A regular practice of gentle breathing strengthens your ability to surrender.
Surrender is the most difficult thing when you have anxiety or panic attacks. You don't have to push yourself into it. Just find gentle ways to begin trusting your body again.

Grounding is NOT about focusing on or expressing your negative feelings. Its a way to be safely present in the here + now. It's a way to detach from the story you're telling yourself + instead be completely in the present moment, in your body. Imagination is one of the most powerful ways to ground.
