SO, apparently guy’s behind the Darkwing Duck comics,  Aaron Sparrow and James Silvani were planning to make a VIDEO GAME with as much of the original voice cast they could get, original story, and even cut scenes using the comics art style. The whole thing would've played out like the NES game sequel we never got, with Headcannon at the wheel (the people behind Sonic Mania) this whole thing sounded awesome. Commissioned by Weirdkev27, based on an idea by Queenbean03 and this original Hark, A Vagrant comic.

Considering that new episodes of the Ducktales reboot start this weekend this commission couldn’t have come at a better time. Earlier this year at San Diego Comic-Con Darkwing Duck was confirmed to be featured in said reboot (much to the joy of several DW fans including myself), though it is unknown when he will make his first appearance. If Darkwing looks a bit off here that’s because at the time of this posting the only reference I had for the reboot’s Darkwing was a low quality photo someone took during the Ducktales Comic Con panel. Said photo is a bit fuzzy so some things might be off, but I think I did justice to the terror that flaps in the night.
