MY SHIFTERS!

Ever get stuck on a really good song and picture yourself in that sort of scenario?

I'm currently listening to this song.

And MY GOD I have such a strong urge to be a villain in one of my drs.

But I know better. I'll just leave that sort of behavior for my daydreams.

As fun, as it could be, I can imagine the real drama there could be if I made this a reality.

So I read this Tumblr post...

And it was talking about leaving some things in your dr up to chance. They were asking if anyone else did this.

I actually do this a lot. I do not script every single detail for my drs. I love making my version of myself for my drs for fun, but when it comes to how I come into contact with the people in my drs and how they perceive me, I usually leave that up to chance.

Like for my ATSV dr, I did not intend for Miguel to chase me (I posted about this, you can find it here) I literally just showed up and the guy pops out of nowhere and chases me, already knowing I was an anomaly. Now part of me does wish I had been a bit more prepared, but the rush was fun.

Slamming into multiple walls was not.

But besides that, I do leave a lot up for chance. And I usually like to script I do pop up at random (depending on the dr). And it just makes the whole experience that much more fun.

So does anyone else like leaving things for chance or is that not that common on here?

I'm so mad I just wanna-

So mini story time.

I shifted the night before last night, heading to my waiting room. (I only didn't talk about this yesterday, because i was still sour about what happened) But anyway. Like usual I explore to see if Limit visited, but I kid you not, I was not even out of the kitchen of my apartment when I felt a presence. I turned around and come face to face with Limit's brother, Fate.

Little context. Limit is a twin, and his brother Fate is nothing like him. He is super strict and very overprotective of Limit. So, spoiler alert, he doesn't like me.

I was very surprised to see him first if all, mainly because Limit is the only one that visits, so when I opened my mouth to speak, the man shuts me up by holding up a hand. Like RUDE. I wanted to speak first!

Anyway, he starts talking, and here I am listening to him. We don't really see each other often, so for this guy to get straight to business, was unexpected but also awkward for myself. And Fate starts going on about the responsibilities Limit has (since well they both have to take care of the last of their people) and then this man has the audacity to say I'm a "distraction".

TO MY FACE.

I WAS SO PEEVED.

He ends this conversation with the fact Limit isn't going to be visiting anymore and I felt my jaw drop. Anger does not describe my emotions there. I was in shock. I WAS SHOOK. And then he doesn't even let me argue, he just leaves. And just left me to stand there.

I was so angry afterwards. It explained why I haven't been able to find Limit. His brother hasn't been letting him come over! I would go to him, but I was conflicted on enduring Fate's wrath. He's both very powerful and a bit of a bitch, so I felt cornered and insulted. I wasn't in the mood to argue anymore so I woke up in my CR for the day.

There's more to the story since I shifted last night, but I'll post about it later. For now, I need to cool down.

I'm watching someone's shifting story time and omg I have so may urges to just shift myself in the most dangerous places of all for fun.

AND I SHOULDNT EVEN BE TRYING THAT.

BAD BRAIN.

Ugh, but I'm really itching for some new places to shift to, I just gotta plan it out!

The worst thing about being a writer and a shifter...

You find yourself halfway through a song and you're imagining all these cool scenarios with yourself in these badass drs, only to realize if you actually scripted these you'd be first of all traumatized, and second of all, probably be in danger half the time.

I like my drs to have some adventure once in a while, but I do have to stop myself and remind myself I'll actually be experiencing these things when I shift.

Bad brain. Stop trying to traumatize yourself.

Random Thought

Imagine being stuck in a musical.

Now imagine that scenario being a dr.

I'm so intrigued by the idea of being stuck in a musical dr where you live day in and day out doing musicals before everyone's eyes.

As fun, as it sounds, I have a feeling I'd be drained by the end of the day.

Just a thought!

Ever had a lucid nightmare?

Let me tell you, it's not fun.

At all.

Everything is happening too fast to control anything and you can react but then there are those moments when it feels too real and you wanna curl up into a ball and hide.

I had one last night and it forced me to wake up in the middle of the night. To calm down I immediately shifted to my waiting room. I did try looking for my friend Limit, but after some searching he wasn't there.

Still I used the waiting room to calm down and eventually wake up in my CR. I was too stressed to actually go anywhere last night other than my waiting room.

I even woke up exhausted from all that.

Anyone else here ever get lucid nightmares?

Fun Fact: My Animaniacs dr recently had a comic con.

Or an expo, not sure, but when I went I was looking for the Warners and I found Animaniacs merch. Like Yakko dolls.

Also fun fact, Yakko loves to steal what isn't his, especially after you got yourself a doll.

Another fun fact I learned, Yakko is a master at toon speed...

So last night I shifted.

I went straight to my waiting room and there I met Limit.

Now for a little context, my waiting room I dont give details about because it looks exactly like my home, but I will say it's like it's own mini world. The main focus is the apartment complex I live in.

And Limit found me first actually. I was walking in my house and went out into the hall outside my waiting room apartment. He sorta jumped scared me by coming up from behind me. He had actually brought another visitor with him (another oc of mine). I said hi and everything and we all talked for a while before the visitor had to leave. So it was just me and Limit.

We went back into my apartment and talked for while, just catching up. And later he showed me how he had fixed up another of the apartments for himself. Nothing big, just a few additions.

After that I decided we should do something fun since we're at my waiting room. So...

We jumped out my window!

No seriously, we did. In my waiting room it changes to my needs and surprises me half the time. So when we jumped out we actually landed swiftly onto the ground. Usually there's a whole city outside, but this time we were in a field of roses. We kept walking until we found ourselves in this candy like museum.

There was so much candy.

Like so much candy.

There we had fun checking out all the sweets and eventually saw some people in the middle of a cupcake frosting competition. I tried to join and failed in making a burger out of frosting. (Don't judge, others were making their own creations that were even more wacky!)

But we had fun which was the important part. So we kept looking around until it got late and we decided to head back for the day.

He went home and I stayed and chilled for a while at my waiting room. Nothing else happened after that and I woke up back in my CR.

Short story I know, but I had fun. I'll definitely try to shift in a few days. And I'll update you all on how it goes.

Another dr I have to talk about before I talk about how I shifted last night is one of my OC drs.

I have a lot of story ideas as a writer and I decided one day, why not travel to my ocs' worlds. Now the time I went there is a story for another day, but currently, I travel to visit one of the ocs named Limitation, or as I call him Limit. In my stories, he's a warrior and one of many of the last of his people.

It's real sketchy I know, but it's all I got for now.

Anyway, I choose to visit him because he's always so nice and he's a good friend. A little context about him is he travels to other dimensions, so I let him visit me in my waiting room. I usually look a certain way when he visits.

Here's how I choose to look:

He's my usual visitor in the waiting room. Sometimes he just cleans up the place and I come back to him turning the place upside down as he cleans the place from top to bottom. He's nice like that.

But anyway, this dr is one of the main ones I choose to visit. There is another OC dr of mine I haven't gone to in a while, but I'll talk more about it in another post.

I'll talk more about this dr in another longer post, I don't want to info dump everyone.

I have one myself, but I'd love to get more information about them cause I have some wacky stories to share about my experiences.
