Consider A crossover of No Straight Roads and Slime Rancher.

Bunk Bed Junction must build up their Rockstar Ranch to face off against the various Megastar Ranchers across the Far Far Lands.

Akin to Vanilla game trade partners, The Megastars each have their own unique Slimes, and once beaten, they can become your trade partner(s), each with a personal quest.

Beating the Megastars also unlocks more new areas.

To mix things up a bit, next to building up BBJ’s Ranch, the Qwazas still serve the same purpose as Vanilla NSR, cos stuff needs power both on ranch and across whatever set of islands this would be set on.

Dew Slimes

“Located in the Secret Corner Woods, the Dew Slime resides on the dew produced by local water mixing with the nectar resin from the nearby trees.”

“The Dew Plorts are valued for being a natural and healthier sweetener for carbonated drinks.”

Imagine the possibilities.

Especially since you farm Slimes in both!

The Tickle Slime

“The Slime Rancher’s Companion, the Tickle Slime is a rare Slime that’ll follow Ranchers and alert them to dangers. This can include other Slimes, and even the Chickadoos. The original Tickle Slime was found in what appeared to be an abandoned research facility. Nobody can seem to identify just who had been conducting research on the Far Far Range, nor where they went…”

“No natural food on the Far Far Range is the favorite of the Tickle Slime, it will eat veggies and fruits reluctantly and never any meat, but it does favor the famous and galaxy-wide popular Button Beans candy. The Tickle Slime rarely produces Plorts, but its plorts are highly sought after for treatments of clinical depression and PTSD.”

No strange and anomalous is complete without at least one SCP running around. And for Slime Rancher, that SCP is SCP-999 “The Tickle Monster”… Which is a Slime. The Toy is a reference to Pokemon. Cos y’know, Pokemon are basically just harmless SCPs that battle.

The Giggle Slime

“The Giggle Slime are the only Tabby related Slime that giggles when interacted with. Like the Pink Slime, Giggle Slime are opportunistic carnivores, and while they will only eat meat, they don’t have a particular favorite.”

“Their Plorts are valued for multiple purposes, such as surgical medicine, cooking sprays, and environmentally friendly rocket propellant.”

You know the Slime Lava Lamps?

The Cocoa Lava Lamp is made from Hunters, but the Slime inside has a regular slime face. So I figured, why not make a new Slime?

The Giggle Slime is based on both Foxes and Hyenas, for one is closely related to both cats and dogs, and the other is apart of Feliform (Hyenas), same as cats.

The Mud Slime “The plorts of the rare Mud Slime are much desired for their skin cleansing and hair rejuvenation properties. Mud Slimes are located in rare parts of the Far Far Range, the Wetlands, born out of low tide Slime Sea beaches.”

The Mud Slime idea was made based on three of our other rather puddle like Slimes; they’re the Earth to… … Puddle Slimes’ water / Liquid … Fire Slimes’ Fire / Air / Gas (Fire is gas turned to combustion, and is not plasma) … Quicksilver Slime’s Electricity (Electricity is actual Plasma.

The Block Slime. “No one is quite sure where this Slime came from, nor why it has its peculiar block shape. Just as strange are its plorts, which are rounded and very very sticky. The Block Slime make great companions, and are prone to pushing all the buttons.”

I’ve done it. I’ve introduced Minecraft Slimes to Slime Rancher.

The Area: “A Natural Cave Formation”, is a dig on Halo. And for the Companion part, well… The Achievement for throwing one into an Incinerator goes “You’ve Incinerated Your Faithful Companion Cube”.

Fun Observations

Want some additional fun observations?

- Aside from Chickens; Bees. strange colorful Birds, and Seagulls also reside on the Far Far Range.

- Majority of the Veggies that are on the Far Far Range, if not all, are all root plants.

- The fact that your trade partners will leave you their areas, suggest they have more on other parts of the planet (and even likely away from each other); ... Meaning your portion of the Far Far Range is merely a small fraction of what exists on this planet (There may even be slimes you can't find or have)

- Another term for Slime is Pitch, or Tarr.

- Hunter Slimes are the only slimes with their type of cat like eyes.

- Secret Styles for Slimes can be akin to Shinies in Pokemon

- The Saber's Slime Toy suggests that Lizards are, or were, also present in the Far Far Range.

+ There is something particularly reality bending and metaphysical about Slimes that... ... Allow them to teleport (Quantum) ... Allow them to exist in environments of pure information (Glitch Slime) ... Allow them to become invisible with minimum known side effects (Hunter)

Enivorments: - The Moss Jungle is all but stated to be naturally invasive. 

- The appearance of other Ranchers, as well as being able to earn some of their bases, suggest that the Far Far Range is huge. There are definitely slimes you can’t access or don’t know about.

Probable Slime Types: - The Slimes that exist in stasis in the Lava Lamps suggest that new kinds of slime can be created by combining Plorts, as opposed to feeding Slimes plorts. (See Cocoa Slime's differences with its related Hunter Slime)

- The elemental nature of the Quicksliver Slime (Plasma / Lightning), Fire Slime (Fire / Gas / Air), and Puddle Slime (Water), suggests there is an Earth or possible Mud Slime somewhere on the world.

- Quicksilver is another name for Mercury, therefore, Quicksilver Slimes are technically Mercury Slimes.

- The existence of Metallic Slimes, such as Gold and Quicksilver, suggests that other metallic slimes exist somewhere on the world such as: ... Iron, Silver, Copper, Platinum, ect. The Secret Style of Rock Slimes suggest that they have a Lead variant.

- Phosphor and Rad Slimes make the additional suggestion that the Entire Periodic Table could exist as Slimes on the Far Far Range.

- The Crystal Slimes, and their Secret Style, suggest there are Slimes that have Gemstone (Silica Gemstone, mind) based variation. Such as... ... Emerald, Sapphire, Jasper, Quartz, ectra. ... Mosiac Slimes could be the Volcanic Glass variation. Which would explain its rather firey nature.

- There is the possibility of gaseous or cloud Slimes, those Slimes that can outright float or fly.

- The existence of Honey Slimes may suggest that Nectar, Ambrosia, Syrup-Based Slime exist.
