Delighted to have had work selected to feature at an exhibition at theprintspace Gallery in London from 19th September - 13th October. The Art of Activism exhibition features work from artists in response to the theme of environmental protest.
All work will be available to purchase via The Guardian's website with all of the profit from sales being donated to Friends of the Earth to help fund future projects that help to raise awareness of important environmental issues. A full list of the works to be exhibited can be seen here: https://www.theprintspace.co.uk/the-art-of-activism-exhibiting-artists-announced/?mc_cid=cb7486c6d8&mc_eid=776394883c#

Good luck to Dan James after completing his move to Manchester United yesterday. As a Swansea fan it was sad to see him leave, but it can’t be denied what an opportunity it is for him to progress with his career. This illustration was produced a few months ago for Jack Swan magazine when speculation about his future was rife following a string of fine performances on the field.

As a Swansea fan it was a real pleasure to recently work on the cover illustration for the latest issue of Jack Swan magazine. Produced in the midst of a frustrating January transfer window it aimed to strike a positive tone by focusing on the good work done at youth level resulting in a number academy players breaking into the first team.

The result of a bit of experimenting with how to apply motion to illustrations using Adobe Animate. This one was actually a self-initiated piece produced a while back as a still illustration, but thought that it would work well as an animation.

My animated block submission for The Big 100 Project. Recently I've been using time between client work to learn some basic animation in order to have the capacity to produce animated gifs. Being able to contribute to this collaborative project lead by Matthew Fryer was the perfect opportunity to play around with a few different techniques whilst contributing to a live project and turned out to be a lot of fun. Visit here to find out about the project as a whole and see how each of the 100 contributions have been knitted together to form a living piece of art:http://www.thebig100project.co.uk/index.php

A recent piece on the theme of deforestation. The trees represented a first dabble at using the clipon paper and finetip pen that come as part of the Wacom Pro Paper Edition. A slightly different workflow to normal, but this method helped make it easier to incorporate natural stroke marks into a vector piece.
