So my dad got me this pin (left) at a con a few weeks ago, not even remembering I had one (right) that matched it (also a gift, from a few years ago) and I was like ��Why do yall keep getting me penguins holding big knives lol” I famously love penguins btw, it’s My Thing, I was just questioning the knives specifically.

This IMMEDIATELY backfired because I said this while still holding my recently purchased Big Knife (first of Asta’s swords from Black Clover) which would have been bad enough but my cosplay for this particular convention was PIPLUP THE PENGUIN POKEMON; literally a penguin with a big knife like “guys this is such a weirdly specific gift to get twice” I wonderrr why
