi's mother was forced to break up with him and was made to date and marry Higuchi's father.

Higuchi's biological parents didn't want to marry each other, but they had no choice because of their parents. They do kind of get along, though, despite everything.

Higuchi and her sister (Tsuyuko) were both conceived through intrauterine insemination (IUI), which is when sperm is washed in a lab and placed directly into the uterus during ovulation in hopes of natural fertilisation. Higuchi's parents refused to even be in the same bed as each other, so they did this to have Higuchi and her sister after mostly Higuchi's father's parents kept on telling them to have children. Regardless, Higuchi's parents cared for her and Tsuyuko very much.

When Higuchi was around 9, her parents divorced, so she and Tsuyuko stayed with their father since their father's parents were a part of the jury in the court and swayed stuff to make have their mother lose custody of them. And then, around 2 years later, Higuchi's father met her stepmother, who didn't really care for her or Tsuyuko and did the bare minimum for them. The last straw for Higuchi was when her stepmother got pregnant, and when her stepmother went into labour, Higuchi and Tsuyuko were forgotten at school and were forced to walk back home when there was a snowstorm coming soon. Both Higuchi and Tsuyuko ended up getting sick, but it was Higuchi who took care of both of them since her father and stepmother were in the hospital for a few days because of some complications. Higuchi was around 12/13, and Tsuyuko was 10/11 when it happened.

Around a month later, Higuchi told her biological mother about it, who then complained about it to Mori and also asked him if he could make arrangements to take care of both Higuchi sisters since, after the divorce and losing custody of her children, Higuchi's mother started working as a pilot so she couldn't take care of her kids. Which Mori did, so he one day appeared at the Higuchi household and manipulated both Higuchi's father and stepmother to let Higuchi and Tsuyuko stay with him in Yokohama.

After that, both Higuchi sisters were given an apartment to live in, and Mori also assigned the then Funeral Director of the Port Mafia to look after them, which led to Higuchi also learning mortuary stuff from the Funeral Director during her free time until she was 16 when a grease fire/explosion in the funeral home left her as the only survivor.

And then, when Higuchi was 16/17, she straight up asked Mori if she could join the Mafia as one of the morticians. Mori refused at first but eventually agreed after a lot of back and forth on the condition that she could work as a Port Mafia mortician for as long as she wanted unless Higuchi's grade in school started to drop. (This man is way too easily swayed by Higuchi since she is his best friend's daughter.) Being a Port Mafia mortician somehow ended up with Higuchi becoming the (unofficial) Funeral Director, a Commander and Mori's secret left hand in the span of 2/3 years. (Mori is somehow wondering how Higuchi got to that point, and is stressed cause he knows if Higuchi's mom found out, his ass is finna get thrown.)

Higuchi and Tsuyuko have almost no contact with their father and stepmother, but they still talk with their mom when she calls. (Mori gets interrogated by his best friend about her kids on a bi-monthly basis. She also terrorises him about himself because she still sees Mori as the walking emotional disaster from all those years ago.)
