Setting: Celestial City

Celestial City— named after the Order of Superheroes that founded it— is rife with all walks of life; from the little bakery down on fifth to the shopping district that could put Rodeo Drive to shame.

Though nothing could ever stand against the HQ of the Celestial’s— the sleek building towering into the sky as a warning to all those that wished to do the city harm; powered and unpowered alike.

It was your dream to one day walk the halls of that very building; not as a teammate, you didn’t have any powers to speak of, but a member of the journalists that get to be part of history— documenting the Celestial’s and integrating into the team. A dream that few would ever get to actually live out, but one could hope.

For now, however, you were more than content with being a cub reporter at the biggest media conglomerate within Celestial City— Priestly Industries.

You just never expected what your newest assignment would bring you.

Play as an MC that’s just been given the biggest story of their life! Interviewing the biggest name in all of Celestial City— Tempest; the hero, and face, of the Celestial’s.

A disgruntled employee of the CCPD that detests dealing with superheroes and all that they come with— unfortunately that memo doesn’t pass on to said individuals as they’re commonly the person that gets the most attention from the caped crusaders. It’s exactly for that reason that you ask for their help in your investigation— ignoring their grumpy attitude for the pursuit of the truth. Will you be able to see past their prickly exterior?

Could you tell us in more detail about this power? and how skilled is MC?

It’s mainly what it is at face value— the MC can read thoughts, feel peoples emotions, and briefly see through someone else’s mind. At the full height of their power they could take control of another human being, but they’re not at that stage anymore (it takes a lot out of you).

Because of this connection with your own mind, you’re dreams are always lucid which can either be a good thing or horribly bad. It’s also how The Voice was able to infiltrate your mind to begin with— even if you have shields around your brain, you’re still susceptible to things like that (mainly because of how powerful The Voice is).

The MC is fairly skilled, but there are things barring you from what you used to be. Like The Voice and the memories of your past.

There are many plans in place with The Voice— the MC can romance them if you’re going down the Path of Redemption… it’ll just have a much different ending (and scenes) than on the Path of Corruption.

As of right now it’s telepathy— I think it would allow for fun dynamic between how The Voice chose the MC.

That’s not something I’ve thought of— meaning planned out— but it’s definitely a possibility. One that I think The Voice would find beneficial to their plans.

Can The Voice take over control over MC’s body? When you said they “convinced” MC to do what they did what did you mean?

The Voice has the capability of doing so but wouldn’t. As they want you to come to your own conclusions— with help from them— but it means that you did those things. You just had help doing them.

As for what that actually entails? You’ll have to see within the game.

The Voice is always there just latent. Only if the MC is doing something that calls their attention will they come out and speak to you. However, you won’t actively see them unless you’re asleep (in that way it’ll be like a visit).

It was the ticking of the clock that pissed you off most of all; not the cherry oak coffee table that housed your least favorite candy or the cheerful yellow that sporadically appeared throughout the room. It was the old clock— situated somewhere to your right— that truly drove you mad. It showed you, even without you looking at it, how much time has passed and how much of it you were wasting.

How much was slipping through your fingers already by simply sitting here in silence.

“Are you going to talk today, ${title} ${lastname}?” The question was posed by the woman sitting before you— Doctor Sylvia Harris; her olive toned hand holding her pen loftily in the air— as dark green eyes bore into your own. “Or are we going to pass the time like the last four sessions?”

The ticking of the clock once again sounds throughout the room; almost ominous in the way it had punctuated the ending of her question.

“The choice, of course, is yours to make.” Her pen clicks as she poised it over her notebook; compassionate eyes trained on your face as she does so. “I won’t rush you. Everyone opens up at their own pace.”

13. What does their handwriting look like?

Lucian/Lucia:

Smooth cursive with delicate lines and loops. It’s clearly handled with great care and holds the ease of someone that’s done it for quite some time.

Isaac/Isabella:

Simple print has never failed them so they’re not about to abandon it. Their cursive is absolutely abysmal, which is another reason they mainly stick to cursive.

Kieran/Kiera:

An almost air-like quality can be attributed to their writing. They rarely put that much pressure onto their pen or pencil while scrawling out their signature in elegant script; giving it a unique quality.

Harry/Harley:

Their handwriting could be neat— in theory— but they rarely pay attention to what they’re doing. So, there’s many lines intersecting one another to form into their name.

The Voice:

Precise and elegant. Just as they wish it to be.

25. Are they a clean/tidy person?

Lucian/Lucia: More often than not. They’re not over the top with it but they do want cleanliness within their home.

Isaac/Isabella: Not really but they try their best not to have it affect other people. Unless they honestly don’t remember where they put something or that they made a mess somewhere.

Kieran/Kiera: They may have a chaotic personality but that does not mean they wish to have a chaotic mess where they live (or anywhere for that matter); they do have standards after all.

Harry/Harley: When it’s a communal area, yes, they absolutely are tidy. However, their own bedroom? Or a space that is mainly theirs? Not so much.

The Voice: Yes. They believe it’s important to be tidy. Even if it’s just to know where you left something.
