It is to my knowledge that Mod Scribe has forgotten about this group, so I doubt that there will be any grand mastermind execution at this point in time. I apologize to anyone who may have been waiting for that, but I don't think it's likely to happen as things are now.

However, if you enjoyed this group or didn't get in the first time but wanted to, we will be launching a reboot called Ouroboros Protocol, with a mostly different set of mods. You should check it out and consider applying!

EXECUTION NOW IN PROGRESS

The mastermind round comes to closure! Chokichi Kurosawa is the mastermind!

For his execution, a video will be made, as well as multiple posts of the plot and what are the fates of the students after! The students remaining alive ingame are free to roleplay post!ouroboros threads of they wish. Purely optional.

Consider this to be a nice highschool AU where people hang out and do regular everyday highschool stuff. Apologies to those who are dead.

With this, The Ouroboros Project will now go inactive until completion of the video.

FINAL TRIAL TIMES

SETTING- REALITY-ALTERING SEQUENCE

When you all wake up, you wake up on the floor of the gymnasium of that extremely familiar place, what was that again...? Oh right, they were back at the start, Hope's Peak Academy. No other setting had this kind of gymnasium- or even had one to say the least. And there was that huge paper hanging down on the top of the stage saying:

...Welcome back to Hope'ss Peak Academy!

Once everyone was either wide awake, or somewhat near that state, the snake plops down from the ceiling, onto the podium that was placed on the stage. It appears to be smirking as it scans the whole setting, before speaking.

"Well here we are again! Baaaaaack at the start. I love it. It's a circle, kekeke."

In unison, multiple pings were heard throughout the gymnasium, seeming to come from the students' ID cards.

"It'ss the final round, better look hard and loooooooooong for thingss! I'm ssure there'ss going to be abssolutely FUN puzzless to ssolve, kekeke. Or jusst find boring bookss and sstuff, which isn't so fun. Ssee you later, you sshitss!"

With that, the snake jumps behind the podium, seeming to have disappeared.

CHAPTER 7- RECOLLECTING SENTIENCE

Once the final recording was played, the remaining students- and some of the deceased- were forcibly shooed out of the waiting room by the snake, snapping at them in both verbal and physical methods. eventually using some kind of recording of screaming, and cries that eventually got louder by the minute.

"Now then!! Go on! Go to the attic on the top floor. You'll go on to the next area from there! Kekeke, lookss like time iss running out. "

Without having a choice in the matter, the students all left the waiting room, presumably moving to the attic- which was locked to the students before. Upon walking into the attic, it's..vacant. As expected. It doesn't take long for the students to gather together.

Once all of the students were present- the alive ones of course- there was a knock from the window that led to the porch, before it was opened, with someone's head peering into the room from there. And there he was again, the criminologist from before. And a loud noise of of a helicopter in the background as well.

"....I thought there were more of you guys. Either way, get in the helicopter. I'd like to get out before I hear this audio over and over in my sleep. "

Was there even a choice in the matter? In a few minutes, all the students were forced on the helicopter, either not tossed in, or tossed in. With the entrance of the helicopter close, the helicopter takes off to it's next destination.

And somehow, you all find yourself falling asleep much more quickly than expected. If you were to look at the adults in the helicopter...they all had gas masks on.

Everything slowly went black.

EXECUTION- VICIOUS SOLAR CYCLE

GAME OVER.

KAIYA KOREI HAS BEEN FOUND OUT AS THE MOLE.

COMMENCING EXECUTION.

The recording starts by seeing both Kaiya and Monocobra near the start of what could be called Kaiya's execution.

She turned and moved but a few paces, sliding into the seat of what was very obviously a rollercoaster. A... Very large one, in fact. Once she was done with a wave and a single blown kiss, she strapped herself in it.

With a press of a button, the ride took off.

The ride was dangerously rickety, and the amount of sparks coming off the wheels of the cart was certainly... Not good. In fact, before the ride had reached the top of the first hill, there was a good bit of stuff, well, on fire. Not even the stuff that had been on fire in the first place, either. Of which there was plenty.

There was a bit of a pause as she reached the dangerously high top of the first hill. Well, at least it was over now.

Once the cart had tipped, the rest of the ride- 28 loops in total- was just the cart flying violently forward, probably a good thing for Kaiya, considering the vast amount of flames involved. In fact, had this not been a form of the Euthanasia Coaster, it would have likely been the most terrifying experience of her life.

Instead of ending as one would expect, with the coaster screeching to a halt with a charred corpse inside, it abruptly ramped into the air- the cart and the former microbiologist contents slamming hard into a thick steel plate.

The remains slid down the wall and fell into a heap at the ground.

