A03 Fic #4: Existential Crisis Mode by LuciaInTheSky

Peter was alone, mid-way through an existential crisis after the Erasure™ and was dreading the upcoming month of May.

Jason was sick of people telling him how he felt. ‘You don’t need us anymore,’ Artemis had told him, as if saying it would make it true. As if Jason needed someone to justify keeping them around. But three weeks back in Gotham and all Jason felt was fucking bored and lonely.

Cue some wild family misunderstandings, criminal conspiracies and cults.

It was a relief, then, when some random New Yorker was thrown into his living room through a portal straight out of some LSD daydream.

Finally, something interesting to deal with.

9/10 would continue reading, this fic isn't finished yet!!! But it is still a good read.

One of my first 'Peter into DC' fics I read. However, I'm still really hooked on the Richard Parker = Richard Grayson thing.

I wish there were more fics with that tag 😔

A03 Short Story #1: Peter Parker into the DCU

A flash of colors flashed in front of his eyes as he fell. With a jolt it halted, sending him tumbling onto a hard surface. Blinking rapidly as his eyes adjusted to the dull and dark scenery, he sat up to take in his surroundings. Peter was on the roof of a tall building overlooking Gothic architecture with gargoyles perched high on their edges. The dark sky made their shadows dark and the dull light of the city made them dance. Glancing down at himself he took inventory of his wounds. Most were already healed scrapes and bruises, visible through the holes of his torn suit. Breathing in shakenly he ran his hand through his hair, pausing to take note of his missing mask. Head throbbing as the cold breeze stung his nose and split lip. Curling into himself, he wrapped his arms around his knees. Letting the grief slam through him, Peter lost everything, everyone. He was all alone in another universe where Peter Parker didn't exist, no Aunt May, no MJ, and no Ned. Tears ran down his face as he sobbed. He was all alone, just him and these stupid gargoyles. “Hey kiddo, you shouldn't be up here” a voice called out, knocking him from his thoughts. Startled, he jumped up and turned towards the voice. There a man stood, the blue of his suit stark against the night in the shape of what looked like a bird. The man held his hands in a placating manner as Peter stood his ground. “Whoa hey, not here to hurt you. I saw a flash of light over here and came to investigate” He said gesturing to the roof. His voice sounded familiar, it lit an old memory of Peter's. One he never thought he'd hear again. His vision dimmed as the throbbing in his head grew. “Tati?” Peter rasped out as the world spun, darkness closing in on the edge of his vision. The blue man looked startled as Peter's vision warped and the man began to run towards him. Pitching forward into the man Peter looked up at him, he could see his father's mouth moving as the world went black.

This is a story I've been working on, not sure if I'll post it on A03.

Books #3: Goosebump Novels by R.L. Stine

9/10 Good read for older kids, though I do question why they make horror books for kids. I guess some kids are into that, but I didn't start reading them until 6th grade.

The blob that ate everything, ruined the bath for me. I still have to put a rag on the drain, my drain trauma is draining.

I like spooky things, not horror-level scary. Just enough to give me chills.

The original series has 62 books, 145 pre-2008 books, 150 chapter books and a couple additional books.

Game Review #2: Phasmophobia

5/10 The game was fun for a while but it kinda got repetitive. But if you're looking for a good scare I'd definitely recommend.

I like the proximity VC, one minute you're talking, and the next you can hear screaming in the background.

I usually either die first or am the last to die. Both of which I find funny. If I'm the first to die I'm stealing all the ghosts' junk. Forks?? Those are mine now, Pictures of you child?? Sorry but I'm taking those too, and that bone you somehow lost??? Yeah, I need that.

If I die last, I try to speed run cause I tend to get spooked easily. or I just continuously run around a counter/table until the ghost stops chasing me then skidattle.

I need a game like Phasmophobia but instead of ghosts have a murder mystery. On a large map where you have to find clues and everything. It has to be multiplayer, I've found some murder mystery games but I can't play it with friends.

Headcannon #3: DCU and MCU are connected.

Richard 'Parker' was an undercover Shield agent and so was Mary. Richard Grayson is a police officer and vigilante.

Peter Benjamin Parker was named after his Uncle Ben. So, I kind of like that Jason 'Peter' Todd is DC Uncle Ben.

Another thought, what if Gotham did exist at one point in the MCU??? But something happened and it was wiped off the map, but Jason and Richie got out somehow.

Alternatively, it didn't exist so none of the Batfam found each other but somehow Jason and Richie did.

I mean, maybe they just don't have the same names. Maybe Cass could be Natasha?? I know that Ironman and Batman are compared a lot.

Who could be the alternatives to them?? I love when you can connect two things or how the DCU and MCU mirror each other.

I know there are some comics where they do crossovers, but I haven't read them yet. I'm also kinda broke right now 😕.

A03 Prompt #1: Bruce going to the past!!!

Bruce accidentally happens upon a way to travel to the past or is accidentally hit by some sort of spell that takes him to a certain point in the past. Basically, he's a time traveler of sorts

But!!! buutttt!!! Instead of being responsible or accidentally causing time travel trouble he realizes something. He can go see his babies.....AS babies!!!He can see his robins as Itty Bitty babies!!!

