welcome back
to quote fetty wap, "hey, what's up, hello" so guess what! I did not manage to work on ANYTHING on this blog after i started it ahahahahah im not good at being consistent did you know that yeah keep that in ur mind
but it is a-ok. why? SUUMMER
i've decided to kind of redirect this blog from being serious to me attempting to the art of expressing how i feel about certain issues and give more context to it
i.e right now one of these issues is how life is WRECKING me and summer is BORING
but its okay.... to be expressed later...

There’s a word in Armenian — արևահամ (arevaham) — that has no direct equivalent in English, yet it carries the warmth of an entire season, both in nature and in one's life.
It’s made of two roots: արև (arev), meaning "sun", and համ (ham), meaning "taste" or "flavor". Together, they form a word that means "sun-flavored", but it’s much more than that. It's a poetic way of describing something that’s been touched, ripened, or enriched by the sun, and carries "the taste", the warmth of the sun within itself.
As Charents wrote: "I love the sun-flavored (arevaham) word of my sweet Armenia."
Alongside արևահամ (“sun-flavored”), we have another luminous word: արևաբույր (arevabuyr). It means “sun-scented”. It is warmth made fragrant. Light made tender and almost tangible.
As Gurgen Mahari wrote: "The fresh morning air, sun-scented (arevabuyr) and rain-flavored, filled my heart with joyful longing."

welcome to the small big things
so, i remember this week i was at work talking to the teacher I assist and he told me "maria, I feel like if you grew up during the time I did (FYI he means the mid-2010s) you'd totally thrive off a blog" I said girl u r SO right! This is the debut of my fun little blog!!!
i want to talk about all of the small things, you know? All these tiny, minuscule things that we complain about with our friends but in the end don't do anything about because we know it leads to something bigger that us "regular" civilians "can't really do much about". I want to conquer this idea and look at how these issues DO reflect onto us and even (just maybe) figure how to contribute against the impossible.
lately as a student, I've frequently been roaming the subject low-quality conditions of public schools in the tdsb (toronto school board)... so I guess that's my next post!!!!
