A new major milestone for the project as a while ago we've been joined by a talented artist @Weel | Face Sculptor who specializes in facial modelling. We havent been blind to the fact that Skyrims faces being lacking in quality as a 14-year-old game. After months of work we can see the first fruits of his labor, behold the face of Ecatarina the Wise and Serena as per his redesign. These come out in close collaboration with another talented artist @nor who specializes in outfit modelling, who managed to produce vital outfits or upgrades to existing ones to enhence the facial improvements. Within the frame of realistic timescale and labor for the 2026 premiere, those two magnificent artists can only produce a small number of redesigns, therefore their work and such level of character detail will focus on core characters only, unless circumstances of time and resource allow more. We now have means to ascend above the "plastic Skyrim faces".

Gentle reminder about Ukraine 🕊️
The war in Ukraine did NOT start in 2022, that was merely an escalation into a full-scale invasion. It began in 2014 when Russia annexed Crimea and their green little men invaded Donetsk and Luhansk in Eastern Ukraine (which they have been incapable of fully conquering to this day). The war has been ongoing for 11 years now.
The Baltic countries were practically SCREAMING a warning at everybody's faces about what was about to come, but Western leaders chose to do nothing about the situation during this time and instead continued to shake hands with Russia for economic reasons (e.g. Nord Stream 2). Apparently, the Baltics were "too paranoid".
Trump has boasted that he would end the war in 1 day, then in 50 days, etc. He was elected President of the United States of America from 2016-2020 (with the help of Russian influence), when the war was already ongoing. He had 4 years to do something. He didn't. (Except for licking Putin's boots during these 8 months in power starting from 2025.)
Trump has promised multiple times that he would harden sanctions against Russia if they don't stop bombing Ukraine. He hasn't. Russia is still bombing Ukraine. If anything, the pressure is always put on Ukraine and Russia always manages to get a free pass. Putin is stalling to keep the war going (in hopes that the West will get tired of supporting Ukraine and they are ultimately forced to surrender) and Trump is falling for it every single time. But we will not tire.
Trump rolled out the red carpet and welcomed the dictator (Putin) of the country that is solely responsible for committing these heinous war crimes with an applause. He attacked, threatened and accused the leader (Zelenskyy) of the country who is the victim in this war (in case it wasn't clear: Ukraine) that THEY are the ones "gambling with World War III". Disgusting.
Ukraine hasn't been able to win this war because WE aren't doing enough. By 'we' I mean Western Europe and the United States of America, who have NOT given Ukraine enough weapons and ammunition since day 1 that would give them the upper hand against Russia. In turn, Russia isn't losing this war because WE haven't put enough pressure on them that would force them to give up.
Germany is all weapons, but indecisive about handing them over to Ukraine. France is all talk, no weapons. At least half of America is OK with being in cahoots with Russia, saying that "we don't care about Ukraine" and withdrawing (or completely halting) military aid whenever they feel like it. Also, these countries have jumped at the opportunity to defend Israel's airspace (who is NOT a NATO member either and is now evidently committing genocide against the Palestinian people out of pure revenge by hiding behind the 'we are only defending ourselves' argument), but are afraid to close up Ukraine's airspace to defend their civilians and infrastructure. Western Europe and the United States of America are duplicitous cowards.
The leaders of Western European countries (I'm pointing a finger at.. let's say Germany, France, Italy and Spain) have chosen the welfare of their own people over aiding Ukraine. They have failed to communicate to their people why it is necessary to help Ukraine NOW, and instead, they are trying to ensure the support of their voters by maintaining a "normal everyday life" without raising taxes or spending more on defence or doing anything that would upset the electorate. This is a deliberate, political decision that is ultimately failing Ukraine. (Meanwhile, Estonia has become the country with the highest inflation in the European Union, the people's resentment towards the government and overall frustration grows day by day, but at least we understand WHY we must suffer and still do all of these things.)
President Joe Biden and the Democrats withheld Ukrainian aid for MONTHS prior to the elections in 2024 because they were scared of losing votes. They lost anyway. This was also a deliberate, political decision that cost Ukraine valuable time and countless lives.
When talking about ceasefire or a solution, Russia keeps referring to the fact that the root causes of this war must be eliminated in order for "peace" to prevail. One of the root causes being that the former Soviet Union member states in Eastern Europe should leave NATO and be united to the Russian Federation again. We NEVER wanted to join the Soviet Union during World War II, our region was divided into zones of interest by the secret Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact in 1939 and we were taken BY FORCE by the Russians. Russia has NEVER had to pay any reparations nor apologized for this occupation because they were seen as "the good guys who helped defeat Nazi Germany" by the West. We were forgotten for almost 50 years.
Russia will NOT stop in Ukraine if we let them win this war. Any Eastern European country could be their next target (including NATO members). The only thing they respond to is FORCE.
Eastern Europe (including Scandinavia, the Baltics and countries with a border running alongside Russia or Belarus) are the biggest supporters of Ukraine (both militarily and financially) because we KNOW what it is like to live under that oppressive regime and that this sh*t will come our way if we don't help Ukraine stop Russia right now.
Fuck Putin (& his Russia). Fuck Trump (& his America).
Happy (belated) Independence Day, Ukraine! 🇺🇦 🌻

