Do you ever just sit back and think about the fact that Copia was a pawn in a coup to take over a Satanic cult, who was then thrust into a leadership role that he never wanted without any preparation or training?

Like- don't forget he thought that he was going to be killed, to the point he developed a genuine complex about his mortality, while all of the authority figures around him just looked on with amusement at his "tantrums".

And now you have a new family member taking on his old role, making him useless and vulnerable and expendable in his own eyes. When he has been consistently manipulated and neglected and bullied by his family.

And then that new family member looks at him, with genuine sincerity, and simply says "I know you're scared of death. I am too. It's okay. I see you."?

I get why he's crashing out, honestly.

if there's one thing that Ghost taught me is that sometimes a family can be a weird old guy, pitbull, a slut (part-time kazoo player), a rat bastard (literally), their long lost brother who thinks hes a vampire, and their dead father/brother (?) who ocasionally comes back to life to do a sick sax solo and then die again

This aint Deep-Thoughts-About-Ghost caliber thinking, but I haven’t seen anyone talk about it, so I’ll stick it here.

Tingle Fringle said that Missilia Amori was about a manipulative, abusive relationship, and I shrugged and said, “With humiliating facials, sure, why not”.

Except, the rockets are already fired, between the eyes (a potentially fatal shot to the brain/mind), and the missiles are primed for the heart. Past and future tense. “Give in, or the war is on .”

Where do you escalate to, after rockets and missiles, in a war?

Bombs.

As in, LOVEBOMBING.

(And the whole “excite me with your demise” could just as easily refer to someone’s will to resist the love-bombing dying away, or just the good ol’ 1600s-y euphemism for orgasm, but that’s even more obvious and I don’t know how to end this ramble okay thanks bye)