He somehow brings a camera with him and takes baby pictures of all of them. And No!! He didn't cry!! Okay, maybe he did a little but no one will ever know.

And when he returns home with the camera, he later has a GIANT baby book....or no, you know what?? he makes a 50+ page PowerPoint presentation!!!! And one day after the family dinner he calls a meeting.

He, in the most dramatic way ever (of course he did he's Batman), tells them what happened and why he disappeared. Then starts the presentation on the batcomputer.

The kids expect a debrief or a 'what not to do while in the past'. No, no, what they get is the most embarrassing baby photos, photos of them dressed up adorably as little kids.

Horror dawns on them as Bruce, stoic, emotionally constipated Bruce Wayne, starts crying. They try to escape, but Bruce is prepared, he has the whole Batcave locked down.

Alfred, ever the gentleman, sits through it all. And if he sheds a tear, no one questions it. He asks Bruce for a copy afterwards so that he can make actual photos for the wall.

Anyone is allowed to use this idea!! But you gotta send the fic to me ;)

A03 Fic #3: Wish I Recorded This By yourlicoticfriend

Suddenly, Dick smirked, making Tim’s stomach turn with unease. “I won’t tell anyone about what happened on that roof during patrol last week.”

Tim blanched. He couldn’t keep his expression neutral as his eyes widened in horror. “You wouldn’t,” he hissed.

“Oh, I would.” If looks could kill, Dick would be a dead man.

10/10 I love these types of batfam fics, they're funny and wholesome. I can always fall back on them after reading a sad or angsty fic.

Need more of them, more wholesomeness. I know Batman comics are supposed to be dark and dreary but come on there's so much potential!!!

Anyways, I recommend reading this fic. It is one of three fic series starring Damian, Tim, Richie, and Jason. It's called The Blackmail Files!!

Give some kudos to the writer for me!!! :)

A03 AU #3: Jason Todd as a Halfa or something equivalent (Danny Phantom universe)

Halfa or Revenant Jason Todd. Maybe he has corrupted ectoplasm from the pit so his core isn't fully formed. That's why he doesn't have powers, but he still has ghost instincts.

I just read a fic where Jason attacks Danny. All I could see in my mind's eye was two cats duking it out. I find it hilarious, need more fics like this.

Crime alley as his haunt and that's why he hates Batman coming to visit him. Or the manor being his haunt and that's why he's so unbalanced and has fits of rage.

Book Review #2: Eragon by Christopher Paolini

The book tells the story of a farm boy named Eragon, who finds a mysterious stone in the mountains. The stone is revealed to be a dragon egg.

10/10 brain goes brr dragons brrr and I love the structure of the book and its storytelling.

Dragons are my favorite so I might be a bit biased but I really enjoyed it.

Do NOT watch the movie I hated it!!! It skipped over everything and the plot of the book was destroyed!!! If I ever see the director he's gonna catch these hands!! (jk!!jk!!)

Game Review #1: Stardew Valley

Headcannon #2: Spider-Mans Abilities part 2

Spider-Man's agility, Peter's is that compared to a human-sized spider. And spiders have no bones.

"It took my bones Mr.Stark"

"What??"

"I got no bones!!"

"Peter I gave you an X-ray yesterday cause you broke your rib, you have bones"

Peter stared at Tony and then contorted, full-on exorcist crawl towards Tony. Tony blinks, coffee in hand, barely awake for this.

".....Your getting another X-ray"

"BoOooOonnNes"

Turns out Peter's bones are loosely connected and have a mutated level of double joints.

Peter's gonna use this to his advantage.

Clint is up in his vents (when did everyone decide that Clint was a vent gremlin??) snacking on some gummy worms when he looks up. In the distance, he can see a shadowy figure. He freezes not expecting anyone else up here and he doesn't have his bow.

The figure either turns to him or opens its eyes cause he now has large white eyes looking at him. His heart jumps and he scrambles back a bit. Then the creature contorts, spine twisting with stretchy limbs.

"...."

"BooOooOnNnnNess"

"Nope Nope Nope Nope!!!"

Clint evacuates the vent in a rush abandoning his snacks. He runs to Tony in a panic telling him about the demon in the vents. Tony blinks tiredly at him and sighs. Soon Peter walks in, with his suit on, and in his hands are some gummy worms. His suit has big white lenses....

"..."

"You little shit"

Peter shoves a bunch of gummy worms in his mouth and runs with Clint on his heels. Tony sighs again looking at his coffee like he's questioning his life choices.

A03 Fanfic #2: The Misadventures of Cosplay Man by Shynnohwen

After accidently getting launched through a natural rift and stuck in a alternate universe, Danny decides to help the local heroes while waiting to get picked up.

But he doesn’t do it as Phantom or Fenton, oh no. He doesn’t want either of his identities to get mixed up in all this nonsense and get traced back to him. So what does he do?

