REGRESSED TENNA!!! I knew he was a regressor the moment I saw him in game the first time I think he’s just so darling and I need him to be safe and comfortable just for a little bit. I also think the people closest to him help when he gets really small like a whole group of CGs… I mean he is a very big baby isn’t he?

I have! many thoughts about Spamton!!

During his Big Shot era:

Spamton first hears about the concept of age regression during a night out drinking with Tenna, who inadvertently lets slip that he is a regressor. Spamton goads him into explaining what it is, and, loosened up by alcohol, Tenna gives him the basics.

The next morning, Spamon is too hungover to remember anything other than vague snippets of their conversation, and the subject is never brought up again.

Until.

Tenna ends up regressing involuntarily due to the stress of a show that didn't go as swimmingly as he would have liked, and Spamton finds himself responsible for taking care of him.

At first, the situation he is faced with admittedly makes him panick. Although he has witnessed many of his partner's tantrums, this one seems… different, somehow.

Tenna isn't yelling at his employees, or kicking and throwing objects, or baring his fangs and growing to fill the entire room.

Instead, he's sitting in a corner, smaller than Spamton has ever seen him, rocking back and forth, sobbing inconsolably.

Spamton is at a loss as to what to do, until he suddenly remembers the conversation they had some time ago about Tenna being a little, and everything clicks. He starts talking to him in a softer voice, offers to help him put on more comfortable clothes, puts him to bed, and just having someone take care of him helps Tenna calm down almost instantly.

After that, it kind of becomes part of their routine. Whenever Tenna needs to relax and get back into a more youthful state of mind, Spamton is there to take care of him. And he'll never admit it out loud, but he kind of likes being Tenna's caregiver.

Post Big Shot era:

After the massive physical alterations Spamton undergoes, he finds refuge in age regression. It's not even something he's conscious of doing; he just curls up into a ball, hidden from the world, desperately seeking some comfort, and cries himself to sleep on most nights.

At some point, he finds a TV Time poster featuring Tenna, and he becomes really attached to it. At nights, when he can't fall asleep, he hugs it tight, reminiscing the times where he was able to hold and be held by him.

It brings him a bit of comfort for a while, until it becomes too worn out and he has to throw it away :(

Overall, whenever he regresses, he feels lost, confused, frightened, and terribly lonely.

After reconnecting with Tenna (this is canon trust me /j):

Now that they have found each other again, Spamton and Tenna are both reluctant to be apart, and mutually agree to share a bed, after they notice that this significantly reduces the number of nightmares they both have.

It is during one of these nights that Tenna finds out —after comforting Spamton through panic attack after a bad dream— that he regresses too.

Spamton goes back to being Tennas caregiver occasionally, although nowadays it's mostly the Mikes job.

Sometimes, it's Tenna taking care of him! Although Spamton denies needing it (he does).

They sometimes both regress together, and will have cuddle sessions where they will end up napping together :3

regressor spamton who relives his trauma even when regressed because age regression isn't always pretty. he has a toy phone he's too attached to and tenna needs to calmly redirect him away from it because it always ends in tears and meltdowns whenever he's playing with it. holding onto a beaten up and abandoned plushie for dear life when he's still living in the dumpster, pretending it's tenna, one of the addisons, anyone. he heals and recovers with time, sure, but the road to recovery isn't ever pretty.

Deltarune has been one of my hyperfixations recently. I watched a let's play of Deltarune chapter 3 and 4 (the game just looks like it would be kind of difficult for me ;w;) and Tenna became an instant comfort character!

He's a super clingy cg!

If you've ever used a CRT TV before, you know that sound the TV makes while it's on (it's hard to explain if you haven't heard it before)? I imagine Tenna probably makes that sound. It kind of becomes a comforting thing, because when you hear it, you know he's nearby!

The warmth from a CRT TV... Tenna being surprisingly, and comfortably warm when you hug him.

He's very knowledgeable about what movies, cartoons, and other shows you like. If he sees you're down, he'll put on one of your favorite shows.

He loves listening to you ramble about your favorite things. He could listen to you infodump all day. He might even start to incorporate some of the trivia you've taught him into the quiz segments of his show.

He's super high energy and silly! He acts super over the top to cheer you up whenever you're sad. And he just loves making you laugh in general!

Because of how big he is, he can easily carry you around. Or he can put you on his shoulders and give you a piggyback ride!

He's set up a play area for you in the Green Room so you can play there while he's doing his show! He probably has one of the Zappers babysit you while he's busy.

He's really good at playing pretend! He gets super into whatever his role is in the game you're playing due to his improv skills.

Yes! Tenna's staff are very attentive to make sure baby TV is relaxed between shows because hes definitely a drama queen and very moody when he doesn't get his way or feels like he did a bad job

The Mikes definitely do the hefting of the more involved caregiving, especially for a very little Tenna, but everyone steps in when needed