Hey Americans! If you buy things from overseas, as of August 22 you probably don’t anymore.
Most foreign postal services have paused shipping of packages under $800 to the USA. You will hear that it’s “because of tariffs,” but that’s not exactly true.
It’s because the US:
Has not given anyone a way to pay those tariffs and
Has not been clear on what will ACTUALLY have to be paid. (The country’s tariff has been floated, but a US$80 flat fee has also been floated.
Many countries require people to pay tariffs when they receive a package. That’s fine. But you have to give people a way to pay the damn tariff. And there isn’t a way to do so. Apparently there isn’t even a PLAN for a way to do so.
So: if you have been buying from Etsy or eBay or a little shop overseas, if you subscribe to a foreign magazine, if you are an immigrant and you buy food from home via mail, now you will need to fly there and bring it home. Of course, the people who can afford that are also the ones responsible for this dumb policy.

You know something interesting is happening when this blog makes positive posts about Iowa two days in a row.
In a special election to fill a vacancy on Tuesday, Democrats flipped an Iowa State Senate seat to break a Republican supermajority in that chamber.
Iowa Republicans’ supermajority in the state Senate was broken Tuesday as Democrat Catelin Drey won the special election for Iowa Senate District 1. Drey faced off against Republican Christopher Prosch in the election, which was called to fill the seat after Sen. Rocky De Witt, R-Lawton, passed away due to pancreatic cancer in June. According to preliminary results, Drey, a 37-year-old from Sioux City, won the election by 55% to Prosch’s 44%, according to unofficial results published by the Woodbury County Auditor’s Office. Iowa Democrats celebrated Drey’s victory, saying the Tuesday results — alongside results from other special elections this year — mark a turning point for the state party following several election cycles of overwhelming GOP victories.
In special legislative elections in Iowa this year, Dems have significantly improved their percentages over 2024.
Another Iowa Senate seat was flipped from Republican to Democrat in January, when Sen. Mike Zimmer, D-DeWitt, defeated Republican Katie Whittington in the special election to replace Lt. Gov. Chris Cournoyer as she joined Gov. Kim Reynolds’ administration in December 2024. In the Iowa House, Rep. Angelina Ramirez, D-Cedar Rapids, won a special election in April for a seat held by Democrat Rep. Sami Scheetz when he resigned to serve on the Linn County Board of Supervisors. Rep. Blaine Watkins, R-Donnellson, is the only Republican to win an Iowa special election in 2025, but Democrats pointed to his tight margin of victory as a positive sign for future elections.
If you prefer charts and tables, this one from The Downballot shows the electoral direction of Iowa this year.

Iowa Senate District 1 was carried by Trump with 55% of the vote in November. On Tuesday, Democrat Catelin Drey won that seat with 55% of the vote.
MEANWHILE IN GEORGIA...
There was also a special legislative election in Georgia on Tuesday.
Democrat heads to runoff in Georgia state Senate race with two Republicans competing for second
The lone Democrat in a seven-way race has advanced to a runoff in a special election that will decide who will replace former Alpharetta Republican state Sen. Brandon Beach, but the top GOP candidates in the contest were still battling it out for second place late Tuesday night. Democrat Debra Shigley had a strong showing Tuesday night, racking up about 40% of the vote. Republicans Jason Dickerson and Steve West were still neck and neck for second place Tuesday night, earning 17.4% and 17.1% of the vote, respectively. Dickerson held a narrow 65-vote edge over West.  [ ... ] Shigley’s advancement to the runoff was seen as a success for Democrats, who are seeking to flip the deep-red district. Shigley gained nearly 10 points over Lillia Michelle Lionel, who challenged Beach last year.
As with many Southern states, Georgia has a runoff system. If no candidate gets 50% + 1 vote then the top two candidates head to a runoff. So Debra Shigley still has to face either Jason Dickerson or Steve West in a deep red district.

Regardless of the outcome in the September 23rd runoff, the numbers already show a shift away from the MAGA GOP.
With Trump having nonstop authoritarian temper tantrums in Washington, what goes on in our state legislatures has become more crucial. We need more Democratic lawmakers sitting in our state capitols.
YOU can make a difference by volunteering to help Democratic candidates in your districts or nearby districts in your state. Virginia and New Jersey are having legislative elections in just over two months. Most other states will have them next year. Contact your county or state Democratic Party and let them know that you want to help elect more Dem legislators.
And if you're qualified in your state, consider running for legislature against some slobbering MAGA Republican incumbent.
Not sure who represents you in your legislature? We've got you covered...
Find Your Legislators Look your legislators up by address or use your current location.
Get your anti-MAGA friends and family members to look up their legislators as well.

Another rainy art. The dictator came to evaluate his state project (some newly built aero-ship), but the rain spoiled his stay, he will have to wait under the canopy until the workers get everything ready.
Argader is a rainy country in itself, but important arirals do not want to stand under it waiting for the event to be ready)
