There's a lot of thoughts and feelings i have, but I'll simplify it to these few things.

Number 1: I want to congratulate all the Republicans and republican supporters. I may not like it but it seems very likely your candidate will win and I would rather take accept our loss with my head held high than throw a fit over something i can't change.

Number 2: To my fellow democrats I'm sorry this happened, it sucks, but we can at least find comfort in each other. It's okay to cry, it's okay to scream, and it's okay to make jokes about it. Whatever helps you feel better. Just DO NOT threaten or hurt others. We can at least pride ourselves on being better and being the bigger person.

And number 3: I know the future is going to be terrifying, a lot of us (myself included) are so scared about things to come. But as of right now, it's important to remember that as long as we stick together, as long as we work together we can STILL make a change. Election night isn't the only chance we have to make a difference, as long as we let our voice be heard, as long as we stand by our views and our fellow Americans we can still prevent certain things from happening. And, if we can't and things get bad, we can find hope in each other. We must stick together, through thick and thin.

Oh, and also, from now on try to make the most of each day. Do things that will bring you joy and/or are productive. No matter what side you are on I'm positive all of us are physically, mentally, and emotionally drained. It's okay to take a break for your own sanity. Thank you and goodnight.

I got a new drawing tablet and after playing around with Medibang for a bit I made a drawing of one of the main characters from a story I've been working on.

For starters, I wanna talk about the tablet. I got a SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S6 Lite with a drawing pen. While it's not a professional drawing tablet by any means it's still LEAGUES above just drawing on my phone with my finger. The pen pressure is amazing, I sometimes found myself just messing around with it to see how thin and heavy I could make my lines with a single stroke. I tried to use ibisPaint but for some reason it wasn't working properly and after 3 hours of trying i just decided, for the time, to use Medibang. I got the table on sale a few weeks ago but i still consider it a good buy!

As for the character, I'm not going to go into too much detail because I would have to explain things like the world and other characters. But this is Betsy. She's from my story Love, Clara. She's a Witch with a bit of Harpy in her. The story takes place in the modern era with monsters instead of humans (witches being the most humanoid). She's technically the main character but only really for the first part of the story. She's struggling with money while trying to raise her 15-year-old son and has two jobs. One of those jobs is as a nightclub singer. One day her agent and best friend get her a role in a big musical that's an adaptation of a popular book. Love, Clara. She plays the main character, Clara. However, despite this insane opportunity she soon realizes her costar and on-stage love interest is being played by her Ex Fiancée. Vivian. Who is now, years after their split, a famous rich actress and model. Betsy's not my favorite character personally. I do love her there are just others that I want to explore more. But I figured out who best to draw first then the first main character!

INTRODUCTION

Hi, welcome to my blog! This is my first social media account (I know, I'm so lame lol) so I'm still figuring my stuff out. I'm mainly using this as a motivator to do more arts and crafts. I'm trying to post at least one thing a week whether it's a drawing, something I've crocheted, ideas for my stories and characters, etc. I'm also using it to draw more fanart since I haven't done so in a VERY long time.