"Well well, look at this girl sspouting up old news! SShe DID in fact do ssome of these things, but destroying the lasst of the antibodiess? Absolutely WRONG, incorrect! Know your factss, girl!"

The snake takes a moment to go ahead and let out a laugh for a few seconds, before resuming what it was going to say next.

"SSheessh, a girl like her sshould be executed! You better thank ME for thiss!"

With the screen slowly fading to black and before the recording stops completely, the snake adds onto what it had said before.

"Kekekeke, it'ss sshowtime again. That'ss what you get for making thosse jokess! Well I guessss they ssure killed me! Expect insstead of me dying, it'ss you! Bon voyage, except not! "

The recording ends.

Kaiya's eyes were too red for her to sound totally honest.

"...'sup, fuckers?"

Yet, honesty was no issue here. After all, this was Kaiya. She had never been an awful honest person anyway, not even with herself. That grin told it all.

"Bet you thought you were doing a good deed killing me. Weeeell, I guess you could say you're doing the world a favor. Except by the world I mean me. You see, if I had lived long enough to regret destroying the last of the antibiotics that cured the despair plague, that would be pretty shitty for current me, right? I went to all that trouble destroying the outside world for like, what? A shitty ass master key that unlocks anything? Like, booooooring."

Near the end she had faded into a bit of a pout. Rolling her eyes, a grin reappeared on her face.  She had to remind herself once and again- you're Kaiya Korei. The whole world is your laboratory, and each person is just a new lab rat to play with. Real rats were much sweeter than humans, anyway.

"Oh yeah, right. You like, thought I had connections to the mastermind? Nah. I have no fuckin clue who they are! Well, I do. But I figured that out myself! Like fuckin' horse dick I'm tellin' y'all info I busted my ass to get before you execute me! And like, for making some shitty puns, breaking a window, and throwing a water bottle at Chess Girl? Wow guys, thanks, that was like, suuuuuuuuper nice of you~ Hope you like your shitty, despair-ridden outside world without any of my info about the cure!"

She stuck out her tongue to complete it, giving a bit of a wink. There wasn't fear here. There wasn't regret. No way she was going out humiliated, not her. She had a hell of a lot to atone for, and... Now was the time.

"Later, losers. Seeya in hell."

The recording stops there.

ITEMS HAVE NOW BEEN FOUND!

The speakers crackle as they turn on a few minutes after the last USB flash drive is found. Along with it, the screens within the place flicker on.

"Wow! You guyss actually did find them! In thiss casse, everyone report to the waiting room then! If you don't...then I'll be very angry with you! Hope to ssee you all there!"

With that, the speakers and the screens turned off. What on earth was this snake doing? It seemed like it was toying with the remaining students, as if this was all a joke. Then again, it's been doing that for quite a while.

Without a choice in the matter, the remaining students- and some of the deceased- reported to the waiting room, where Monocobra was curled up in a coil next to one of the staff members, the criminologist it seems.

"Ohohoho! You guyss finally came! SSheessh, couldn't you go ahead and get here fasster?"

The snake flicks its tail once, and the staff member extends his hand outwards, looking as unamused as ever. Upon receiving the USB flash drives, he walks out of the room in a casual fashion.

"Kekekeke. Focuss your attention to the televissionss here. Otherwisse thiss iss going to be jusst sso boring."

A few minutes passed by, and then the television screens suddenly flickered, and went black for a few moments...until-

Iiiinteresting. Alright, Tanji takes the weird fucking plastic paint egg. And abandons the stairs for the moment. Fuck stairs. Instead she examines the sign-in book and also the bowl of candy and the vase for more things hiding in there.

The sign in book holds a list of the student's names, the times that they've entered, you notice that almost all the students had been through this area except for some students. They are as followed:

Examining the bowl of candy, you find...

A bunch of old people candy.

A bunch of pills in the bottom of the bowl, unknown type.

It appears to be in a plastic bag so that it wasn't submerged in  water.

You hear a familiar sound of speakers turning on after a few moments have passed on by.

Examining the table, you find...

A ripped up book.

Broken remains of an orange pen, the ink is staining the table.

Examining both the cabinets and the drawers, you find...

Two Easter eggs, though one pops open with confetti a few seconds after you find it. The other has candy in it.

Idk where to start uh. Chokichi investigates Daisy's office thing. Yea. Then after that, probably gonna check out the cafeteria or something.

Daisy's office is locked! It cannot be accessed.

The cafeteria is in decent condition, the floors are swept away, and the tables in it are polished.

Examining the room, you find...

They're in normal conditions, although the Jenga pieces was rather kept untidy for some reason. Perhaps someone played it earlier.
