For: family, date night, solo day time
When: 7AM-2AM (8AM-10PM Sunday’s)
Where: 75 9th Ave
Crafty foods, local arts, clothing, specialty gifts and stores of all kinds. A vibrant and exciting atmosphere full of creativity. Suggested bites here are from Very Fresh Noodles, with their hand pulled noodles made daily (about 2.5 million feet that is – I know, impressive!), Black Seed Appetizing for any Jewish fare or the authentic tacos from Los Mariscos; you really can’t pass up lunch here. From the cook books available to read at Very Fresh Noodles bar, the people watching at any table in between or to even enjoy a walking taco - the options are endless.
Fat Witch Bakery is also a must stop for treats here: talk about serious brownie heaven. You can’t beat their adorable logo either, so if you’re looking for local goods to take home as gifts this is a great choice to do so. Other shops include a small grocers downstairs which have a plethora of from scratch goods and snacks, Los Tacos No. 1 (on our top food lists for NYC for being authentic but we prefer the Times Square location), as well as an entire section dedicated to local artist booths that host buttons, jewelry, home décor, music records, alpaca goods and more! Worth the walk around to find trinkets and special treasures.
