About the Salieri family

Hi, it's been a while since I've posted anything here. Today I am here to comment on a couple of things that I found interesting and other pieces of information that clash with each other.

In this family tree¹ we can see a that is very accurate to the information we get in the book Antonio Salieri and the Viennese opera by John A. Rice. The number of half-siblings, the year of death of the parents, the existence of two Francesco Antonio (you have to have some balls to call your two children the same and they are only four years apart and both alive💀).

But there's a couple of things that call my attention.

Let's start with dates. In the family tree¹ we can see some things about the mother that clash with other papers/webs. In here it's said that she was born in 1718 while in thos web about family trees² is said she was born in 1722, so instead of dying at the age of 45 she is dies at 41.

Still talking about the mother, in the family tree¹ she is said that she died the 3rd of February while in this document about Francesco Salieri⁴ she dies the 23th of the same month.

Now, we move to the topic of the Francescos.

In the family tree¹ is said that the 1st Francesco Antonio got married to a girl named Barbara Damichetti and had a son called Vinzenzo. This is pretty similar to the 2nd Francesco since he married a girl named Barbara Giulia Danieletti and had a son named Antonio Vinzenzo as we can see in the paper about Francesco Salieri⁴ and the one about Girolamo Salieri³.

This seems to be just a coincidence, but it's rather funny.

Still talking about the 2nd Francesco. In the family tree¹ is said that he is a monk but in the book Antonio Salieri and the Viennese opera is hinted that Francesco isn't the brother who is a monk and in the paper about Francesco Salieri⁴ is said that Pietro is the monk.

Conclusion: since none of this papers (except for Rice's book) is 100% believable I won't say that one thing is correct or the other is more valid. To the exception of the family trees web² that it didn't seem to be the most accurate.

Note: Have you noticed how ironic is that Antonio Salieri does just have one sister (not counting his half-siblings) and the rest are brothers but he had everything daughters except for a son. (If we take into account that this family tree¹ is real)
