I'd also like to mention that like. They DID a live action of it before this??? And it was GOOD??? Like. If you look up the Live Spectacular of HTTYD, it was so COOL. It was like- theatre and animatronics and pyrotechnics and all this stuff put together, and they tried so hard to keep close to the actual look of the dragons- WHICH FOR IT WERE ANIMATRONICS BEING CONTROLLED LIVE

It was so amazing and well done and holding true to the original while technically being live action, but like- it was also clunky in an endearing way because it was animatronics being controlled live, you know? You could see some of the mechanical parts, you could see the wires, all that stuff but it was just like- clearly holding true to the original while also being a different experience in an amazing way-

Anyways sorry for the rant I just- hnghhh

the thing people don't understand about HTTYD is that a lot of the dragons are deliberately and charmingly ugly. they have a very important Je Ne Sais Quoi grunge to them. this is a core feature of the series, something directly taken from the original cressida cowell books, and something is fundamentally lost when you try and reduce them to generic giant lizards. and you can Tell when the film and show designers don't understand this. you can absolutely Tell.

Hey everyone, I know it's going to be a busy day for a lot of people, but Google enrolled everyone over 18 into their AI program automatically.

If you have a google account, first go to gemini.google.com/extensions and turn everything off.

Then you need to go to myactivity.google.com/product/gemini and turn off all Gemini activity tracking. You do have to do them in that order to make sure it works.

Honestly, I'm not sure how long this will last, but this should keep Gemini off your projects for a bit.
