The Seven Five (2014)
Tumblr media
“Welcome to the land of fuck”
New York before the 90′s was something else. It was dirty and filthy everywhere. Over the years, politicians slowly but surely transformed the Big Apple into a tourist-safe destination. But in order to do so, some sweeping needed to be done. If crime and corruption disappeared from the naked eye, it’s because they pushed it somewhere else. The Seven Five is a documentary about some of the dirtiest cops in recent NYC history; cops from the 75th precinct.

2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
Tumblr media
Tagline: “The Ultimate Trip.”
Starring: Keir Dullea, Gary Lockwood and fake monkeys
Directed by: Stanley Kubrick
Written by: Stanley Kubrick and Arhur C. Clarke
Based on a book by: Arhur C. Clarke
Tumblr media
Takes place in: 2001
Monkeys discover a black monolith and invent weapons.
Humans discover the same monolith and computers want to kill them.
Tumblr media
In the future:
Space travel is a thing.
Video chat has no lag in space.
Tablets are also in use and of decent size. You can even play chess by voice command.
Don’t trust computers.
Unlike most science fiction films of it’s time, 2001 doesn’t feature alien invasions or any cosmical disaster. It simply warns us that our dependance on technology is a double edged sword. If AI gains consciousness, that can turn either very good or very bad for us. So keep an eye on that Watson IBM is working on…

CLASS OF 1999 (1990)
Tumblr media
Tagline: “Hired to Teach. Programmed to Kill.”
Starring:Bradley Gregg, Traci Lind, Malcolm McDowell and Pam Grier
Directed by: Mark L. Lester
Written by: Mark L. Lester, C. Courtney Joyner and John Skipp
Takes place in: 1999
Teenagers are still dangerous (this is a sequel), but this time, they have a brand new kind of teachers. Teachers of the robotic kind!
Tumblr media
In the future:
A military robotic company decided to transform their  failed killing machines into teachers.
There are Free Fire Zones, where cops do not enter because teenagers are way too dangerous!
For some reason, they can chase away cops and cause anarchy, but they still go to school!
You have to give credit to the producers for taking the concept up a notch. It’s no longer teenagers vs teachers. Now it’s teenagers vs robotic teachers. Basically, imagine Robocop, but teaching in Detroit, instead of killing bums. It’s kind of admirable actually…
Also, with Malcolm McDowell and Pam Grier, Class of 1999 clearly has the best cast of the series. Class of 1984 had Michael J. Fox, but in his pubescent and chubby days.

Is there a link between MAD MAX: FURY ROAD and tarot?
THE FOOL AKA THE MADMAN :
“In the earliest Tarot decks, the Fool is usually depicted as a beggar or a vagabond. In the Visconti-Sforza tarot deck, the Fool wears ragged clothes and stockings without shoes, and carries a stick on his back. He has what appear to be feathers in his hair. His unruly beard and feathers may relate to the tradition of the woodwose or wild man.”
THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE
“A common aspect to most interpretations of this card within a reading is to introduce an element of change in the querant’s life, such change being in station, position or fortune: such as the rich becoming poor, or the poor becoming rich.”
THE TOWER
“The Tower is commonly interpreted as meaning danger, crisis, destruction, and liberation.”
DEATH
“Death indicates a time of significant transformation, change and transition. You need to profoundly transform yourself and clear away any of the old in order to bring in the new. Any change at this time should be welcomed as a positive, cleansing, transformative force in your life. The death and clearing away of limiting factors can open the door to a wider, more satisfying experience of life.”
THE EMPEROR
“The Emperor sits atop a stark, barren mountain, a sign of “sterility of regulation, and unyielding power.”[1] He symbolizes the top of the secular hierarchy, the ultimate male ego. The Emperor is the absolute ruler of the world.”
