Welcome back to Threads N Herbs! Today is day 7! Today we are going to talk about Arnica Flower!
Arnica Flower or sometimes known as Mountain Tobacco represents strength. " Used as an altar offering to deities, guides, or fae, Arnica can also be carried in a sachet for inner strength. It is also one of the twelve magical plants of the Rosicrucians."
(Ritual Herbs - Arnica Flower - Rite of Ritual)
"Arnica (Arnica montana) is a member of the Asteraceae (or Compositeae) family along with sunflowers and dandelions. It is a hardy perennial native to the mountains and pasturelands of Central Europe.
Arnica is masculine in nature and associated with Midsummer, the harvest and harvest spirits. It is sacred to Freya, Ra and Apollo. It is aligned with the sun and the element of fire."

Welcome back to Threads N Herbs day 6! Today we are going to talk about Angelica Root!
"carry it with you to ward off illness and encourage health. Use in a bath for breaking hexes/curses. Use as an incense for banishing evil spirits. Sprinkle around the home for protection against any unwanted energy or magick being sent your way."
(Ritual Herbs - Angelica Root - Rite of Ritual)
It is part of the Parsley family, known as a powerful guardian. It is commonly used to banish negativity and attract positive energy. It is associated with the Archangel Michael. "Legend has it that the angel appeared in a dream to a monk, showing him the herb that could cure the plague in Europe. Traditionally, Angelica blooms on the feast of the Apparition of the Archangel Michael, May 8. Angelica is also known as Holy Ghost Root, Archangel Root or Dong Quai." "Use care when wildcrafting, as it resembles both Queen Anne’s Lace (a benign wild carrot) and Water Hemlock (a poisonous plant)." "Angelica corresponds to the Sun and the element of Fire." "
Carry a piece of Angelica root to bring strength and ward off hexes. Put the root in a white mojo bag for protection, or a yellow one for courage.
Angelica is an ingredient in a Hoodoo working known as the Fiery Wall of Protection.
Add the dried root to incenses, floor washes, and baths to break jinxes and purify the home.
Use Angelica to consecrate amulets of Archangel Michael and all Solar charms."
(Magickal properties of Angelica – Grove and Grotto)

“What is the difference between a worshipper and a devotee?”
A Worshipper
A worshiper typically has a more casual relationship with their deities, compared to a devotee. A worshiper may pray or make offerings occasionally, but it is not their primary focus. This can be a good starting point for beginners who are just getting into spiritual practice, as it is less time-consuming than becoming a devotee.
A Devotee
A devotee prioritizes their worship and practice towards a particular deity or deities. A devotee will do everything a worshiper does, but more frequently and with greater dedication. This level of commitment requires more time and focus, which may not be ideal for beginners or those with very busy schedules.
Ultimately, the choice between being a worshiper or a devotee is a personal one. There is no universally "better" option, as it depends on an individual's spiritual needs, lifestyle, and level of experience. The key is to choose an approach that feels right for your current circumstances and goals.

You don’t have to have fancy crystals and herbs for spell jars btw. You can use sugar, coffee grounds, leaves, acorns, etc. Don’t fall victim to witchcraft consumerism.
