"If I didn't know how to handle you I wouldn't have called for you." She said. "You think you're very clever, which I have to admit is true, but it's made you think you're unbreakable while it's really not the case." The fact that he had information about her that a very small number of enemies - who are no longer a threat - knew did make her extremely uncomfortable, but she didn't doubt her skills to aid her if he ever used them against her. She knew his pressure points as well. "The mere fact that you attempt to threaten me with the same technique every time shows how limited and boring your ways are." 

While her stomach twitched, Natasha made sure her face and expressions were unread or very boring. Sadly, she is a human after all and that always seemed to come in the way. "Actually no, no remorse at all. I've ended people's lives, I can live with causing some misery." It was time to stay on top of things. "But hey, aren't you a great parent? Bringing up children in a dangerous place run by people who will eventually take them away no matter what you do. Now don't you feel remorse?"

An Interrogation | Natasha & Loki

Loki shifted. Best not to let her know he had his magic back. He folded one leg over the other, hiding away the ankle that should be bound. “You’ve still allowed me use of words. That should worry you,” he said. “I am not as vulnerable as I seem. But you know all about that, don’t you, Agent Romanoff.” He still had everything that Hawkeye had told him about her. He could use it against her.

"And yes, I conjured myself up some babies, and now you’ve stolen me away from them, in chains. They’ll be confused, crying for me." He smirked. "Doesn’t that make you feel remorse? You’ve made poor little babies sad."

I never thought I was going to say this, but I miss my cell… When can I leave the infirmary?

"Or what?" She said with a sarcastic smile. "There's not much you can do from your position can you?" She let out a loud sigh.

"Piece of advice." She said leaning a bit forward. "Don't attempt to threaten when you're already so vulnerable." 

Natasha wasn't kind or sympathetic, and certainly not with him. She was ready to be terribly cruel but she'd save it for when she needed to most.

"I can see you've made yourself some babies." She said. "You should be so glad they let you keep them with you. Or at all."

An Interrogation | Natasha & Loki

Loki was woken in his room by the cries of his children, which he quickly rose to calm. The cause of the cries, it transpired, was the door slamming open and his room being invaded by two huge guards. They, thankfully, waited until Loki had calmed the twins into sleeping again (with the help of some of his forbidden magic) and then turned to the men,

"What is the meaning of this?"

"Get dressed," they only said. "You are coming with us."

They offered no further explanation so Loki was forced to quickly dress himself. He struggled as they cuffed him, annoyed that they were going to such lengths, but when they threatened the muzzle he went still and allowed them to march him to the interrogation room.

He was forced into the chair across from Black Widow, still struggling in irritation. “There had better be good reason for this.”

An Interrogation | Natasha & Loki

She didn't really understand why she was doing this now. Besides, it's been months after the battle of New York, but she was eager to see what she could extract from him after spending such a long period in the cell. Last time, she was successful to bring out very useful information out of him and she couldn't deny that she was curious to see if the pressure of his circumstances had affected him at all. Was he easier to break? Or was he more determined?

Natasha was sitting in a small - but strong - interrogation room. The table and the two chairs facing each other were made of metal and were designed to be stuck to the ground. The occasional emergency button was stuck on her side of the table and only she could see it, but she didn't sense she'd need it.

She had her arms folded while she sat watching the door open with two guards entering with their hands on Loki's shoulders and handcuffed hands quite forcefully. As if that was enough. She reminded herself as he was seated down that her previous successful attempt with him meant nothing, but it certainly labeled him "breakable" somewhere in her spy-mind whether she helped it or not.

"This one actually doesn’t involve killing, too. I’d jump at the chance."
