BBB x Slime Rancher AU cuz I just realised that there are specific slimes suited to each BoEl and I’m gonna go insane cuz omg cute slimes (and Oboi deserves a break ngl)

Cuz imagine that the BoEls are assigned as ranchers to this lil slime planet and they are tasked with taking care of the ranch and expanding it (cuz TAPOPS hella “broke” lmao) so they would split up and find work that is specific to them (Gempa and Taufan got really good at wrangling wild slimes while Solar claimed the lab lmao). And over time they started enjoying the work and some even befriended slime buddies!

Starting with our eldest, we got Quicksilver slime!

These lil guys are the fastest in the far, far range that it is highly suggested that you upgrade your speed and stamina just to catch up to these lil speedsters. Ofc, not a problem for Halilintar as he is one of the fastest BoEls of the group so he can easily catch up to them and feed them electricity.

Yeah these lil guys eat electricity which is also why that sometimes they would actually approach him and feed off his electric pulses that he’d sometimes give out. Not really recommended for anyone to approach a well-fed quicksilver slime tho the electricity gave them a high enough current that will be harmful to the touch!

For our second eldest, we have the Dervish slime!

Now these lil spin tops are said to be one of the harder slimes to take care of but I’d digress cuz I literally just needed to keep their feeder full at all times and they never caused any problems. Now why did I choose these cuties in particular for Taufan?

Yeah these two are gonna get along great we don’t have to worry bout that I suppose. Ig the real worry would be for Taufan letting one of these lil guys go around the ranch and causing lil wind problems and flinging stuff around and creating a huge mess lol

For our third eldest, we have two!

The Rock slime and Crystal slime! These two lil boulders are two of the most difficult slimes to take plorts from cuz they are always rolling around and you can’t really approach them as they can damage you on contact.

Surprisingly these slimes are very calm at Gempa’s presence and seem to barely move for his convenience. Not that they can really damage him tho as his earth gloves help him pick them up when his vacuum pack is not available! The other BoEls are not too keen on dealing with these slimes (these slimes fight on sight istg) so they often leave them on Gempa’s hands. He has a lil rock slime helper and they are very good at keeping rowdy slimes in check!

For our middle child, we have the Fire slime!

Yeah not much to say cuz it’s pretty spot on lmao but unlike the elemental, these slimes are actually pretty chill and you don’t have much of a problem keeping them. However, you do need an incinerator and an ash tray below for them to be kept in the ranch as well as a nearby food source to feed into the incinerator cuz these lil guys eat ash from the food you burn. The hard part would be collecting their plorts cuz just touching them deals a lot of damage.

So Blaze is usually called to deal with these lil guys as he is resistant to their heat and can safely collect plorts! They do have a habit of jumping on him tho cuz they think of him as one of their lil charcoal toys.

For our third youngest, we have the Puddle slime!

Not much else to say cuz these lil guys are the chillest and sweetest things cuz you could leave them be in their pond and they’d just give you plorts. They are very shy tho so it’s advised to not scare them or else they couldn’t provide any plorts. They prefer either Ais or Gempa taking care of them as they are the calmest. Ais sometimes goes back into his first tier and does water tricks with them!

For our second youngest, we have the Tangle slime!

Now these pretty lil things are a genuine handful to take care of cuz istg as much as one keeps their feeder full at all times with food one little foreign plort lands near them and they rush their vines faster than Hali running from balloons to eat it and turn into tarrs. Yes they use their vines to grab food from really far away and these things are some of the most gluttonous lil pieces of dookie I’ve ever had in my ranch so it checks out that only specific BoEls are ever able to manage them, Duri included.

These things also spray pollen and agitate both themselves and other slimes that breathe that in and only Duri could withstand it compared to the others, Hali would accidentally shock them if he’s in charge and Gempa would summon earth pillars so it’s up to Duri at times to take care of them. Which is also supervised cuz he sometimes forget he has other slimes’ plorts in his pocket and a sneaky lil vine would steal it and eat it.

And for our last but never the least, our youngest BoEl in the roster, we also have two slimes!

Genuinely can’t choose between the Mosaic Slime and the Quantum Slime because one is a match to his abilities (the Mosaic Slimes causes solar anomalies due to their reflective surface) and the other is something he would experiment on (Quantum Plort uses are still being experimented on and of course this smarty pants would try to discover what else it can be used for cuz it was hinted at that it can be used for cloning). And ofc Solar would have two lil helpers cuz for some reason they are more competent than the two that drank his experiments (hehehehe iykyk).

Look I know the Phosphor Slimes are also his match but them, the Shadow Slimes and the Batty Slimes are more Fang’s matches cuz Solar don’t particularly like that the Phosphors fly everywhere and making a mess of things (the Quantums do that too but he’s got favourites okay). So he’d rather leave the Phosphor Slime wrangling to Taufan as he’s the BoEl who can reach them from the roof (trust me these lil guys somehow reach the most secluded corners in the cave and I’d only find them after they’d turn into tarrs from eating flown away plorts from the Boom Slimes like istg).

Anyways thank you for reading my ramble about slimes and BoEls cuz I went on a thinking spree lmao anyways Oboi deserves a break let him play with cute slimes damn
