If an INTJ confesses in you and asks for your opinions and guidance but still doesnt label you as a friend or hesitate to do so, what does it mean? From an INFJ. Thanks
Hmm. That's an interesting situation because for me personally, the idea of confessing to, confiding in, and requesting an opinion and/or guidance is something that makes me very vulnerable. A feeling I dislike greatly unless in the company of someone I trust and care for dearly. Even then, I don't like it. More that I allow it as a show of that trust.
So to have an INTJ do this but not consider you a friend, or have reservations concerning you being one is peculiar.
Perhaps it is a test? I am giving you this little part of myself, what will you do with it? Will you care for it and see how much it matters? Or will you treat it flippantly thus giving me proof to burn a bridge? Maybe, maybe not.
Or maybe they do consider you a friend deep down but haven't acknowledged it mentally yet. Perhaps they are leery of friendships. Maybe they don't have the same reservations as I do concerning vulnerabilities and don't mind laying themselves out in order to gain more knowledge of a situation.
Lot's of reasons but none I could say for sure.

I don't know if it's confirmation bias on my part, but is it typical for ENFPs and INTJs to be attracted to one another? I see a lot of text posts pairing them off.
I wouldn't consider anything concerning relationships "typical" for the sole reason that, in being human, the variables are endless. I would however consider INTJxENFP relationships to be a stereotype. Accurate sometimes -even frequently- but not necessarily the be-all-end-all holy grail of INTJ partnership it's often portrayed as.
A healthy, functioning relationship between any type is just as valid.
However... I think this combination is frequently used because our cognitive functions line up so well making it easier to allow for relationship possibilities.
INTJs being Ni, Te, Fi, Se and ENFP Ne, Fi, Te, Si
Intuition being both of our main functions with ENFPs being in the moment, how does this apply now, kind of thinking and INTJs, what got us to this point and how do the things around apply to the future. A good mix provided you're willing to listen and take what the other says as valid.
And then with ENFPs having feeling as their second function - the same way of feeling that INTJs have- it allows for... tempering. Same with INTJs and their thinking being second. They both have the same type of reasoning and the same mode of feeling. It allows for... seamless melding? For lack of better words.
And I'm going to completely skip over sensing because I am really bad at that bit. Like... stereotypically but worst bad and I don't even know how it would apply. 😂
But yes, generally those are the behind the scenes reasons in my opinion that INTJs and ENFPs are often paired together.

Being an INTJ is experiencing emotions deeply but being unable to define them with the detail we so crave. Thus a good majority of them get tossed into the "to be sorted later file" and accidentally forgotten. So it's not that we don't experience them, more that in underdeveloped Fe scenarios, we just don't know how to process them well.

Being an INTJ is not being able do feelings well, but wanting to do them right...
Therefore you always have a bottle of eye drops on you should the occasion arise in which crying would be the correct emotional response. Just a quick trip to the backroom, drop drop, BOOM.
Proper emotional response.
Nailed it...

Hello, concerning your dosage problem, you are correct, but using dimensional analysis would simplify the problem. The goal is to convert from cc/gal to tsp/gal using two conversions, so I would arrange it as follows: Dose = (3 cc/gal) * (20 drops/cc) * (1 tsp/100 drops) = 0.6 tsp/gal. Then, since you want 5 gal: 0.6 tsp/gal * 5 gal = 3 tsp.
Ah, thank you!

Need Some Help
Yeah, yeah, I know. But you all are smart and I keep second guessing the medication dosage for my chicken's.
Is someone able to check if I'm correct?
--
1 dose = 3cc per gallon
1 cc = 20 drops
100 drops = 1 tsp
--
5 doses = 15 cc
15 cc = 300 drops
300 drops = 3 tsp in 5 gallons of water

Me: *without looking up from book* Nope. It's 23,971.
Sibling: I hate how you aren't even a part of this conversation but you still feel the need to correct my math.