Crappy cosplay.

10/10, this fic is freaking hilarious!!!

I absolutely love crossover Fanfics!!! Phantom causing chaos in the DCU, I need more!!

I also like the fics where Jason Todd turns out to be a halfa as well and the pit rage is cured. These fics are sweet and wholesome.

A03 AUs #2: Mind meld Au

An AU where characters are, either cursed or hit by a spell, that gives them a telepathic bond.

The bond allows everyone to hear all thoughts, memories, or feelings of the others who are connected or cursed.

It could be used in many different ways, imagine having your whole family have access to your thoughts. The struggle to put up walls so no one digs into your mind.

There are very few fanfics with this AU or it is under the 'telepathic bond'. Which I feel is good for a one or two-person bond, but for a whole group 'Mind meld' is a good tag for.

I've read a fanfic where the whole Batfam was 'blessed' by Gotham it was a good read (I'll do a post about it soon).

Book Review #1: Warriors by Erin Hunter

This series centers around four feral cat clans Thunder Clan, Shadow Clan, River Clan, and Wind Clan. Each clan has its own beliefs, customs and territories.

There is a main character named Rusty but I won't spoil the introduction to him :)

5/10, I love the series but due to some characters and character development. There are a few that could have had more added to their story.

The series is quite long totaling around 42 main books and 14 super editions. And are currently coming out with graphic novels (that I haven't read yet)

Also, I do want to warn you, it gets into a lot of dark subjects. So I don't suggest it for little kids, I read it when I was a teenager.

If you do decide to read, which I suggest, be prepared to shed some tears.

Headcannon #1: Spider-Mans abilities

Spider-Mans strength, imagine a 15 year old Peter forgetting that he can lift things that others can't or just being a pain. Imagine Peter just handing someone something to either Ned or Tony.

"Hey, Mr Stark!! Here you go!!" Peter hands Tony a pretty heavy tool. Tony, not looking, just reached and grabs it.

"Thanks UnderrOOOOOO-" Tony slams to the floor with the tool in hand. Both of them are in shock for a moment.

"Oops"

"Peter?"

"Yes Mr.Stark??"

"Run"

"?!!?!?!"

Peter, visiting the tower with his school bag and leaving it in the main living area. And one of the Avengers comes across it and tries to move it somewhere else(keyword tries).

Sam, finishing up making a sandwich, turned to sit at the breakfast bar. Seeing Peter had left his bag on top of the bar he went to move it, dragging it to place it on the floor.

"Wha in th--" WHAMMM the bag brings him to the floor and lands on of him, leaving him out of breath.

Bucky, who was on the nearby couch with Steve, watching this all go down bursts out laughing. Steve looked at him, surprised but happy his old friend was laughing, started laughing as well.

"Guuys..-wheeze-..help"

Steve comes over and lifts the bag off him. He is surprised at how heavy it is and that the bag itself isn't ripping. Bucky comes over and gives it a try as well, raising an eyebrow he is thoroughly impressed

"What in the world is in there!?!?!" Sam groans, still on the floor.

All three of them look at each other before Steve opens the bag. Five large school textbooks, some Stark tech, and two large bricks?? Why does the kid have bricks in his bag??

"Hey have yo- oh!! There it is!!" Peter dashes in looking for his bag.

"Kid, why do you have bricks in your bag!!??"

"....Well you never know when someone is gonna mug you!!!" Peter says zipping the bag up and putting it on his shoulder like it weighs nothing.

"I gotta go Mr.Stark said we are gonna upgrade my suit today!!" He says beaming before running out.

"...That kid is something else"

"At least I didn't get taken out by a backpack"

"Shut it!! I wasn't expecting it to be that heavy!!"

A03 Fic #1: Operation Itty Bitty by Rude_And_Not_Ginger

Jason’s therapist gives him a simple assignment: accept one affectionate gesture from Bruce.

He doesn’t expect Bruce to go feral with it. And he definitely doesn’t expect to… like it.

10/10 would recommend it, made me snicker like a fox that snuck into a coop.

This is peak Jason and Bruce parent/child relationship. Jason is petty but still loves his dad, not that he'd ever tell anyone. And Bruce, with his hoard of children, is the tired dad who would do anything for his kids. Yeah, Bruce was a horrible dad at first, but now he's trying.

Please go give the author some love!! Thank you!!

A03 AU #1: Gotham City Spirit

An AU where Gotham or other cities are personified as humans.

What if Bruce WAS the city spirit??

Maybe when Bruce fell down the well, he died, but as we know him and the birds have a unique relationship with death. Or some sort of situation happens.

Maybe Bruce doesn't know?? And through the story, Bruce slowly figures out.

When he goes on walks, the city glides around him,it embraces and even more so at night as the bat. The older he gets, the more his abilities manifest. At one point, Bruce can think about going to a certain part of the city, walking towards an entrance to another part of the mansion, and he'll appear at said part of the city.

Other pairing AUs : Cryptid! Batfam, Mindmeld! Batfam, and Phantom! Into DC.
