As a team you work to get a meal done, sharing plenty of kisses in between and noting that the other looks far better than any dish you could ever cook.

In the end, depending on your skills, you either have a five star meal, something just about edible, or a weapon to poison your enemies with. All that matters is that you both had fun and hopefully the kitchen is still standing and has not burned down.

The problem I have with proshippers comes from my perspective as a victim of pedophilia and grooming.

Whatever you do in bed with your partners is no concern to most if all parties are willing. The issue is when you actively glorify it.

There's a community of "real life yanderes" on tumblr. It's ok to be jealous or afraid of abandonment, that's something you can talk about. But it gives you no right to threaten or stalk real people.

There are people who write fanfiction about sexual abuse as something hot or attractive, and it's seen even more evidently in the comments. It is not hot or attractive, and if you genuinely wish to get sexually abused then you'd have no right to complain about the trauma it would inflict on you.

For my next point I want to make it clear that I take yumeahipping incredibly seriously, I see Ryley as my partner and other yumes see their f/os as their partners.

So it's self explanatory why a lot of us are disgusted when we see adult yumes selfshipping with literal children.

A lot of the time engaging in proship spaces can be uncomfortable to victims of pedophilia, sexual abuse, or incest. It can feel like a mockery of our trauma and trigger unpleasant memories or emotions.

If you want to do a roleplay with your partner, pop off, but don't romanticise real abuse.

Don't fucking treat that shit like it's normal.

❥ Reminder: Expressing your feelings and communicating can be pretty damn hard sometimes, and very much so for neurodiverse individuals, especially with a feeling so amazingly profound as love. I really hope you know that if you’re not the best with romantic words, or physical intimacy, etc… Your f/o is understanding of that, because you’ll always be enough to them! Your f/o can definitely, without a doubt, tell how much you love and adore them!
